I mean, people think when I say that I have a guy, that it's strange, but then I direct em here.
They are inexpensive, pleasant, and fast. I trust em to make my backups cause they have worked when I take them home. Plus, they conveniently located to me neighboring. Try em out in the event that you want copies!
This place has everything you want and fast, so that I counsel my friends to and get all my sets and duplicates here. Run in, copy your keys, and head out in less than 5 minutes. Exactly what do you really want?

When I arrived, I asked the guy working how long it would be to perform the key, he explained,"it is dependent on the main". He looked at it and put it in a machine that replicated it in two seconds! It was like magic!
Needed to copy keys quickly and found this location on Yelp. It was near my flat, and convenient.
All for two dollars. Definitely the fastest I have ever had keys replicated in my entire life! Definitely recommend this place for super inexpensive and quick service.

Instantaneous and always have what I need. I have gotten keys made here thru time, and had an imperfection in history, which they immediately fixed. Use them!

A-Art Locksmiths set up a door knob/lock for me personally. The locksmith Delon did the job quickly and professionally. The door to my apt. Is debatable but he is a real craftsman and is equipped with the tools. He did the job and charged me the price we'd agreed upon.
This is not the first time that I have been fulfilled and have used their services!

In case you're locked out, do not ever call here. Never been to the shop (from the rest of the reviews it appears fine) so that I can only review the man they sent to substitute my lock when I was locked outside. Like another review here, his quote was"south of $85, all-in" on the phone. When he arrived in person, that changed to $250. *After* drilling and eliminating the lock, the estimate changed and asked $500 in total. He stated $60 and the remainder was the'pricey' lock, but he wouldn't reply when I asked to get a brand/make/model of the lock to find out if I could buy it and have it installed.

Fantastic support! I made copies for my keys for $2. They work perfectly! It is so much easier than Keyme machine!

Like everybody else said. Quality service at a good price. Zero hassle. The guy does the work right and I will be back.

I do give 5 star rating, but I have to say, this is a fantastic place to go to duplicate keys. It is extremely economical about $2-3. I got my key duplicated within a minute and it works good as the one that was first! Would come here again and I'd recommend this place.

Quick and efficient. Came here to get a couple duplicate keys and they were extremely efficient. Reasonably priced for NYC and could definitely come back for future needs!

Now I can lock the door quite easily from the inside or outside (so that I get to enjoy the great work many times daily, forcing me to write this review). This would not have been the case beyond doing the work to which we had agreed ahead of 29, if Frank had not put.
I paid to get a new pick-proof cylinder for my current deadbolt (the home call was contained in the cost ). Was when Frank came misaligned my deadbolt and saw rickety. In addition to installing the cylinder that was glistening, he spent a long time realigning the deadbolt that I had not even purchased .
I adore my deadbolt that Frank put for me personally in a cylinder that is new.

Wowza. This is a no-frills type place and it is clear that the guys prefer efficacy. Be aware that there's a 10-dollar minimum for credit cards that might make it hard if you looking to replicate a couple of keys.
I arrived at the shop at 5:35pm Thursday and left with 2 sets of brand new sets of keys by... probabably... 5:42pm!
Of the reviews are 100% correct!
The shop is on the ideal side of 2nd Ave (if you are walking south), and it is a super small place!

That is about as simple a business as it is possible to see in Manhattan. You require keys that are spare, they have. It took less time to procure three keys than it did to really open their door. Friendly enough, inexpensive - what you'd want.

Locked myself out of my apartment at about 8 pm. While the man was fairly prompt (only took about 30 min to arrive) and managed to carry out the lock and replace it within about 15 min, it'd cost me $700. In all fairness, he'd tell me it'd be $275ish to get me , but wasn't aware that there would be such an mark upon the replacement lock.

Stopped into copy my key real fast. . .and, I mean, real fast. 2 minutes-$2.50.

The key will work. You are likely to have it in 90 minutes. The cost is appropriate.

For the second time in a single month, the spindle broke - a slice they're selling for $20. They did not even offer me a receipt once I asked them to get it (I wonder if they pay taxes). I walked out in disgust.
Strangely enough, this is the locksmith around here which sells spindles. What a company, selling faulty pieces! Avoid.

Says they open at 9. It is 9:20. I'm sitting her because 8:45 no one opening this location. Plus it says 24 hour locksmith service. I called when j first got here in order to confirm their hours there's not any voicemail or answering service. Not reliable and seemingly not 24 hour service or fast.

Great location. Fast service, fair prices. I had been in and out in a few minutes.

A-Art is a family-owned business (really associated with Ruzi, the shopper that was in the space next door prior to the theater was revived ) and they're just and honest.
A very long time ago I'd fixed grills and a fireman's gate made for my St. Mark's apartment; though I have since transferred, the lock on my door remains out of them. I go for them to get keys replicated; I have actually been to other locksmiths who made me! How can they live with themselves?
These men are great; no one told me before I moved I would have a favorite locksmith, however I really do and it is these guys.

Do take the time to write reviews but these men were good. Honest quote over the phone. Friendly when I called. The guy they sent was punctually. He mended a previous one which has been installed incorrectly and also put a new lock perfectly. I recommend these guys.
