The locksmith of billy is a family run enterprise that is superb. I work on the phases nearby and we utilize Billy for key needs and any lock. Not only does he and his team get the job done in a professional manner that is timely, they do it with a grin on their face.
When we needed a lock substituted to get our parking lot for an electric gate, Billy needed a man out there on short notice. He took the time to fix it as though it was new but also made sure others and myself confirmed before leaving what was functioning. That is the quality service their team supplies.

Called and spoke to Craig after trying to open entrance door to flat, and door handle did not budge, lock turned wouldn't open. Craig talked me turning to where it stopped and would not open, he said turn it I said turn it again? He said no, keep turningguess what? It started, and that which I mutter to everybody else, I can say to myself,"You Idiot! ." I typically have the self-lock button turned off, and had pushed it I had no memory that it worked somewhat differently, and Billy's Craig spared me from going from an idiot to a super idiot if he had delivered a lock smith to open up the door. Thank you!
Fast very helpful, and reasonably priced. Nearly got scammed by a different location so that I was grateful for their transparency and walking me through it! Would highly recommend.
The door shuts behind me then while I checked the car seat in the hall. There I stand with my 1 year old and secrets. I am taken over by panic. I predict Billy's and they calmly walk through techniques to get in myself while they ship for their team. Enters Craig who comes to the rescue and has me reunited with my baby in minutes. Craig was patient, polite and kind. His calm demeanor set me at ease. A super hero! My own families life super hero. 5 Stars! AMAZING!
I got several sets of keys made and went into the shop. The keys were made in moments and obtained a cost. I highly recommend Billy's and will use him again if need be.
Billy's came highly recommended to be and I'm happy it was! I recently moved to Brooklyn. Get an additional one installed and I wanted to change the lock that was old. The gentleman out of Billy's was very honest and arrived. Though the changing of the dead bolt lock and the lock costed approximately $250, it had been well worth the investment. He was able to give me key for the two locks. In addition, he gave me some helpful hints. He was professional and kind. The job was completed professionally and quickly.
These guys are fantastic. No more BS whatsoever. Let us just say there is little chance that anyone wishes to ever call a locksmith. I returned to my flat from a great Xmas from Philly, only to realize that I had left my flat keys. . .cue the yelling tempers and holiday cheer. I guessed a locksmith could be less expensive than family treatment. I predicted a number before Billy's and they had been ridiculous. Always get a second opinion...I had somebody on the line immediately, they had been kind, adapting and the prices were, (and I'm no expert. .) Nevertheless, they were exactly what they should be. Anothony was my flat in half an hour and was an absolute godsend. He had a calming nature . He did the task very quickly and I did not feel bad about handing over money since he did a job well done and that he deserved it. Glad to know that in this era, there are some mom & pop stores in williamsburg/greenpoint. I will rest easy knowing they are there for when I need em, while I hope not to need their support anytime soon. Thanks for a job well done!

Finbar arrived and was fantastic; he had been very patient and explained things well. He advised me on how to install something on the bottom of the door to stop the existing gap up and tightened up the door jambs.
They were so helpful. Polite and professional on the phone, and they didn't attempt to"up sell" me on anything.
Sometimes you want exactly what you request. All I wanted was to receive my top security locks re-keyed, but other locksmiths I phoned for a quote insisted on replacing my locks (which on the low end would have cost me twice ). These men gave me a quotation for what I had a locksmith on location and asked. Quick, friendly and professional! Definitely recommend.
I am presently dogsitting in Williamsburg, and? I LOCK MYSELF OUT. I gave billy's a telephone, and they shipped out Anthony and Finnbar. Fantastic guys, super friendly, and well prepared. The door/locks were much near-impossible and complete proof for any robber to get in, but these guys made sure I attempted every possible thing to make sure it wouldn't cost me a buttload of money and got with no harm. They also didn't make me feel like a complete idiot for locking out myself (which I've had not-so-friendly locksmiths do earlier ). Knowing how I'm (absent minded and also a basket case), this probably won't be the final time I lock myself out, but I'll make certain to call these guys if I do. It's wonderful to know that there are nice guys like Finnbar and Anthony working in a business in this neighborhood that is rapidly changing. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Discriminatory place. When we needed help they were laughing at us. We waited for them anyhow and they never showed up. They so are condescending towards people of colour and assert. These reviews must be fake because this isn't the first time that I've heard of these being unhelpful and racist towards individuals. Steer clear of this place since there are many friendly areas and much more economical.
Beyond rude!!! to say the least. I went there to replicate keys and all I had was 6 keys. My total was 9.50 and their credit card minimum was 10. Really for .50 you lose a client? They said I buy something else or they could bill me .50 extra. I advised them to give my key back and they said do not allow the door hit you in the ass! I never anticipated this and they looked like a store. Bye!!! Second time I pass by I will give them 50 cents as a charity since it feels like they need it badly!
Once I was on my way to 15, I got locked out of my flat. I took my information down, called Billy's up and was at my location in 20 minutes. Eddie was the locksmith who helped me out. He was professional and open my apartment door in under 10 minutes! Thanks so much!

PRO-FESS-ION-ALS!!!!!All these dudes are all all. My landlord that is lower drunk had the key to our building and not one of our keys worked. They diagnosed the situation and I took it in and custom-ground a bespoke key to repair the issue and it CHANGED MY DAMN LIFE! Additionally, I managed to explain so we can get all the other ones cut right what was incorrect to my landlord.

He smugly said NO, when I called to inform the proprietor it took just 20 minutes and inquired if he could be a little more cost sensitive. He could care less about taking advantage of the elderly. I'll tell anybody that will listen, assess your pockets when coping with this man.
What a rip off place! Now they charged an 86 year old elderly lady an exorbitant quantity of money to just change a battery within her secure (she previously bought from them). Btw: she had him change all the locks to her aggressively....so she's a fantastic loyal customer.
These guys were amazing. Craig was so patient and helpful, effective, and sort. And Billy was amazing to send a person my way. Could not recommend them enough.
