They sent out Kyle the next day. He was super nice and explained everything. He gave some recommendations to me and cleared the line for about $250 & was courteous. He also offered to walk round our home to inspect all of plumbing and it was informative. Since we live in a 90 year-old Brookside home we've got plenty of things going on new and old he was able to tell me all about all of the basement pipes and each of the fittings in our home and how to prevent issues but did not try to up sell me at all. I felt he was concerned about creating the things we have he & last. In the future I will employ Kyle with Benjamin Franklin for updates & our plumbing issues!
Our sewer and main line backed up from our basement when my husband was out of town so that I only googled to find Benjamin Franklin and had a crisis. I was super nervous because I didn't have all plumbing companies seem to have mixed reviews & a recommendation.
The woman unknowingly scraped together the money to cover them to find they had cracked the ceramic on both bathrooms and she had a water leak.
This company is the bottom feeder of plumbing firms by charging her $1500 for a thing which was repair than that as they took advantage of the woman's inexperience on those issues.
Ben Franklin Plumbing told that a woman in Lee's Summit it'd be 1500 to repair two bathrooms which just ran not leaking.
When she inquired about having them make it right she had been told though another issue they would not be fixing the leak is caused by their repair and that they fixed the problem they were tasked to fix.
She could have bought a brand new bathroom for less than 200 per piece. I was disturbed upon finding out about this incident and if I would provide them less than one star I'd!!!!
I had my faucet replaced and had two new shut. Told them to get the! *#× out of my residence. Nevertheless paid the fee. What a tear this company is. Got everything done from a friend who does it for $175. This company will rob you blind.
Betty; a sure me it'd be ok & last time I called she took the time to not do her job but also make me feel better. I felt even before they got here. Thanks!

I can not say enough terrific thy are; , on time, they & friendly fix it. I've done business with them for about ten years & they've always been around for me.
Called for service and they did so review of my plumbing and sold me a $1,500 device for water sediment which did nothing in any way. They scrutinized my own water heaters, both of which were functioning fine and 4 years old. The man slapped on among their business stickers on them and said I'll need new ones soon. Oddly enough we have very little water. I saw that the temp had been turned way down when I looked in the heater. It turned back up and they've been working fine ever since. This was 4 decades back. When I called to complain, the woman I talked to said that their plumbers don't attempt to"upsell," her word not mine.

Best Plumbing Business Ever! In the technicians into the women in the workplace - a fantastic experience!
OK. Those tecnicians understood what they'd done. . .will never use this company again.
Got one of the $39 coupons for flushing a water heater , so thought it might be a fantastic deal, so decided to call this company.
Of course, and many a friend was right, the technician said I had to eventually do all of this plumming in the tune of $1162.
Pay attentionto and be everyone.
He didn't tighten it back, thus After my heater was flushed out by the trainee, I was advised by another super firm that water was flowing out.
Don't do a work too great, since the customer will find all of this water and also be phoning BF back. . .good stunt.
Do not employ this provider. They were sent out to jet a sewer clog by my home warrantee company. They came out two days in a row, marked the clog (which was near the road, under a sidewalk, next to a streetlight, and in my neighbor's home ) They lent me nearly $8,000 to replace a sewer line including tearing up the sidewalk and repouring it. I told the guy that for $8,000 that I would need to get different estimates. He said I could be financed by them and when I agreed to fund it that night or the next day, when I funded together 46, that although they had 3 or 4 other jobs lined up , they could squeeze me. That I knew I needed to get estimates although if I could acquire pre-approved for the funding, I consented to see. When I called to get a quote the guy told me away that I wouldn't need to pay for it. Considering that the broken line was within 12 ft of the easement, the city pays for all repairs. Not only that, but Poor John's Plumbing had them out another day to affirm that I wouldn't need to be responsible personally and known as the sewer section. Even worse is that the City said they wouldn't have let anyone else fix the sewer due to the streetlight along with other utilities near the clog. The City said that when I had allowed Benjamin Franklin begin the work and whatever went wrong, I would have been liable. Thus, in my opinion, possibly Benjamin Franklin is well known for not understanding else they tried to get me to pay $ 8,000 to get a repair they should not have made or that anything within 12 ft of the easement was that the city's responsibility. So they had their attorney send me a cease and desist letter threatening to sue me when I did not take it down also , they did not enjoy my inspection. My employer was called by their attorney. Apparently she said it was because I had used my work email to respond to Benjamin Franklin . however, it is my opinion that she tried to put me in trouble at work. I believe this because this entire scenario had nothing.
I had been living in my house for a couple weeks once I started to have problems with my kitchen sink and am a first time homeowner. I asked them to come over and have a look at the problem for me and phoned Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Was Kevin. He was fantastic. He explained that it could be an easy fix and that it was just my drain. Once he was done he cleaned up the sink and left clean and nice. Everybody I'd talked to was considerate. I recommending them to all of my friends and definitely be using this company again.
Now I just wanted to get my dang drain cleaned so I proceed with my life and could have a shower and did not feel like arguing.
Our waste line backed up and we all had water in our own garage. That is a occurrence because we live in an older neighborhood and also have roots in our waste line. Before we've called Roto-Rooter and had a fairly good experience, but felt their pricing was pretty pricey ~ $250...
When the Serviceman was done cleaning the pipe, I turned on the water to make certain everything was good, and noticed there was really a bit next to the pipe cleanout. Before when Roto-Rooter cleaned our pipe, they set the floor with a mat to prevent a wreck on the cement. Obviously I wasn't amused when he abandoned that I needed to wash a lot of crap off my floor.
The Serviceman came out the next day (Sunday), and told me that the price was likely to be $228 ($99 for its Service Phone + $129 for Emergency Phone )...I told him regarding the Google Advertisement for $99 and that the Operator told me that the $99 was good, but he disagreed and stated since it was a Sunday, a crisis fee of $129 would employ.
In conclusion, the price that I was offered was faked, I overpaid and wasn't satisfied with the job.
I talked to the operator and told her about the $99 special and she stated she would make sure I would be given the discount by that the Serviceman.
I won't be calling Ben Franklin.
Bill F at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is a joy to work with. He clarifies the job and the quote, educates you, knows his stuff also does the job perfectly. It just does not get any better.
