I am doing my very best to maintain my store in the afternoons. The very best way is to call ahead of time. I schedule most of my field work in the morning however I have to work in the area more than I'd love to. We are a small family run retail store & complete locksmith services. He left me a duplicate key. I have been using it for two months now and has worked well.
He started on my occupation, after he finished with his client. A girl believed she had been ahead of me and had a big job (so he could do my job or hers) and he told her that I had been there . I didn't need to socialize with the other client. That showed he went out of the way.
I wanted to get an excess set of car keys if I dropped my key, for quite a while. Dealers charge a chance to program an integral fob or automobile distant. The owner told me to come before closure in an hour. This way I did not need to skip work.
Support has been provided by these guys. The very first time they hooked me up with new spare car keys - When I bought my favorite Subaru, that did not have a spare time, I found out that they cost a cent in the dealership/Subaru Inc., however, I found keys bay, and they were able to plan them, easily fast and in a fraction of the price.
Always a joy to go this institution, when I want to.
Another time I went there having a file cabinet with a key apparatus to put in. They were able to take out the lock that wasn't working, easily and fast. I loved how creative and enthusiastic the person there got in getting the lock out.
This place is awesome. The owner is knowledgeable and super helpful and his prices are reasonable. I dropped my car and it as going to cost $200 plus labour. I have one here! I recommend it. The only thing is the owner isn't always at the shop and is a 1 man show make sure you call ahead!

Absolutely wonderful! Commitment to service and pricing that is fair. I lost the master secret to my car & he quoted for me me a lower cost. Since I was hammering the clock on a Friday afternoon, he waited for me. He is my go.
Fast, straighforward, honest and professional. I was able to get an estimate fast and directly, and Tom came and finished the job in under 2 mins! Highly suggested!
We moved in to find an extra key fob and Tom was honest, prompt, reasonable and fast. had to wait for 10 mins there was a customer before us and it only took him less than 15 mins to receive our key fob programmed and trim. He pays our parking meter 30 mins. I recommend his enterprise and we will be back which we might need later on. Thanks Tom!
This man is never facing has you telephone , then sets you in hold for no reason simply to make you feel as begging for service, then he gives you a fair quote however when it comes to doing the task, he doubles the speed he quoted. ( with me he quoted $75 and it had been less than the 100 elsewhere but then he raised it to $150) and then he uses a bogus sick mother or hungry children to justify his rates. Accused me of his children to take food out of effort for inquiring why he raised the estimate that is $75 to $150. So I went into the nicely establiahed and incredible company , had fiven me a $100 quote when I asked if they could offer me a discount since I needed the money for other important things, they gave it to me for $80 and exactly what a speedy and professiinal service that was also friendly! My 5th time in REX KEYS was professional, friendly and good as always. The REX KEYS locksmith on University Avenue in Berkeley are true locksmith magician, unlike this bozo in the AC Locksmith. He utilizes his facw to manipulate you into accepting his outrageous supplies.
I needed to program 2 fobs for my 2014 Chevrolet Volt. Tom was helpful, patient and honest with the charge for his services. I will visit his shop for any needs later on.
Outstanding service! Food reviews are normally given by me but felt the need to come on here because of the service I received yesterday to leave a review. When I called to get my car keys cut my Camry the guy was very professional.
The gentleman said he would cover my meter and did since parking is not easy to come by at which store is located and it is all paid parking. He was very considerate and really thanked me. He also said just bring them back and he'll treat me if I ever have any issues with the keys.
I bought 3 keys and took them for cut and programmed for my car. He charged me $100 for the 3 keys to be programmed and cut! The car dealer charges $375 per key and would not plan.
Called about a car key that was lost. Guy quoted me $400 and once I asked if that was the going rate, he gave me grief about it and said he's extremely busy and does not have the time to call around and was on his off day and accidentally answered the telephone and to call back later in the week. WTH? Called another Berkeley locksmith that got keys made with all the VIN, no need to break into the vehicle. Seems like a rip off.
Had a brain fart, locked my keys in the vehicle, realized too late that my pair is missing, and Long's that were known as. He came out and unlocked the truck within 15 minutes Since I had been close. While I'm sure that incredibly fast time was in part a mix of location and time of day, I'm super grateful that it worked out and I could go out and t.c.b. afterwards. Thanks!
To put it differently, I have only ever had positive adventures. Not one of them have been sticky at all ), the support is quick, and the rates are great! I would heartily recommend this place to anybody.
And a couple of months later (now ) I returned for more cash register keys created because my cashiers have a tradition of breaking them (by leaving them at the register and accidentally hitting them with their knees and/or food cart) and, after I clarified how the other keys kept breaking, the gentleman behind the counter offered to trim the keys for me to have additional tiny heads (not as protrusion in the register = less likely to get hit by carelessness).
Bonus: Foster's Freeze is across the road. Ice cream.
A couple of weeks later, I needed copies of keys created for a tiny yogurt shop that I manage, including one archaic cash register crucial. The folks behind the counter this season were also friendly and individual. Even the missus (it seems to be family owned) was there and offered me some awesome pizza while I surfaced because they were eating lunch.
I first came here in order to get mailbox keys and replacement apartment created after I had my bag. The service was exceptionally courteous and prompt. I took a mental note.

Two processor keys than what the dealership wanted for one, so I am sold for less. I would recommend calling ahead to make an appointment as the proprietor is sometimes away, if your timing is tight from the shop on lockout calls.
Maybe there's a reason. Maybe there's a reason some folks don't or can not work for many others. Maybe I'll look elsewhere for help.
A very peculiar experience. Referred by a locksmith in my neighborhood, I dialed the number that was disconnected and I was given by them. I looked up the internet site on my phone for AC Lock and called the amount there. Mailbox was complete. I found a different number, and someone replied,"hello?" He cut me off, and called me . I told him yes, I needed a key. He said he'd have his"tech" call me back straight away. No telephone, attaining what sounded like the boss, or sole practitioner, and dialed a variety, so an hour or so after I looked up the internet site in my pc at work. He explained he was outside in the field so that he could look up things on the pc in the shop, and I must call again in the day. "One p.m. OK?" "Better make it more like two." I predicted at three, and he said he wasn't finished in the field yet -"that is how it goes some days." When will be good; I said sure? "Maybe tomorrow." "I have no idea." I suggested he call me if it was convenient for him. "I'm not planning to do this. You enjoy Merry Christmas and your work. 'Bye."
This is a real old-school locksmith with lots of inventory provider, and fair prices. These guys rule.
This place is a Berkeley gem. Work, friendly and fast. I had a puck lock stuck on a van door, so badly that the key broke . Not only did Willie get the broken key outside, he figured out the best way to eliminate everything I believed was stuck. He was able to make a key out the one which had been snapped in half!
Called at 4:30 pm on Thursday and Tom showed up at 8 am on Friday to repair our early Baldwin entrance door lock collection. He needed to arrange a component to replace a one, and a week later was back to finish the repair. Fantastic craftsman and knowledgeable about all types of locks.
Each time, I'm impressed with their care, although they've helped me today.
I'm telling you, them's good people.

Tom helped us doorbell and put in our August lock and came to put in door hardware. He was rather nice to chat with the educated. Nice to have AC's so near our new house!
