Worst experience ever for such a simple clearly conveyed asked.
Lack of excuse and responsibility to make sure customer understands results in NEVER recommending their service to anybody no matter how near they are located into community.
Service telephone with expectations ahead of cost may be subject to change, given window of time frame, and expect a call at least 1 hour beforehand. Call was received an hour into our time frame, tech showed up 45 minutes afterwards and then stated that he would be there within 5 minutes. Long story short, charged amount was 300% higher then estimated (clearly low priced just to later change order) with no explanation following multiple times being asked. Issue is we requested beforehand several times to get a cost until they took off all the hardware which had us grip in needing them to finalize work and it wasn't given. I tried to call a few times and every time was disconnected.
BEWARE!! This corporation will scam you. They tell you a level service price of $40 and $35 and up depending on your lock. They charge you $65 for $176 and the service call for a 1 minute job on a standard door lock. Do not use this company
I won't be attempting this provider.
Just called to get a cost and he quoted $160 - . I said, wow that the trader quoted my. He explained you hung up on me and should visit the trader!
I ask them to leave and thank them. Now the locksmith starts negotiating with me. He tells me that he's an independent contractor and he can get it done privately for $80 if we pay the call charge to the Ladera Ranch Locksmith. At precisely the exact same time, Ladera Ranch Locksmith is offering it to us for $100. By now it is clear that this is nothing more than a scam so I ask him to leave. He needs for coming out to appear, $30 and I refuse. He threatens to call the cops and sue us. A person from"Locksmith Service" calls us he threatens to call the cops.
Obviously, no cops show up another scam tactic to attempt and frighten you. Don't deal with these people. I have done a little research and it turns out Ladera Ranch Locksmith is not a licensed locksmith business. Also, there are a bunch . Make sure and beware of strong-arm strategies!
Talk about bait and switch.... We called to get our doorway re-keyed and we were quoted $50. We had called around and knew so we inquired what the max was, the price could rely on the kind of lock, and also we were told $70.
The man takes roughly an hour. Comes in an unmarked van (red-flag 1). I asked him to get his license and he says he'll show me later because its at the car (red-flag two ). I ask him to get an estimate in writing until he starts working and he tells me $130-140. He's his"boss" on the telephone and he starts trying to negotiate with me. He says it is because it was to get the front door so that it costs $60 more labor (regardless of the fact we informed them it was front door re-keying in the beginning ).
