This store in the heart of Riverdale, is a rare gem. Reliable, helpful and courteous. I had a new key for a classic (30years) but sturdy 4 drawer file cabinet. Thought I would need to spend a good deal of money getting a new lock installed, however, I was informed by Josh they could make a key by the code on the lock which was already on the file cabinet. Sure enough in two days time I had a key that worked fine and at a amazingly reasonable price. They're all for the customer. In the event that you can, get there!

Larry the locksmith arrived highly recommended. Needed my upper lock replaced and the lower lock realigned. Their rates are reasonable and the workmanship is top notch. Jaime did an outstanding job. Excellent customer service.

It needed to be done regardless, although I'm upset with myself for taking so long to review. This company is the tops! Part of my sorrow within waiting so long is that I've forgotten the names of the amazing people who helped me. I believe the person I talked to was Joe? Mark? I'm kicking myself! He is a really helpful guy. We dropped the key to our car and the only way we could open it was by the key fob because the doorway was not opening up. I figured I went about searching for a locksmith which could cut on an all key and the back up key I'd was wrong. Around searching for a company I believed I could hope to not tear me off because 20, I called all our family is living from one salary. Admittedly, this firm didn't provide me for what I asked for the very best rate, but I liked the sound of this guy who had been helping me so I called him back. Poor guy must have been on the phone with me half a dozen times answering all of my questions with the patience every time. Finally, we got to talking about the scenario I had been in and he told me that I had the appropriate key for the car, but it may be just for the ignition. He then problem solved and told me it was worth a shot to have a tech unlock my door and reprogram a new fob and my key would function from the ignition. All of this service is a fraction of the purchase price about. His honesty is priceless. Really if pay a bit extra than their opponents and also I needed to get a cut from scratch, I would have chose this company because of the service and focus. I wish him and his staff and can't thank him all the victory! Looking at other reviews I'm pretty confident Jamie helped me reprogram a new fob and get into my car. He had been exceptional, such a pleasant , down to earth man. At one stage a guy off the street came up to us and started to say,"you know what the trick is..." until Jamie patiently pointed to his shirt which read: Larry the Locksmith. The man then realized he had been talking to some professional and gave him a hearty handshake, it was so jovial I asked Jamie if he understood himwhich he didn't. I told him he asked me why I chose them and I called around ten or so locksmiths after he helped me out. I told him, it was because I felt like I could trust them and the look on his face wasn't heart warming. It is wonderful to be in a community where there are people such as him taking pride in their work. After I tipped him, and he was absolutely grateful. ALWAYS TIP THESE GOOD PEOPLE!! They deserve it.

Jamie, the young guy that came into my home missed his calling. He must be a physician rather than a locksmith with this bedside manner he's. He explained what did his thing and had to be performed. He is. I will be needing a door lock replaced in the near future and I know who I will be calling. You can not go wrong, if all the locksmiths @ Larry's are as good as Jamie!

Larry the Locksmith is your neighborhood store that your parents took you to when you're young. Whatever you require, they've got it. The sales people are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I find myself stopping once or twice a week to get some item. One day I went because I needed a grapefruit knife and a Bundt pan. Obviously they'd both! My high end medco lock have transferred . Before my most recent move, I asked if I should just leave the lock and purchase a new one. They stated moving it would be cheaper. They're honest and trustworthy. Larry the Locksmith is a rare treasure in our huge box world. If you have never been, go! You will see something you didn't even know you needed!

I called in advance to set up an appointment to get my own shift that was locked about the co-op I just purchased. Jacob came out today to change my locks out (that had been drilled out) & known as 1/2 hour before coming. After the lock was looked at by him he realized I had asked for the wrong thing. I had requested to be changed & I needed the full deadlock for the lock. He, be ready, had everything I needed. Jacob went directly to work, installing both the underside lock cylinder & the deadlock. He keyed them to a single key at my request & was completed in one hour. Fast, polite, knowledgeable & efficient! Should I ever be locked out or lose my secrets, he's who I will call for me back into!

I have shopped in the store, and it is nice to speak with sales people who are knowledgable about the products they market. The guy who helped me told me I can resolve the problem. He was not all sales-y about it.

My spouse and I had to go here, back in May of 2012, to seek help for brackets to our AC. They saved us money and informed us that our Super really does it, although they could have sold us stuff and put in it to us. Instead of taking us for a ride, they looked out for us. My spouse and I've been clients ever since that time.
The associates there are not pushy, friendly, and very knowledgeable . For a small store, they have as much stuff. My spouse and I certainly recommend this place.

The locksmith, Jaime, managed to come back early for our appointment. He was quick and friendly. He made sure we understood all of the costs and was great about explaining our options.

My Medeco lock n't worked. It had been such a model that is good, that they don't make it . Jaime has been polite and efficient, and fixed the issue. He cleaned up with dust bin and his duster. I had previously used another company, but I am!

I suggest this locksmith. Their receptionist was very helpful, well informed and answered all questions. The locksmiths arrived in time and called before arriving. One of the locksmiths was a craftsman. He was educated and arrived prepared for my needs. Another locksmith was just as capable. Both made sure they tested the locks before insured and leaving that I was familiar with all facets. Superb job.

Based on testimonials, I contacted this company. I was pleased with the services I received starting with the lady who provided telephone customer support and tips on how best to fix the issue with my lock into the site service provided by Joe, the locksmith. I would not ise them but recommend this company for my friends and acquaintances.

Review of the store, rather than the services offered. When they walk in, friendly staff greet customers. Helpful in finding things, tons of household items that were ordinary and I have been lots of times for odds and ends. Rates are great. Keys duplicated are performed well with attention to detail and function like a charm.

I phoned Larry the Locksmith based upon the reviews I read in Yelp! I was hardly disappointed. Jamie installed and eliminated and came two lock cylinders. He was educated and friendly. He handled the work professionally and he clarified the performance of the lock, on maintaining the premises secure, hints the work done and the warranty. The whole experience was so refreshing compared to encounters I had had with a different neighborhood locksmith. Thank you very much!
