They make the most of a situation that was poor.
I had been locked out of my condo in my pjs without my keys. Online, a service call that was $19 was advertised by Alfa. I had been told on the phone that someone would be out in thirty minutes OR LESS. Remember, I am a female, trapped out in the middle of the night, maybe not in the safest part of town. Well over an hour later, closer to one hour and a half, someone finally showed up. When he got by no stretch of the imagination, to my door, my door was unlocked in under 20 seconds. That task finally came to a total of $165! I will say, I had been told ahead of my door was unlocked. At this time though, we've already discussed that I do not have a phone . Unless I wanted to sleep out for the night or walk Colfax searching for someone with a 27, it had been clear, I had no other choice. Either way, a dangerous move. To make matters worse, once I called the following day within a minute I was being yelled at, not allowed to speak, told to let him speak, and on and on. Is that hard locks call for a price that is higher. Remember, this is a lock that was PICKED at a matter of moments. In addition, he YELLED this is the rate and I had been also billed an fee that is standard. At no time was I ever informed of an fee & nowhere on my receipt does it state anything to signify this. Nowhere on their website is this price remotely accurate . I spoke to different locksmiths and called around too. Not a one had a price even close or with an after hours fee. Overall, the rate is about $40. Regardless of the situation the night before, I was most appalled by the client service (or total lack of) on another line the morning after. I do not even feel that negates 2 stars for this particular corporation while I did get my door unlocked. I wouldn't ever recommend them.

Andres is a mensch. I lost my keys walking a customers spent about an hour walking around the neighborhood and puppies. I resolved to call a locksmith and at this point it was pretty late in the evening, approximately 11 P.M. I went with Alfa only because they came up first on Google and I'm happy with my decision. Andres arrived under 10, possibly at my location at under 15 minutes. He got into my car so fast. He offered to allow me. He proved himself a locksmith. I retrieved my car key and afterwards found my first keys.

Was locked from the flat on a Sunday with no way to get in -- had another locksmith come out that could not get us in and we phoned Alfa . Was out in under 15 minutes, to us being in the flat, and it was about 20 minutes. His tool broke getting us in, but was polite and pleasant. We definitely want if needed while I hope we do not need to use them again for a lockout!

Took almost 1.5 hour wasn't able to unlocked it ended up drilling the knob out without a dollar reduction! I saved $175 could've done myself!

Yeah, Alfa locksmith actually helped my wife and I outside . We had a key break in our ignition. To make matters worse it was correct through a snow emergency and the car was on an emergency course. So we called they had 2 hour waits and a couple areas. . .that just wasn't going to do the job. Then I phoned Alfa and they looked after everything in a half . Problem solved until the trucks came out, and we transferred the car. You guys just avoided me standing at the lot for hours in line. . .thanks!

Andres was so great! He got here right away and allow me to get my door open when we'd exhausted the other choices! Highly recommend:-)

I phoned at 11pm and lost my house keys that he was very prompt and respectful on the telephone and the lowest I could find, to undergo a deadbolt. When he said he was, he was instant on getting into my home. The whole process took 10 minutes and he managed to accept credit cards on the spot so I didn't need to hassle with that. All in all I'd highly recommend them, super, inexpensive, and they do not screw up your lock.

Andre came by unprepared and didn't have his equipment all. His first quote was $165 for 3 locks. He proceeded to perform the job but didn't contact when he discovered that the job went to exheed the quotation - closing charge $441. Called him on the phone after payment from my partner who was unaware of the previous quote and he got defensive, stating that he needed to spend more time than had planned (due to his lack of preparation). Bad business practice to give a quote and double that cost without letting your client know until the bill. Unprofessional to utilize your lack of prep to justify cost and highway robbery to utilize locks which cost $20 in local hardware shop but cost $75. Inferior company that doesn't give customer service and an estimate when you call to express dissatisfaction. BEWARE!

Highly recommended and exceptionally fast service! The locksmith was courteous and professional. They're true to their word together with fees - honest and neighborhood people. It just took a few minutes to unlock the door. True professionals - this business deserves a 10 star rating.
