Gene saved our vacation! He was professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and did work in a cost that was below what we expected ! We forgot our ship keys out of Lake Mead 4 hours in home. We brought out ship to Gene, he removed the ignition climbed inside and made us a key in about a half hour. We had been on the lake before noon! He is a true professional and did exactly what 2 other locksmiths we predicted from Google said couldn't be accomplished! I highly recommend this professional for all your lock and key needs! Thanks again for saving our vacation!

Hundreds rather than visiting the dealership, Amazing. Described how I was having to jimmy my key and was stressed my quick solution would not continue and he spent over an hour attempting to make a remedy for me while we wait for the mailman in the meantime! And I got home in 1 piece. Can't suggest these kind individuals enough!!

Worst non-service ! I called week to prepare a home re-keying for Saturday at 2pm. I got a call at noon stating the technician was backed up and it'd be closer to 3pm, okay I was flexible. The technician Ricardo and 230 rolls, calls and states he is still running behind and it would be closer to 5. I wasted my day, so at this point. I am outside angry at this stage as I wanted my home re-key because my ex was going out. I could have called another company and not wasted my day they wouldn't get to me. Customer support!!!! Beware!!!!!

So I am stuck trying to locate another company which I likely won't find now and the work I had done asap will not get done. Very disappointed. Will allow and I have to now find out it.
I called and talked to the owner who asked me to send a photo of what I need done to him and he would have someone call me back to set an appointment. After not hearing back, I called them on Tuesday because I actually wanted to understand why I hadn't heard back
I told that the tech ran behind and somebody can come out instead but not until 3pm?? and was called Well unfortunately that time wasn't great for me. I asked how can it be another guy other who was scheduled could come but yesterday there was one and only one who would do this? I don't understand was the answer.
I was referred to this company as a good companymy experience was everything less then good.
The images were passed on but I could not be told very why I wasn't called back. This week we got beyond that and set an appointment for Friday as I wasn't available on Thursday. It was I called to see if I can get out somebody on Thursday and might have been available. I was told no there wasn't anybody other then so we set the appointment.

Their site says they can do some lock for virtually any car. That's not correct. Since the company they go through has locked their designs or something, apparently they don't do Ford keys. But should you call the ford dealership you're out of luck too since they do 10 years and newer to keys for cars, and they said companies that are private in this way can do my crucial but nope!
Therefore, if you have a Ford you're out of luck.

I had been quoted $115 for a job. When it was Gene's Locksmith I have used this business. Liberty possesses them. Since they believe they can pull the older Up-sell BS. I receive the bill and they have been charging $150! They stated the lock was more difficult then expected. Its business lock, the same locks that have been for 10 plus years around the construction and have been times. Never did the Gene's technician up- sell me. This is a first and it's my last time.

Fantastic company. When I had an excess key made for my truck the dealership wanted several hundred dollars because of the cut the key and the computer processor. The team at Genes locksmith has been superb. They saved me nearly 50% off the dealer price And had the job done in 1 hour instead of two days

Key broke in my pool cap keyed switch. The maker said it was a custom key that a locksmith couldn't replicate. His co-worker and nick needed a cut for me in no time. Worked just fine.

After hauling them about with me to many different homes in various nations, and wondering what the hell was in the one which I discovered locked & abandoned, I finally decided to stop from Gene's & speak with them about opening them, if for no-other reason, to then be able to eliminate them & free-up some distance in my home.
I have had two cheap Sentry-brand safes sitting about sealed-up for many years. One the other had the batteries to the keypad, and I never knew the mix to die & I was TOO STUPID to find that you could alter the battery .
For the safe, I took his advice & got it opened through contacting Sentry in my own.
I ended up having them utilize brute-force to open one of the safes, and it was fairly educational & irritating (since I paid $200+ for this ) to determine how fast he got in.
The young locksmith guy was really friendly & gave me a few options, such as that I could cover him and just change the batteries on both, open one with the combo which I knew, and together with the other, I might really call Sentry & find an override code, even giving them the model & serial #!
Family-owned business, A great, small & that I hope I can continue to support.

They have been if they stated they'd be open on a Saturday. Number two, the cost was right, and there was not some nasty weekend rate applied (telephone quote was $31.95. A rival was $150 and attempted to up sell to $220 - it is more economical for work done from the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia). And C, they finished fast! They had jobs before us, their cellular vans came and going, same 25, and they still got us on our way. A easy job's boon.

We've been in Henderson since 1965 and hgave utilized Gene's Locksmith for both home and work, but I called today and the new owners have a really extremely RUDE LADY functioning for them and costs are off the chart..DO NOT USE THEM.

I read previous inspection. I had no chance on keys there even for a very simple house keys. We enjoy supporting small companies instead of going to the dealerships or large companies who charge much more. We will surely spread the word about this Henderson company. Thanks Steve!
Application a key fob to our Elantra and we arrived to find another key fob to our truck. Got great service from the owner, Steve. Ford dealership wanted nearly $250 - that's a small car payment? Steve got it for a reasonable price and gave us a break! Ours was a job that is small, but he also took the time.

"The Elevator Operator Never Saw it coming" The up-sale could not be made by gene's so my company had been turned off by selling me their very own blanks.
You've got the right to refuse business to anyone right?

Went to Home Depot (out of all places) that they cut my Blank for Free for the Toyota and the Blank match Perfectly, and engineered my Nissan Keyless remote for $69. With no difficulties.
I called first about car keys being programmed that they gave a GO to me.
I think so but, this is the reason why MOM and POP places which don't keep up with customer support will disappear.

The proprietor gave me an excuse my initial key on the 2015 Nissan didn't have a processor and that my blank didn't match his machine when I showed up for a 2008 Toyota FJ along with a 2015 Nissan.
Well, that's a really ancient practice, keep up with the times, maintain you industry living.

We seen the now of Gene because our safe had expired and we had no way of getting it available. We were greeted when we entered the shop. She made us grin through the situation that brought us here to begin with, and was very friendly. Zane and steve came to see what our protected looked like and we advised them that we didn't care when the safe got ruined because we wanted passports for traveling. They could induce the open in less than a minute and only charged us $10.
All of their workers were incredibly friendly. We had been worried that this was going to be a crazy debacle that ended in our door being dynamited off, and we are so relieved to have discovered Gene's. We will definitely be back to get a new protected and for any prospective key-related issues we might have. On a side note, they'll be moving to another place. We wish them the very best in their new area!

Don't waste your time! There are lots of honest traders in the valley. I went to get the same deal with ABC Locksmiths!
I called for a quote concerning locks. I talked Steve who gave me a quote which we negotiated at a fair price. When his office lady called me back to schedule the time and get payment, so there was no errors on the day of support, I wanted to review the pricing and merchandise. She then told me the price which was 200 bucks. I asked her about this, but she could not explain it placed me on hold. She then informed that"Steve said we would pass on the job!" I was confused by this, so I asked to speak with Steve. He'd call me, although she said he was inaccessible. Steve never called back! You're the owner and you also can not figure out your pricing?

Open on Saturday and service on two consecutive weeks. . .kudos into Bradon. . .he achieved and stuck result. . .good on him...

I went back to the shop gave him the originals to copy and out the door I was in less than two minutes.

Purchased a computer chip key online afterward went to Gene's to get it replicated. The individual who cut the key, was not cut right and that I thought I was out of a service and key I paid. I ended up speaking to Steve and phoned later to speak with the manager. He explained that he was moving to it right.
