This is my favourite hardware store to visit. Considering there is a Home Depot several blocks up, that's quite the announcement to make. This neighborhood hardware store is a hidden gem. If you walk in, you're always greeted by somebody at the cash register. Than it seems, do not hesitate if you can't find what you're looking for, there is so much more for this store! Ask somebody who works there! They are wonderful! Their prices are fair, their creating services are over par, and their customer support is all around outstanding. I will not go anywhere else to have my keys created if I'm in the area.

Searched hardware stores in the area while filming street. Luckily I saw m j & across the road and walked to my car. So that I didn't see it in 15, the business was recorded as locksmiths. Tina, the owner, gave exceptional customer support, which is why I go to yelp in the first place. So her store can be found by everybody, I upgraded the category! 5 stars.

Customer support. The closet rod in my 30" cupboard fell down and I needed a brand new setup. Home Depot only offered a 72" rod for $30 which they'd cut down plus the price of a socket and screws/anchors. J&M instantly walked through cutting on a 30" rod for just $9 and threw in sockets along with non-drill anchors/screws for drywall for a total of just $19. Very fast and friendly support.

I can not recommend this place . I came in around closing and Dan helped me get a copy of some key that I needed. One of the best customer service experiences I much appreciate Dan staying beyond closing to allow me to get a copy of my key and I've ever experienced. Thank you so much!

I popped in to get keys and just work in the region. The men and women who work here are efficient. I had been in and out in 5mins. $2 per essential.

I needed some Baldwin hardware. It was ordered by the shop arrived when he said it would. He had been extremely valuable and I would go back.

I've been locked inside my apt. My super was able to open the doorway from the hall. J&M came on time, took the lock. It was debris from inside the doorway. My charge? $0! That NEVER happens! I would definitely use them again although I trust I don't have to.

For assisting my wife using a emergency I want to thank Dan Basovitch at J&M hardware. He helped her locate the size timber dowel and cut it to length for her and told her to fix the stool. This is the reason you have to encourage the mom and pop hardware stores. It's not about the price. You can by a piece of wood everywhere but getting the urge and service it priceless! Dan thanks for your help and you earned a new client.

Came in here and we had four keys copied for ~$7. We had been in and out in five minutes. Will return for my key related needs.

Friendly helpful and fast is your team in here. In the event that you need anything to do with welding then dan is the guy this is your place.

Went to J&M not knowing what to expect and they were great. The staff has been friendly and helpful and hardware was not only carried by them. That is my new go.

Fabulous store - staff was super knowledgeable and useful! I know nothing about hardware, and they have been friendly and patient. I'd like to get exactly what I want, and they provide metal cutting services (which Home Depot down the street didn't, and refused to refer me to anywhere that did). They helped me find a solution to some bedframe piece I made sure I walked away with the hardware that was ideal, and needed to replicate. Would absolutely recommend - great experience!

Super quick and easy place to get a document notarized. 1 second and $2 is all it took. Great alternative if you don't need to wait in line store.
