Came here for some duplicates of keys. I created 4 copies and it cost me somewhere around $8.50.
The guy that helped me was fine and fast, I was in an out within 5 minutes. But there was an elderly gentleman who was extremely grouchy and impolite, when he was asked questions. On the point where it made me feel uncomfortable. Perhaps he was having a lousy day, but either way it is not the customers fault.
They're located in this roundabout area that is bizarre it's a bit confusing but there's a big sign.
Now a company car from this business followed me. Entering the on ramp on the 237 in 60miles per hour (I had lots if time ti accelerate to 65) (using a toddler at the car) the guy was gesturing with his hands for me to hurry up and crossed doubles lines to move around me. He was unsafely near the trunk if my vehicle.
An dangerous and arrogant thing to do. What a terrible respresentative for a organization.
Well, was believing to speed 4 stars, after I have my bill for tiny 3? Home Depot makes them so stated place SVL 1.20 $ they didn't all have duplicates sold out! If u do not worry about cost and support is good with you SVL place right for u guys!!!
They take a massive selection of keys that are blank. Home Depot and Lowes were not able copy my key but Silicon Valley Lockmasters managed to!
I would definitely use them again!
Copies of my keys left here lately. I was greeted immediately upon entering the shop.
The Apple Maps gps may send one to the plaza just before their shop so keep an eye out. It can be hard to see one of the 10 other shop signs although they have a hint.
There was a wait because someone was getting their keys duplicated as well. (He made a lot for him). He left my keys in under a minute. That I was amazed. I thought it had been take much longer. He was wonderful!
Exceptional service by tech Tyler R. Experience from start to end was so exceptional, price very reasonable when compared with the competition. Very trustworthy crew. Thank you!
1 star for wanting... We phoned them to have our HR door opened. My business HR accidentally locked themselves. We called because we have used them before. We're deciding if we need to just break the lock and replace it ourselves to save on costs while we waited for the locksmith. Our maintenance guy had come to split it. Still HR desired to simply have it open.... Well silicon valley locksmith could not open it. So he just drilled it open... We moved out to buy new lock and installed it ourselves. Only got the invoice from locksmith... $137 for not being able to do their job! ! I am in the wrong business here! You do not have to be a specialist to be a locksmith. All you need is a drill...
Had a serious problem and had to receive my protected opened. A few and called many locksmith said would need to crowbar and ruin it. I went here and they originally said the same. Went after the job was completed to locate my protected with keypad fixed and also an extra key made the keypad was broken and of that I had misplaced. I was amazed that it was cheap in cost and enlightened. Definitely skilled and a boon.
Have been going there for many years. Constantly find them to be friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our Primus keys. They suggested different things for us to attempt and have been understanding. Highly recommend them.
I moved into the place to acquire a couple keys copied. A guy was ahead of me, and that he was having this discussion about automobiles with the guy behind the counter. Actually, he was getting advice on his own car, how to repair it etc.. I reshifted my place many times, tried to find eye contact, but nothing worked. Completely ignored me the entire time, then, another guy walks in, and I feel that the wait is finally over, but he jumps into the conversation and I am to every one of them like air. Wow, this is a brand new level of rudeness. I waited to see how far it would go, although several times walked out along the wait. Finally, the customer was done with this dialog and left the store, but it was about 10 minutes. I still will never return to this location, if Silicon is the last place in the world that copies keys. I expect you'll go elsewhere with your business. They are really jerks of the worst type.
The great thing about Yelp is that it's fun is that the fact that individuals get to produce restaurants and businesses accountable to the people. Chefs, waiters, and owners of restaurants need to keep their game up if they need people to return to their own location.
For being an outstanding citizen for alerting them of a burglary someone ranked them, but I'd rate them 0-stars for placing my life in danger.
I was driving home in my mother's home. When a big white van sped up behind me, I had been on the freeway between 11PM and 12AM. They came in a foot of touching my vehicle or two, and this was 60MPH. I needed to hit the accelerator and swerve for fear of my life. The side of the truck reads: Silicon Valley Lockmasters.
Gotten my key duplicated, but or never been to a locksmith was fine and not frightening looking. Copying a key is a lot cheaper and faster (30 seconds) than I believed. I saw a hint about pricing and recognized that it was not necessarily $2.49 so that they have to've increased the price. I also purchased a padlock for $6.49 so that which after tax was a Little over $10. It is next to this cat grooming and abbott auto care. I really can't say much. They do have a lot of supplies for all sorts of stuff that is essential and locks.
I had an antique key duplicated at Silicon Valley Lockmasters. Tim did an superb job at cutting this key he ordered. The job was done in an expedient and professional manner. I have had similar experiences previously with Dean's crew. I'd recommend them to anyone with Locksmith requirements.
Case and point, I got a pair of keys that they said must be easy to duplicate. It was copied by them, however, the copies didn't do the job. If they have it right the first time they will redo it at no cost, but I have to return and do it that is annoying, it would have been fine.
But they aren't perfect. The guy is knowledgeable and helpful. His sidekicks, not so much. They strike me as a bunch of something high school pupils. They defer to the guy, and also their lack of customer service type demeanor leads me to think they aren't really focused on the job at hand.
Simply put, this place has everything you want. Since I have a whole lot of cupboards and lockers for my tools, I use them for work. They can even order stuff and they can make all sorts of keys and create keys dependent on the Make of the tool cabinet and the number that is lock.
I really like Silicon Valley Lockmasters they can be to me the best locksmiths in the planet lol and they make me wish to work hard to be just like them buddies that are good much like to Howard Dean and his family along with they're like my mentors.

I'll use them for additional work.
Customer support: friendly and good.
I had a set of keys made.
Thank you Yelpers!
As I walked into the door, I was helped by somebody, and immediately made a set of keys up.
Have you got a secret duplicated? Well, do not waste your own time and simply go to the professionals that actually pride themselves on their concentrated type of business.
They have a wide range of personalities with their own individual expertise. Some are learning the ways, but this would be the location to gain experience and your knowledge. As a customer. Information won't be held back by them.
Your business is their job, and that's the real key to unlocking satisfaction.
Your uneducated questions will be tolerated by them, and try to assist you. Unless you bring it in, even if it means they need you to go get serial # 's or images of the item that you want to replace. Their price is totally reasonable, and their work is worth your pennies.
Sure you might discover the kid who got hired in Home Depot to be quite good in it, however, the chance that it doesn't work isn't worth the time when you truly have a business such as"Silicon Valley Lock Experts"
I work at a commercial construction/maintenance business, and use all time to patience, expertise, and there service when it has to do with keys, locks, handles, door closures, re-keying locks onsite. Name it.
Well, I got a couple of keys today created here. A gentleman named today Dean made me keys, and all of them work! I had 3 motorcycle keys (two Suzuki and 1 Kawasaki) and 3 home keys created.
The price is great, each was around $2 to $4, and the other associates at the shop were also very professional and considerate.
The shop has many different services, keys, locks, and goods that are safe --from what I could tell, they look. I'd come back to them for all lock needs and my key.
I'd say these guys are fantastic! Very fast service and they don't charge up the butt like other locksmith do.
Very knowledge, fantastic customer support, not over pride, honest men that are fantastic!!
