24 Hour Locksmith

Typically my experience with locksmiths in NYC has been very poor. There's no one accessible assist and to come or they take about 2 hours to arrive and charge an arm and a leg.
Wednesday night , I had a locksmith at 2am for an emergency situation. I was surprised while the dispatcher at 24 Hour Locksmith explained it would take about 20 minutes for the locksmith to arrive, and even more happy and relieved after that turned out to be authentic.
Our locksmith persevered good-naturedly throughout our lock fix situation and the prices for of the work were reasonable. I am impressed and so grateful and will absolutely be calling back for locksmith work we want done that is not an emergency situation.

Way overpriced,horrible scam-like business practices, stated it would be $29 plus labour on line and when I called. . .tech comes out, then after two minutes that he popped it open. Then tells gon na $128 to me and says thats not him up that what they tell him the cost is, then spoke to a manager who told me the opposite that the techs put their prices. . .and other than that has been not any help at all. Basically got the run. If I had the money that is expendable they would be getting sued. In addition to that it took them 30 minutes to run my own debt card. . .that took more than simply popping the lock....Please do yourself a favor, save the headache and appear elsewhere.

I called and had been quoted $120 for them to come together with re programming a secret that I explained my lock was missing and that is the problem out. My appoint was at 5 which I made around 1 pm. Advised the bc he called and didn't leave a message he assumed I canceled. Was told he would call me (locksmith) thirty minutes later he calls asking how am I. Spoke to manager stated he'd be on his way. Locksmith called saying he charges $29 when I don't want their service but the price quoted could be once he gets and appears at my bc he stated he would need to make me an entire new key. SCAM. DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE

This place sucks. Charged me outrageous prices to break in my flat for me (something like $300 to get in and $140 to replace the air ). Would not have used them if they didnt pay for sponsored ads on Google / were the very first thing to appear.

No I'm not a rival and I hadn't updated my location into New York because I had just moved. I run a tech startup and have nothing to do with all the locksmith business. STAY AWAY. These men don't have any integrity as you can see in the lie introduced in reaction to my review and are scam artists.

This place is stunningly BAD. Not only did they take my cash on credit card and NOT make the repair properly, but when I phoned and asked them to go back to the location because the locks still weren't functioning, they lied and said someone would stand out there and nobody showed up. Go home and people necessary to lock up but couldn't. I was oblivious to all night long and in the time of this writing, I still don't have satisfaction. I'll devote my entire life to making sure NO ONE utilizes these idiots!

There locksmiths about --do not destroy your day dealing with these people.
The technician refused to have a look at the website. He repeatedly made sarcastic comments towards me such as"Um, we are not T-Mobile, we do not do'deals'" etc etc.. He just kept saying I had to pay him anything he decided, and refused to look me in the eye. He kept changing his story saying there was no advertising stating it was not great on this particular date, then stating he contained it . When I inquired what the entire price of this service was going to be with taxation, he said"You understand what NY tax is? You compute it". .
One of their technicians arrived at our apartment--I understand it had been 24 Hour Locksmith b/c he composed it on the cover of the receipt, even though they were sent to us by a routing service (locksmithconnections.com). My mum opened the door since I had been in the bathroom, '' he quoted him a price ($175, much more than that which they represented on the phone), then proceeded to get his stuff. I came out and stated there was a 15% bargain off all services on their website (it had been on the website of the service which sent him to us) and he denied it and stated that my boyfriend had agreed to a price. My boyfriend said then we can show it to him on line and he'd advised the woman on the phone he had been using it although that yes he'd forgotten to mention that the voucher.
They confirmed there was a voucher and I finally called the service and apologized to me personally. They advised him concerning the voucher and got on the telephone, and he started saying and arguing he is not honoring it. When that fails, he starts saying the dispatcher 25 days there was no marketing and it was contained by him -- after telling me. My softy boyfriend had awarded him a charge card to pay with so he started charging us whatever price he'd determined on while I was on the telephone. I continued to insist he had been in the wrong, and FINALLY, he yelled at me that I was a crazy person for arguing with him over such a little bit of money (it was not that small but, let's face it, is not actually the point when someone's lying to a face). Eventually he gave us something like an 8 percent reduction and leftbut not before telling me , although he knew it was illegal, nobody"ever goes to court on these matters"--I suppose that is why he felt liberated to attempt to cheat us out of money.

