Okay so I have 3 stars due to the service. It was trustworthy and speedy. The service worker, Mike, that had been very wonderful and I were communicating. The lock looks protected and great. However, VERY pricey. I understand that so that the new lock will match, the door needed to be drilled along with the lock is of fantastic quality. The quote came in at $495 when he got there and then there was the $59 service charge I did not know about. So the response time was quick and trustworthy BUT there's a price to pay. The only reason I said yes was because my tenant took some time out of her work day to be there and I did not want her to keep going back and forth to get quotations.

Ben was super helpful and he had been very accommodating and directed me on the UWS, giving me the time and place and contact people even though I had no charge card to copy my key from. Once I got there they had expected me to see and In addition, he spoke to them and understood what I needed. Though the UWS place was not close to the Kips Bay place I originally wanted didn't have the machines to generate the copies and/or were not fully open on Saturday. The costs were really adequate ($10 a key for your own MulTLock) plus tax, and that I made 2 copies in under 5 minutes. Thank you!

Ben was really helpful when another locksmith couldn't get the task finished. Swung by our office to see what the problem was advised on the best way to do. The lock/key was fixed to get a lock/key that has been trickier than normal in just a couple days. Great communication too. Would def recommend.

We utilized Elite Locksmith for our son's new flat. Moved him in on a Saturday and called to have the very best lock changed. Elite dispatched a locksmith over the hour in their own team and responded! Locksmith was professional, knowledgeable and had the lock. Entire job and the installation was literally done in 15 minutes! Couldn't be more happy. Quick, top notch services, and professional. We are happy we trustworthy fellow yelpers in locating Elite Locksmith. At a breezy afternoon, our clinic's door will not shut. They arrived at our practice soon after we predicted, checked the lock started to work in outdoor weather from the 30s. Whenever someone knows what they're doing, later on, you are able to feel the confidence, we found the guy has been working in the industry for 20 years. After hours of devotion and work, the doorway was straight back to work than before. No noise from the hammer, lock works end. BTW, his name is Ben guy, I would highly recommend him to anyone commercial or residential!
Update 3/30/2015 Ben came follow up having a minor problem, he helped adjust speed of shutting the door. Very customer services that is responsible.

I have to say, this has been one of my experiences that are very successful with repairs.
Everything went perfectly.
I researched a few locksmiths in my area and locked myself out. Elite's reviews and website impressed me. The reviews were great and the website pointed out typical locksmith scams to consider. Elite was made the decision on by me and my conclusion was right! They gave me a reasonable estimate and came. Ben was so obviously experienced and outside specialist. He came within 30 minutes, the bill was reasonable and Ben was a pleasure. I will be recommending him to everyone I know, and placing him on a few Coop Building Manager's vendor lists (I work in construction).

I broke off my car key fob. The key was in fantastic condition so that I bought. I needed to switch the keys but didn't have the proper tools. I phoned Elite Locksmith to determine if they could do it and they did it quickly and simple. Quite happy with the service and price.

Elite Locksmith is great. Ben was fast and professional with great support. My lock was also installed by him and replaced part of the lock I had using a piece free of charge. He explained to me everything he would have to do in order to get the task finished. I am so glad I went with Elite Locksmith for my door lock setup!

Seriously fantastic customer support and fairly priced. When he arrived to open the door after I locked myself outside, I enjoyed the kindness and respectfulness of Ben. When I called Elite Locksmith I actually needed some clarity about what sort of a price range I might expect to need to cover and whereas other businesses told me it might vary between $30 and $300 (a fairly WIDE range), Ben asked me a couple questions about the type of door and lock I had, and gave me a direct answer which I felt like I could trust. Then he arrived in 25 minutes and and quickly opened the door. Until I turned to a professional support, I'd been locked out for 24 hours and I was so grateful for professionalism and his ability. Then showed up. He told us the service fee was $59, and drilling the lock price another $99. Because it was really late at night I had to agree with it, I couldn't locate another locksmith. I inquired why he didn't replace the lock , he then told me it cost $85 to replace the lock after he drilled the lock. So, ultimately, it also got a lock!! and cost me $240 to open up the door The receipt he gave me he had been from"Omega Lock & Security" that situated at 1562 3rd Ave (between 87 & 88 street).
I had been locked out of my apartment. Called them to inquire if they can send a staff to open the lock. The woman on the phone told me the whole cost I agreed to the cost as it was affordable.
They actually sent a guy from another provider instead of Elite Locksmith to open your door. You paid large fee to nourish two businesses. Don't call your door to open.

Called them on a Monday at and they fit me. Showed changed the guards really quick and gave me a discount plus two keys. Fantastic service in the locksmith, quite professional and fairly priced. For my locksmith requirements, will visit them.

Obtaining your doorway opened is expensive (~$120), but they were here in 10 minutes and had me inside in another 5 minutes.

I didn't recognize that it was cash only for jobs. So good thing I had cash on me.
Service was fast and nice. They've a Locksmith Cat, Panther, who is sweet. He's as much of a reason to go here as the service & product!

I dropped my keys and known as Elite Locksmith to unlock my door. They gave me a great price and were helpful and friendly. Got my door open with no issues and helped me with a key that had not been working. I predicted, I highly suggest them.

I apparently have an obscure (and pricey ) door crucial. So vague that Elite Locksmith is the only place I have found that can make me a spare. Beyond an impressive choice of important that is unattractive rings along with keys, they sell gates, locks, and alarm systems. The ceremony is somewhat indifferent, but hey. It is the place to go, if you've got an obscure me like mine.

I had two key fobs that had cut and to be programmed. I received a reply with a price and reached out through Yelp's attribute for a quote. I called to see when I could come in for service, along with the locksmith told me he could come to my home.
When he came, he was professional and quick. The entire process took less than 15 minutes, and we have two functioning fobs to our van. I'll definitely be calling them.

I phoned them up yesterday to fix a door lock that would not open. Before I told him I sent them a picture of the lock and they gave me $60 for the lock. After he was done, the bill was 287, with that charge, this charge and tax. I wouldn't recommend them.

Amazing! I believed we were going to require a lot of work on the Land Rover after having problems with ignition and the key. Jacob provided a quote prior to seeing it responded quickly to our inquiry, showed up on time, also worked his magic. He's a real person who likes what he has ethics and does. This could have been an expensive repair and he managed to perform the work at the bottom end of the quotation. He is the only locksmith we'll call moving. Thank you Jacob; we love it. Amazing!

The thing that stood out about my encounter at Elite with Jacob, is that he did what was right for me. He looks out for his clientele. (That's saying something in this market!!) . He listened, believed choices, implied what was in my own best interests, not the most expensive. He was clear about his prices. He also went above and beyond to repair a couple items that were annoyances with my vehicle locks at no charge and on a weekend night was quite agreeable. Highly recommend!
