Joey came right away and put to get me into my apartment and got the key out!! Yet another $240 could of been charged but it had been just the ceremony fee, because he put in the effort along with the lock out charge complete $140 saving me $100!! He put me at ease and was super nice! Definitely reccomend!

Do not use Allstar Locksmith. They'll do a bait and switch to you as they did me - once you go to cover, say that it is much more, estimate one price and then.

Can not recommend this place enough! I had been locked on a weekend and Joe came within 5 minutes! He had been kind and was able to let me in quickly for a very reasonable price. Thank goodness for Allstar Locksmith!

They came to my apartment within half an hour of my phone to get a lock outside. Al was friendly competent & very professional. I appreciate people that are kind, and he certainly was. He taught me how to have a fix if I am ever locked and how to use it and gave me a new lock. Great service. Thank you!

Allstar and I visited again to get yet another set of keys made, such as a new Mul-T-Lock safety key. (Our landlords lost the mix donkey's years ago, making it nearly impossible to replicate the Mul-T-Lock keys.) His wife was there and recommended I call him, although joe wasn't at the store. So I did, and Joe asked me to text a couple of closeup pictures of the Mul-T-Lock key.

Joe's at making the Mul-T-Lock secrets by sight, so incredible, he was able to tell the mix. He texted Victoria the code, who was able to produce the key for me on the spot. Took it home, and it worked flawlessly after oiling the secret!

I tried to take it back, As soon as I understood the torch didn't self-ignite, about a week after I purchased it . It wouldn't be taken by them. Not for money. The reason they gave for refusing to do anything was"it's too old". When it had been too old to take back, it had been too old to market. That is totally unacceptable (and of course self-defeating) business training, and has been for quite a while.
I shopped here for quite a while, probably came in after a month for a year. It's an okay shop. They don't stock modern supplies or stuff. You'll come across a plumbing torch that doesn't self-ignite, T12 bulbs that are old, and most recently, generic drill bits.
If you're searching for something that's out of creation you might have to go here, but otherwise, I would steer clear.

The next day my super affirmed that I was torn off--that the lock was not"too secure." I had to get the lock replaced. A waste.
I returned to my flat in 11:45 PM to discover I was locked out--that the person together with my spare keys was out of town. Allstar was called by me because it was the locksmith and the reviews were great. I was told by the person on the telephone it would be $40 plus no matter what the technician charged. I agreed. 30 minutes later the so-called"tech" showed up (some guy with a 213 area code--avoid this guy!) He told me he could try to select the lock, and if that didn't work he'd replace it. I tried to protest but he wouldn't budge. Given that I needed to get in my flat, and how late it was, I caved. He spent about two minutes choosing the lock and he explained it was"too secure" to be chosen and that I had to have off it. What can I do? After he drilled off it he tried to upsell me with another lock. He proceeded to continue to attempt to upsell me stating that my door wouldn't be secure for the night and when anything occurs in the middle of night that I could call him. I paid as I could get him out of there.
I do not enjoy writing such negative reviews, but my experience using this locksmith necessitates it. These swindlers set me. I have also confirmed they pulled the wool over my eyes and took advantage of my being locked out of my apartment. I would avoid them all prices. Details below.

Christopher was kind, professional, comprehensive, quick, polite and reassuring. Got locked out and he came immediately and fixed the situation. Expensive; can find services that are comparable . Bonus points: Christopher was appropriate in both his manner and distance - that I could tell he was being mindful to not make me uneasy as a woman by herself with an unknown guy. Was funny and positive and helped create the most out of a situation. Best believe it had been appreciated - thank you Christopher!

Joey was amazing! He came the following day to change our locks and responded to my emails immediately. All was economical and very simple.

These guys responded immediately at when our flat door lock has been stuck. Very polite, helpful and reassuring. Extremely reasonable and acceptable rates. Do not hesitate to call these guys if you are locked out.

When 3 locksmiths would reply, joe is a saint of a man, he arrived in 5 minute. Robbers broke into our flat door and we could not wait, so thank you a lot joe!

I arrived to return it and bought a product that was defective here. Their return policy says merchandise can be returned within seven days. They refused to let me return it and began yelling. This is a dreadful experience but also is prohibited in nyc!

I found out there was a spare key seconds before the serviceman was to perform $400 value of lock drilling and replacement (unclear if this comprised the ceremony and preliminary lock picking fees). Still had to pay $100 ($125 if it was not in money ) for support ($45), and preliminary lock picking ($80). The guy they sent to operate in my lock told me"we are actually more expensive than a lot of the additional lock smiths around."

This place is NOT available 24 hours. I realize the support is being referred to by those hours, but it's misleading. The hardware shop is of course 24 hours a day. It will be nice to be able to see the hardware shop hours here.

Customer service that is terrrrrrrrrrible -I went back to my house to try the keys out again, and it didn't work.
I had to go BACK and also the lady refuses to help me and alter her mindset - so that the manager comes out. He had been nicer about it, as I'd like, but he wasn't as friendly.

I will most likely never go. The key finally worked - I mostly had a problem with the lady's attitude. She began getting feisty. For me, the customer service is as important, or even more. Then I really don't need to return if you're going to have a really poor attitude working together with me.
I went to get a copy of my primary, and after they"fixed" the first one, it did not work. I simply wanted an explanation - and the woman at the front desk starts getting upset with me and saying that it was not her fault. She said if I say that the key does not do the job I am mistaken.

Honestly this company is a lifesaver. We got home tonight at 3 a.m. simply to discover our dog sitter for the afternoon had locked us out. We called someone and this organization showed up in 20 minutes. Was the definition of cool, calm, and collected. He opened the door without even having to run it. Our dog inside barked the whole time and jumped on him out of enthusiasm when he started it and he did not seem startled in the least. This process was quick and painless. It is now 4:03 a.m. and I just had to write this review as soon as they left because I felt they were so great they deserved the review right away. Would recommend this business!!!

are very nice. They have a good source of general hardware considering that the shop is small. Their prices are 50% higher than other areas in the neighborhood. They can create the keys and have a lock.

Because I was locked out of my apt, called all celebrity,they arrived promptly and was very polite and explained everything to me from beginning to end. I would certainly use them again. They made me extra keys for me. Thank you star keep up the fantastic work!
