I'll definitely be coming here again when I have any difficulties!
I am so glad that I found this place! I needed to earn a set of keys for myself, after trying and failing twice with Orchard Supply (their primary device is useless and makes dreadful keys which only work if you jiggle them into your lock), and also attempting to visit another place which was actually closed when they stated they were assumed to be open, because of"short employees"...
Well, Allied came to my rescue by making my keys lickity-split (seriously quicker than the crucial machines at Orchard), also with no difficulties. The guy who assisted me was really friendly and he understood precisely what he do.

As soon as I got there, the guy have a look at my key and was doubtful that it had a transponder because the head was bigger than normal. Two of them have involved flipping through a book and assessing some database to find the facts, explaining that it depended upon what state the car was created in. They finally confirmed it then cut my crucial and did not have a transponder. It was fast. Didn't spend more than 10 minutes in there. Paid $5.95, which may be on the top end of this scale? But after moving to places that could not even cut my crucial at all, I wasn't gonna whine. The vital works good, so consider me a customer!
So it was time to find another 20, I've locked my keys in my car one too many times. I had gone into Home Depot and Ace Hardware to find a cut, and have a 2007 Kia, but both areas couldn't locate a match for my own key! Blah. I called Allied Lock & Safe and they affirmed my Kia key could cut if it did not have a transponder. I didn't believe my key had a transponder, and so I said ok, be there right away!

Allied Lock & Safe is no longer in business. When their place couldn't be found by me, I called the contact number and was advised the other locksmith at Fremont had acquired their own telephone numbers and they had gone broke.

Customer Support - usually 5 stars BUT in my past experience 1-2 stars
This location has always been great and really understand what they are doing. I was a little disappointed if there was a bit of confusion. Mind you, I requested two prior to utilizing and buying it, prior to making my service call appointment, said it two times, two times again after the locksmith came and again when it came time to cover. They explained they had no knowledge of this deal, they then argued that it was died (I bought it the evening before and it was valid for a year) then attempted to assert that it was for online purchases only. It was uncomfortable going forth and back with the company owner and the locksmith. Furthermore, it was frustrating when I had to point out that the fine print invalidated every excuse that they attempted to use. So...

Th SECON TIME, I mistakenly locked my keys in the workplace and so I called and inquired if I can pick up a copy of the key from their shop (because I have before.) The old guy Bill said it would be $95 to send someone over. I then told him I didn't need anybody, I just wanted to pick a copy up. He says I can't pick it. My buddy had to call so that I can get a copy. He then took 15 minutes to make ONE KEY! Oh wait, he filled out a receipt paper.
There's NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!
As soon as I say the construction I had been there for one of those works says"Oh your the one who left the voicemail?
Since they're closed I went back to get the pair of Keys. Even I was so angry the time, I didn't bother to mention anything. I wanted my Keys and that's it!
He didn't bother to phone me back?! and got my voicemail It had been in the middle of the day!! I advised him their window says they close at 2pm. Why does it say they closed at two!! It was horrible, rather than being apologetic about not being receptive during their operating hours, he had been rude & didn't quit talking bout it. I only got my keys and left.
That is I wouldn't recommend coming here!
The next day comes and I arrive in NO ONE & 1:19 IS THERE!! I call and no one answers, so that I left a voicemail. I was I literally had to cancel dropped $ GOOD!!
My buddy called told them we needed a key and that I would be to pick them up. He appeared polite and said no problem they close at 2pm.
The worst customer service !!
This company is the locksmith for the office building I work at, so sadly I have to use them.

I called this morning to arrange same day service.
Bill proved to be useful. I told him I'd taken the day off to resolve this problem and he was able to work my to the schedule. Kai arrived on time and has been really helpful and knowledgeable. I will continue to do so and have used this service before. Rates are less than other regional service (I checked) and above all, they DELIVERED! Professional, prompt and competitively priced. What more could you desire?

There is no twisting or torquing of this key even when opening the rigid 23 locking mechanism of the car. Fantastic high quality keys, fast support - spent all of 5 minutes at the store and I will bring the keys back for filing and adjustment if they don't function (the automobile wasn't with me at the time) but of course that the keys were perfect.
I have a 1989 BMW 325i, while the battery was dead and that I nearly broke off my key trying to lock the car. This got me worried that I have just 1 door key and 1 ignition key.
I'd read that BMW blanks are tough to discover and that the dealer is the only option. I may go to the dealer and receive a BMW key based on the car's VIN but Bob at Allied put me up with 2 spares that work perfectly and feel sturdy for $5 each.

