The folks at Burdick's are super professional and nice. They were very helpful with a little problem that I needed to resolve, and I cannot wait to give them firm later on.

You get an actual person on the end who will work to acquire your alarm incorporated into any pre-wiring you may have setup, monitored with an optional personal security guard service, and integrated in your house automation program that is zwave. Do not know what that means? That will be explained by burdick also and make your life easier.
They don't make em like this anymore. These people will help and support, and automation and home security are complicated once you want to do it right you on the way.
The Burdick Security team and tim have been occupying my house alarm system for many years and their customer service is incredible.

My house came with a secure lock. I eventually got around to making a few more in June 2018. Because I moved from city, I upgraded the account with my name, land manager name, etc. I bought 5 keys that were expensive. Yayy.
Since we don't know that's the"great" key, the manager must make just two, and charges me for one. He says, you'll only have to go home and indicate the one. That he says. Never mind it is their fault to get started. Never mind how long that will take. Never mind how long I waited for them to sort out their organization, making her heels cool. YOU'RE BEING very impolite, he states.
I was not, to the record. I was looking for great customer support. Oy!
Well, one of the newest keys doesn't work. Whatever, it occurs. The real estate manager takes it back to Burdick's, and also a"great" key to compare. They don't have my file information that is updated. Can't find my account. But after 15 minutes with me on the phone they find it, it just wasn't"entered into the computer yet." Following 8 weeks. While they speak to me They're passing the phone around the office of the property manager, between them.

He saved my sanity (and the area's ) by immediately taking my phone call for assistance. He patiently talked me (a complete klutz) through the way to deal with an old Honeywell alarm system at a home I recently purchased - an alert system with no manual and zero directions from the former owners. That alarm system was activated to a ear splitting degree in the middle of the night due to my hitting on the button in an effort to turn the battery off. You don't have any idea how awful it can sound, until you've had your ear near an alarm!
I am confident Tim treats all of his actual customers - not just random callers like me with kindness, patience and respect. Burdick Security and Tim deserve a 10 star rating and Burdick has my enterprise, should I ever need an alarm system. Thank you, thank you and thank you! Here are my ten stars: **********!

Glenn was an expert. He helped me buy and deliver/install a safe. Was efficient and friendly. His price for the safe was 10 percent less compared to competitor up in lake city manner. His price for setup and delivery was of their price. With one phone call we set up everything and delivery which am was affirmed by him. Went smoothly.
I found them after the lake city way lock and safe company took a week to call me back and then quoted a charge that was 25% MORE than the total cost of the 600.
I would go with Burdicks for several lock and safe needs.

Company and service that was good for a last minute emergency after key broke off in front door lock and we couldn't get inside the house. Called and talked to Tim who sent a locksmith out to get the key out and let us in our residence. Since they were less expensive than other locksmiths in the 19, highly recommend especially for a same-day crisis. Thank you Burdick's Security for assisting us.

I lease a house. The locks are historical and perplexing. One stopped working from the blue so we predicted Burdick's to come check it out. I also had to inquire about our bathroom door and because my toddler've been terrified, altering the lock would lock himself inside there. Tim Burdick showed up on time and quickly showed me my"broken" lock was just user error. We did not even recognize it cold be turned on and off with the push of a button and also why it looked broken was only because we did not know the lock. It was simple and in fact, clear. I felt like an idiot for not figuring this out earlier but Tim did not make me feel bad about it. I don't understand why we hadn't tried that before. . .but he did not charge me for the visit, although it was unnecessary and had been gracious and so kind. Amazing, type ceremony and Burdick's are the place I call for anything related in the future to my doors/locks. Thank you, Tim!

6. We had them detach the programmed glass break sensor but a while later, I visited Alarm.com and saw that there was no background on the account. No log of all the door openings and closings. From the list of detectors, they were all grayed out and labeled as"inactive".
I wrote a review for all these people earlier but I've got new information. We had another company come check and review the alarm system. Here's What we found out:
2. The installer did cut the wires of the old one so it is non functional although smoke alarm in the basement wasn't replaced with new.
5. So the detectors weren't named there our keypads were not programmed. We had to go online to see what was happening with detectors that are open.
3. Detectors had been hardwired by the two car garage doors from our old system but the wires have been cut and no radio detectors were installed. Owner insists that they weren't part of the system that is old rather than part of replacement contract.
The new alarm guy (Froula) was appalled. We are not even safe from fire before the machine is repaired. I proposed before we have it fixed the owner come and review his installer's job. He refused but has emailed back and asserted about every defect in the system his company. Don't use them. You cannot assume their system is going to keep you safe.
1. Heat sensor in kitchen is not programmed into the machine and can be non-functional.
4. We got email notifications from a glass break sensor when we were home and the machine wasn't armed.

Tim made a copy of a secret for a 2011 Kia Soul. Before researching replacement keys on the internet, where folks reported the key blank was hard to discover, I must have gone. I also guessed this endeavor would be trivial to get a fancy security store for example Burdick's. Not so! Tim then took it out to the car to make sure it worked , expertly cut the secret in a matter of moments, and had the ideal blank. Super efficient and friendly service!

