We'd Gerard come to rekey our locks on our house he fixed a knob we had ruined trying to rekey it all ourselves and we bought. He was efficient and quick and kind! Definitely will recommend him to family and friends and use him in the future!

These guys helped my mom when she locked herself and helped me generate a master together with copies and re-key the locks. They're aggressive price-wise, friendly, and fast. Go here for her wants - the 5 stars do not lie.

I could not have been impressed with not just the work, but professional Jerry was. He was honest and up front with us. I informed him he was very professional never once uttered a thing about them and helped us with precisely what we asked .

Jerry was quite honest on the phone and warned us about other"locksmiths" who'd just drill your lock for exorbitant prices. He opened the two doorways with ease and arrived within 25 minutes into our place in Malden, no drilling needed. His prices are really affordable and he is a locksmith that is true.
Now we got locked out of our house and we called a couple of companies how much time it would take for them to arrive and to request quotes. We had a bad encounter with the the technician that came who wanted to charge 220 to open the front door and unit door, he also wished to drill the lock. The service charge was paid by us and known as Jerry whom we spoke to on the phone earlier.

After that I had a problem with the front door and called in. Gerry had me text images to him and immediately taught me it was a simple fix that didn't require spending or repair money.
I have used after going in, Sir-Locksalot to rekey my home. The job was completed at a way that was very courteous and respectful and on-time.
Quality service. Total of ethics! Don't go anywhere else for your lock servicing!

Greater than 1.5 years ago Gerry replaced 5 deadbolts in my property. My impressions were: 1. He looks like 2 and a nice guy. It was surprisingly expensive (~$650 for ~ 3 hours work, including the cost of the deadbolts). Though our door deadbolt was tight/difficult to fit from that day the work's caliber seemed okay. A few days ago one of the deadbolts failed - it was the only lock that Gerry had to rekey himselfso that 2 unique keys could flip it. I tried emailing Gerry to get help/suggestions but received no reply. I really don't want to trash Gerry's business, but I do want to leave an honest review for others: I discovered the standard of workmanship and the cost. I'll likely try a locksmith that is different next moment.

When day of service arrived, he had been very communicative on when he'd arrive so you may rest assured that if you've got an apt. At 1, he will be there--and if does not think he can make it on time (even if he will be 10 minutes late), he will call you to let you know.

Besides installing deadbolts that are new and changing locks, he was able to provide some history of mended portions and the doors / frames to us.
What can I write that has not been written already? Gerry is a very honest and educated professional. I felt as though I was being pressured to anything, although he discussed the ins and outs of some of the deadbolt/lock choices I mulled over.

Gerry's service warrants a mention although I don't often write reviews. He accommodated our request on short notice, was courteous, effective, and indicated tens of thousands. Don't think if you need a locksmith usage SIR Locksalot.

I simply scheduled Gerry to put in an electronic deadbolt I read about in Consumer Reports. He had been familiar with it said he had installed many of them & was a lover. He gave me some guidance and quoted a fixed price and time & date for the job to get done.
Up to now I'm impressed, although will update this once the lock is set up.

Also they seem like a high-integrity operation; Gerry pointed out the arguments in favor of replacing my front door lock also but frankly advised me that I would be best off just giving it a couple more years before it's more acutely in need of work; he did not attempt to pressure me into substituting it right now too.

I wished to have and a Yelp search revealed that Sir Locks-A-Lot has a near-flawless score, so I decided to give them a shot. Gerry and Dave showed up directly in the center of the window that was promised, and replaced with the lock that was back in around 30 minutes.
I ended up paying more than I'd expected, because it was that the back locks had to be substituted with ones and so weren't compatible for keying with front. However, the convenience was worth the extra price (the old back locks were inoperable in the exterior and had been driving me bonkers), and I appreciated the speed with which they cared for business.

Just used Gerry for the second time and he was helpful and quick as always! The key to my bike lock was not working and he came out and cut off it, and also told me I could return the lock for complete lock and a full refund! Would definitely recommend him and will call him again if I am ever in need, thank you Gerry!

Asked after studying their Yelp testimonials when we moved our house keys to be installed by them; They live up to it! They helped us choosing the proper lock (and they weren't pushy about it, also!) And even cared for our sleeping infant by warning when they needed to drill. If I experience lock issues Can call them back.

I ruined the lock trying to have it open myself, then had dropped my garage door key, therefore I had to have the appearance and replaced the day after Thanksgiving. The service was as good as I had been expecting from another reviews that are Yelp. Gerry came right when he said he would (within one hour of when I called), managed to get the job done quickly, and the price was very fair. He was professional and quite friendly, and I would certainly call him again.

Great experience once we moved into a new condominium and hired Sir Locksalot to change all the locks. Gerry's son (sorry, I forgot his name!) Came on time (at the start of the estimated window), worked fast to change and match the guards into a single key, and advised me of great regional items to check out from the area. Price was reasonable. Would definitely hire them again!

I Did an amazing job with all the locks can't talk highly enough about these guys, told me what to purchase, and did some repairs at hardly any cost to the door jam. I strongly recommend these guys and will keep them on speed dial for any lock issues.

Think the reviews - those guys are the real deal. Smart, funny, affectionate and. . .oh yeah. . .they do work! They actually make everything simpler than it was before anything was broken, determine the most acceptable choice to solve a issue and come when they say that they will. They are only pleasant people who are incredibly skilled in their craft. Just wow!!

Fine that there are still honest people out there! Our renters' keys kept getting stuck in the lock and we believed we had a cylinder. Turns out all it had was a oil! Gerry was professional, prompt, and so fine. We could have easily been charged for something we didn't want, but not with this corporation. Can call them with any demands in the future!

I had a lock which was sticking (key wouldn't fit into the lock consistently). Gerry came , took a fast look, sprayed on some WD40, and the issue was fixed. No cost. Actually appreciate ethics and his honesty.
It's worth nothing that he was recommended to me by Commonwealth Lock Company who I first called for help.

Who knew locating a locksmith could be quite so difficult?? I'd called around to find a company which would re-key the locks at our new house and ended up speaking to a fake company which (fortunately ) ended up blowing me off. BEWARE OF LOCKSMITH SCAMS!!! Apparently there are plenty of fake firms out there trying to earn cash from people along with the one that I talked to has been Middlesex Lock and Key. They do not exist, be cautious! I ended up quitting in to the True Value in Wilmington looking for advice and the owner recommended Sir Locks a Lot.
He was very pleasant and I talked on the telephone to Gerry and told me exactly what he can do and just how much it'd cost. He even told me what to get at Home Depot to save some cash. When he came out to my house he came along with his son and both immediately got to work. They re-keyed a 3rd for under $100 and replaced 2 sets of locks plus it look less than an hour. He has been professional and very friendly and has more than 20 years experience.