I was quoted on the phone in a fundamental $50 to get a simple job. The guy came and told me $180 in the door, as a result of my 'rare'. I said when he got it open fast, as it was midnight I would pay $100. He simply slid a piece of cardboard between the lock and my door asked for his $100. Literally took him 10 minutes.
I saw that they're a 5 minute car ride when I looked up their speech.
The guy claimed that when he got a ticket for parking in front of a fire hydrant, I would need to cover that also.
100% scam occupation had me bent over. Took advantage. Unethical and deserve to be called out.
I lack the desire to speed a company, but this experience was so poor, I signed up only to save anyone else .

This place is a scam operation that is huge! Not one of the other area locksmiths were available at the time. Long story short they quoted me and needed $150 for a selection that was simple if they got here! I advised him to go scrape. . He said I asked on the telephone for a lock switch. He's a liar!! Can I misrepresent what I wanted? Seriously. Beware

If you want to be lied to and pay a premium, use this company, otherwise do not use this company...
Can not emphasize. They quote you price on the phone and then they quote you something 22, if they reach your house. This guy refused to leave our stairwell to our apartment and said he'd call the cops when we didn't pay him a minimum of a $65.00 for the support fee or whatever. We told him that there were surveillance cameras anywhere in our apartment complex and simply left him in the stairwell by himself in which he left ten minutes afterwards. No cops ever came...

This Israeli-run firm is a scam that is massive. They'll try to make the cost as high as possible. Prices over the telephone are completely meaningless. They give you a bare bones cost on the telephone and quotes aren't free. They charge $19 just to come down and give an estimate to try to make you feel like you should just pay for the rest of the service so that you're not wasting $19. SCAM! I had a job that was little 20 and was quoted $40 in total the man asked for $130. I bargained him down to $100. I can't emphasize enough, do not conduct business with this"company."

While walking my dog I dropped my keys in Central Park. I didn't realize it until after I got back to my apartment. There was A snow storm beginning quickly and my mobile phone was in my apartment. I had no way to get inside with my dog. I moved across the road and used a mobile phone dialed 411 and asked for any locksmith. I have connected to 24 hour locksmith. I waited approx. 45 minutes, he showed up in an automobile, drilled in my lock and set up a brand new lock within half an hour. He charged me $380.00!!!!!!!!!! Did I say okay? No- I said it was too expensive! SO, what was I going to do? I had my large puppy, nowhere to become warm, no way to call friends or family. After he robbed me 380.00 and abandoned, I called three other locksmith firms who gave me quotes between $200 and $130 complete for the specific same job. I am attempting to fight it - but they don't care and aren't offering any refund of cash.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - particularly if you are in dire need of aid and are a woman - THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. It is a SCAM!!!

While I was away for the weekend, my spouse locked her self from the home. She called the 24 hr locksmith she discovered for mineola ny. She requested him to open the door for her, he replied it would have to be drilled. I understand a locksmith that could have chosen it. After she asked to leave off the new lock after he drilled it, he reacted it is exactly the identical price with or without the new lock. Overall price 179.00. With 2 young children and locked out my spouse had no choice. She knows not to call the 24 hour locksmith to get mineola ny. . Don't be duped by there 15 dollar charge and then they send someone who says that he can't pick the lock. I'll also file a complaint with the BBB site for good measure. You ought to be ashamed of making the most of a person locked from there home. Rest assured you won't ever make another buck off of us or our neighbors and friends we tell.