I definitely recommend this.place.
Chris showed up at my home right. He assessed the situation rekeyed 3 locks & left spares. He was thorough & prompt, friendly, efficient.
I was expecting for same-day support (for reassurance following a safety incident), but they did come within 24 hours of my call. The price came to $191 6 keys + labour, for 3 locks.

They have been a respected presence in (and supporter of) that the South Seattle community since 1959. I've found them to be trustworthy, dependable, knowledgeable, honest, and devoted to the neighborhood. Besides this they have some very long-time employees which is pretty impressive. Tim Burdick proceeds to assist me and my real estate clients with different needs.
I am happy pleased to give Burdick's Security a 5-star score (something you can see I rarely do) and since I am going all out I thought I should clarify why I think this is a must-have referral.
A few of the matters they can assist you with: residence intrusion alarms; burglary prevention and detection systems; 24-hour observation; keyless entry and access control systems; video surveillance programs and eliminate systems; medical alert alarms; hold-up and panic button systems; 24-hour emergency service; safety inspection; intercom systems; full service locksmithing; contractors hardware; high security keying systems; safes and money vaults; commercial and residential door hardware; fear devices and door closers; habit safety design and installation.
I can strongly suggest Burdick's Security for all these residential and business security options.
Check them out http://www.burdicksecurity.com, they are great.
Even if you just need keys made, they are way nicer and faster than the guys at Home Depot or Lowe's (and I've never had a problem with keys they have made for me... unlike those other places). They cut a spare key for my 1981 Mercedes which is but they were able to cut the key for me! They also told me that they could do keys.

I have always trusted Burdick's Security-- they have always been more helpful and responsive than any other safety company. At about midnight on Christmas eve last night, alarming LOUDLY was started by our fire detector. No flame, and we couldn't work out how to get it to stop. After stressing for half an hour (but only waking one of our three children ) we managed to achieve Tim Burdick, who figured out the way to silence it generously. We're SO GRATEFUL that Burdick's security has been so great do do business with, but especially for saving Christmas. They are the best!

Thank you for replacing my own deadbolts with a that is secure. We had in our area and I feel much more secure! They were able to come out 2 days after I called and were friendly and professional!

They worked efficiently, were 100% on time, and were professional. They pointed out security problems to look out for in our home that we never would have thought of. Over all, a fantastic experience and an extremely competitive cost.
Each night We've got the keys to our home, and that morning Burdick's changed of the locks for us and came and installed a whole alarm system. The alarm is awesome--it can arm and disarm the system and get email alerts when the aalrm goes off.
I also love supporting a local company --that I can just stop by their store if I have any problems. I'd give my greatest recommendation to them.

Anyhow - I spoke at the morning, gave details, and my phone number and was informed I'd be called back.
I never got a call back. With cell phones and voice mail, I know this is accurate. Perhaps she took my number wrong, but this was my sign to go with the first company. Burdick- manage phones and your consumption, please. You're great, but I will never know and neither will my friends.
Not a review - because they never followed up. So just note that I called about 1.5 weeks ago for an in-home security consult AND change of all my locks, on a new residence. Because the firm I called ended up being pretty expensive and deceiving, I really tried to find another consultation.

This was one of the businesses I've worked with in a little while. I needed to have a bolt and the key for it matched into the locks on the flat. They were able to come and do the estimate daily after I called, and were available to do the actual work the next day I had off of work. Chris was right on time for both appointments, also was quite friendly and professional. The work was finished quickly and nicely, and he even fixed another lock for me that didn't charge for it and was not functioning properly. The price was also fair. I will use Burdick.

I would recommend them to anyone in need of a security system and look forward to working with them in the future.
Some time ago my wife and I moved into a home that had a security system. The problem was it was not activated and not connected to monitoring. We figured out how to trigger it, but couldn't get the monitoring working. We did. Over the course of a week I called the first company (maybe not Burdick and I won't mention them here) about the list twice and sent them a message after asking for somebody to contact me. No response. I guess they did not want our business.
My wife suggested giving a call since they are just a few miles off to Burdick and had a lot of great reviews. I had a consultant in my home on Tuesday called on a Monday, also had a system in my home. Seriously. 48 hours to system that is working from first contact. These men wanted my business and each person I spoke to sounded clients.

I went to the shop to ask for the apartment building that I reside in nearby. I understood Burdick's has completed safety systems for the flat owners. The salesman went to acquire the owner. This man came down the hallway with his head and his eyes. He actually looked clownish. Quite foolish, actually. Obviously he had no intention of talking with me. He may have sent word together with the salesman. I guess the flat managers, SHAG had warned him, that I may be in. I have done business with Burdick at the past, just needs. They Are Extremely handy across the street in the Columbia Branch Library. NEVER AGAIN !

I locked myself out of my house last month, my key was in my home and my neighbor along with my spare was not at home! I called Burdick's and Tim said he'd send outside Glenn in 15 minutes with a key. Glenn knew me and understood my home since he'd put in brand new locks for me - which is the reason this story has a happy ending. Glenn let me and showed up with my key. Yay!!

Never go for a lock or a key again to Lowe's. You want it to work first time? Try Burdick's
