Wow.. .some of these reviews I do not actually get. My mother just had a lock on her nearly 100 yr old house on Badillo repaired by Greens just the other day. Excellent super cost that is reasonable and service. Personally, I have used Green from changing the locks in my business. . .computer chips and all, and a variety of security and lock function over the years. I have only praise for these men. .

These guys are just the best. They have helped me. Their customer service is excellent! They have been used by me at least 15 days and have experienced nothing except service. They are strongly recommended by me!

I went to a ACE hardware in which they ultimately made 5 duplicates at one fourth the price of the four Green's Lock & Safe had made me. The ACE ones operate and they are of quality as the original Schlage keys.
When it was indicated I returned that Monday hoping to have a refund, they offered one. That is what I understood the time I went to the shop and they said, bring them back. Instead, they said my key was old, their machine had difficulty with it, and since my lock was old, it would probably fail one of these days. Allow me to include their slogans were copies that were not the same quality as the original. They did provide I eliminate the door hardware and they would re-key it. I found that strange and once received they might tell be that the mechanism was old, the hardware needed to be substituted. Especially since it was mentioned several times I would not be able to unlock it whatsoever and this lock will probably fail one of these times. Regardless, the duplicates were butchered keys. To me personally this was similar to moving to the same surgeon who botched the surgery. Wouldn't you visit someone better and different? So, I left unhappy with the results.
I was a client of Green's Lock & Safe since the 90's. They provided me my Schlage door hardware that is brand new and re-keyed all my locks in my home when I moved in 1998. They've lost my business over this $20+ incident. Granted, it may be a time before I have yet another costly purchase for example door hardware that is new. Never the less, you can find different locksmiths.
The price was $4.95 per crucial for a total of 21.6, including taxation. They did not work and I returned them. Instead they were hand by them, the teeth were unrecognizable and were filed off. These keys still did not get the job done. By this time, the shop was close closing for the afternoon, so I was told to return Monday, January 2.

My home key got stuck in the lock. I called right because they closed and asked them to please come out and get my doorway. I'm about 3 minutes from store. I was told that it would be $120 only for them to appear which was only for coming. Parts and labour were extra. The person I spoke to showed no desire to help a prospective customer. And surely no desire. I would never do business and certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Thank goodness a friend recommended a handyman that got me in my home but substituted my lock.

Can there be a no star option? Don't make the mistake of getting your car keys copied. Without warning you about the 11, They'll do it even. They copied my car essential, knowing that there is a possibility of it not functioning due to not correctly transponder. Key didn't work and got charged full cost of whopping $45!!! Sucks!