They're fast, friendly, affordable and easy to find. Bill was extremely helpful with the customer before me and it made me feel good about the trip. He's knowledgable and the rates are right!

Stuck on auto key through outside of home and home key lock inside.
Kai is really friendly and knowledgeable. I am hoping I won't lock myself outside again. Even just a little bit expensive. But I will recommend to my friend!

Came in to receive a copy of my car key created. Bill got it to work although turns out that my secret got worn down so it required a few tries to get it to work. Fantastic customer support and I would go.

Had a key broken off in my car. They were effective and fast and did it for cheap. I will not lie that they were the happiest and most favorable trio. I attempted to unveil a few smiles but they were grumpy version, just like the 3 stooges. Recommended entire:-)

My honey and I have been going to these men for 20 years for all our locks & keys. Always quick service, very pleasant guys there.

I have been pleased with the customer service within this place, Bill is a great guy he knows his job, he's productive and pretty fast.
They do have services, which is fast and handy.
I have been carrying them my business for the previous 3 years, and I really do recommend their solutions, and this place.

I called Allied Lock & Safe for a quote for my car essential, nevertheless because they were publication I was referred by them in the community. Worked out great. Its nice to see companies working together in the best interest of the public. Bravo!

Would definitely recommend them and go later on to them! Much more helpful than Ford.
Following three days of being strung together by the worthless Ford dealership (whose conclusion has been basically DERP we don't know what this really is!) , Allied solved my complicated problem in under half an hour!

This day, I phoned Allied and B. replied the telephone. I have some lock sets as the new ones have not ever functioned that I need to reinstall. Sad to say, the ones who worked fine when saved are suspended. After describing my intent to B. in regards to just 1 lock set, I asked what could be the origin of the issue. He said he can send someone to my house and they could take a peek at my lock OVER $100.00 - only to diagnose the matter. I restated the lock set is not mounted on the door. B. repeated he could send someone to my house for over $100.00! When I told B. that I could take my previous lock into his shop, he said I would need to leave it immediately and then they might give me a quotation. I'm DONE with B. Ultimately, a fresh Schlage lockset is roughly $54.00 at OSH and less at Home Depot.
My intent was to possess Allied rekey the tumblers to my older locks (which were made when they would last a couple of decades) so they will fit each one the others during the construction. I don't understand. I hope this shop will retrain B. and inspire him to think about serving the customer, rather than pillaging the spouses following infuriating them.
I have sent Allied nearly all of my business (corporate and personal) over the last ten years. Previously a gentleman explained how I could remove the tumblers into my locks and bring them into the shop to be retooled, saving me money and time. This past year B and I met with. He cut a secret that took some time, after complaining about the hours that he was scheduled to operate. The key upset a client of mine which was based at the end of a day and never worked. I expected B. was only having a terrible week.
After writing the review above, I called another locksmith that has many favorable reviews here on Yelp was visited by then. The locksmith loosened the screws which held the locksets together what do you understand the lock sets and while saved worked like new. Within an hour or so, the rated locksmith that worked retooled a set or 2 to match the rest of the sets during the building for $15 and a couple of bucks for keys that he cut.

I have always gotten excellent support and have come to Allied! Just had to place a brand new ignition cylinder and they re-keyed the new tumbler for my older keys! It is great to not have a million secrets for the vehicle! Extremely friendly and fast as always! Thanks Bill!

Kai is the nicest guy. It's damn $$$ for their services. But well when you're locked out you do not care.

Repair of this ignition on my automobile was parts arrived in punctually, and the installation was. All locks were re-keyed. Service was courteous and friendly. Much appreciated.

I return - they are not interested in ordering them, and do not have blanks for my bike. I buy the blanks myself, bring them in a week afterwards and, drumroll... the man tells me he won't cut them since he doesn't understand what metal they're made of and doesn't want to risk hurting his costly cutting piece.
I had a copy of my motorcycle key. Called them, asked if they had blanks for this , they said"come in if we do not have it we will order it".
So I get there, and without even asking me exactly what I want, the man tells me to return within an hour since they're occupied... cutting keys for customers who aren't there.
I moved to Orchard City Lock & Safe several miles away, they cut me two copies for $7
