Artie's Locksmith

These men did a fantastic job. Then a couple of months later when we thought the lock was broken again, they helped us realize that it was just a setting on the lock that needed to be changed and sent us photographs of how to adjust it which did the trick and also didnt charge us anything. Very helpful and nice people.

These guys are unbelievable. Fast, efficient, reasonably priced, nice men and women. Do yourself a favor and utilize them.

Fantastic customer service. Spoke it had been addressed and that the price seemed high and rectified. I received a handwritten thank you note and follow up! Super fast, efficient and friendly.

Guy was wonderful! He came fast and was knowledgeable and professional. He worked really quickly and is a hero. We had someone late at night and it was appreciated. We are forever grateful. Call this company and ask for man!

UPDATE: The business contacted me and explained that weekends are occasionally worked on by freelancers. They've rectified the overcharge. Customer service, everything considered.
The guy came in just a half an hour on a Sunday and did everything necessary (hence the excess superstar ) - drilled outside the lock, then replaced the knob, lock and housing - however VASTLY overcharged me. He explained $295 for installing the lock for drilling out a 425 and the lock. After phoning around I have been told that the lock the entire service should have cost about $300-400, and that he used prices roughly $100 complete, not close to $800. Additionally, another local locksmith said this guy isn't even licensed. He ripped me off big time.

Promises of refunds were not honored and thus this review.
This could be negative stars. I'm not certain if his job is farmed outside by Ben to independent contractors or just will not stand behind is solutions. Either way that the work was shoddy, they had been dishonest impolite, with usage, and they left us worse off than when we began.

They wasted days of our time once we had to be at work assignments by showing up late and without substances. Ben is fine about the phone but he does not follow through and so I can only think when he gets promises he is lying.
Update - I was planning to delete this inspection but it's against the Conditions of Service. Following my review we had been contact having an instant and apology, hand delivered with the Locksmith, refund from the owner of the company himself. I have changed my review from 1 to 3 stars.

The locksmith was nice, and assured me that I would not be charged by him for his service charges. He drilled the lock cylinder and replaced with the lock, all which took about 10 min, total. Somehow, despite"not charging service charges," the total arrangement came out to OVER $500, which is exorbitant and nearly extortionist.

Independently locked myself out of my flat. While on the phone they assured me that the builder could be within 15 minutes. After waiting and confusing calls forth and back and dispatch, my builder arrived nearly 45 minutes later than anticipated.

UPDATE: the owner, Josh, called me immediately upon reading my initial review to talk about the situation and figure out exactly what happened. Apparently the night they were very active and had employed an outside contractor (who will no more be contracted by these ). Josh messengered over a refund as well. I appreciate the timely manner with which he rectified the circumstance!
TL;DR: Not timely and wildly unfairly.

For NOT fixing my lock, I am really happy with Artie's. I called them because I thought I had a crisis and asked them to meet me. 20 minutes after it turned out that it was user error on my part and that I called to cancel.
A lot of locksmiths would want to charge me, since they had a guy there. From today on I will go with these guys. I love companies that recognize connections that are long are worth more than the fast buck.

Update review: josh contacted me to manage the situation, get more clarity on what happened and apologized. Regrettably that evening was super active on their end so they needed to send a contractor who going forward will no longer out he contracted to utilize them. Josh and his wife came to substitute the door knob and reimbursed me. They have been customer support. So I would recommend Artie's going forward the situation proved to be a instance.

Rom did a great job! Really nice and effective --not to mention! Super professional suggest Artie's locksmith.

Ben was a locksmith that is really beneficial. He did a fantastic job replacing our door lock which the doorway works way better today! Artie's was honest and able to work with us on a fair price for their service fitting a rival.

After dropping my key looked like highway robbery I'm not certain what fair prices are but the fee billed for a normal cylinder and drill. While the service guy was nice, he tried to discount the"high security" lock only to charge me the same amount at the end of the support for the normal lock. While they were prompt, it's hard to accept an easy mistake costed $466 for a lock that is basic plus a lockout. I feel like that I had been taken advantage of this morning, although I would have negotiated much tougher perhaps if I were frazzled.
UPDATE: I got a call from the owner Josh very first thing to fix the situation, and he did, As of 10:18 am on 1/13/18. Thank you for the call's nature and the understanding. The experience was professional, yet this time I believe that the service cost is market fair. Thanks Josh to your honesty.

For the love of God hide your key someplace or locate a friend that is good. This place is dependable, professional and will get your problem resolved. Regrettably a locksmith isn't typically called by you when you have a good deal of time or other choices. Artie's did a great job and followed up with a customer satisfaction call. I'd recommend them and will (hopefully not need to) use them later on.

Needed two keys and a canister. They showed up in a cost that was competitive in 20 minutes. Highly recommended!

Rom came to modify my door locks. He was very friendly and reliable, and explained all options and pricing to me. He also listened to my worries and proposed solutions that were helpful. He changed my locks both quietly and efficiently. I'm happy with how it went and could use Arties' services again.

From my brand new apartment, I locked myself Just like a doofus. They had been there within half an hour got me and my daughter back inside. Rohm was the nicest man on the planet, and I informed him I expected never to see him unless it was by accident, out and around, lol. Great customer service, excellent (and fast!) Service, and really fair price.
