Mass Ave Lock

Ran over to this store while the Comcast guy was working on setting up our internet. Had 2 sets of keys created within 5 minutes (probably closer to 2! ) ) , prior to the cable guy even noticed I was gone no wait, returned. I feel it was $2/key. They gave a basic ring that was key . Super convenient and expedient.

They're gracious and useful to everybody. They're patient if you have lots of sets of secrets and requests.
Keys that we have ordered from them have worked well. From the rare instances that a secret hasn't, they replace the faulty key.
They work quickly and efficiently and pin the keys with a letter or number so that you can keep track of which keys are employed for the front door of their building, for the unit, such as the garden, etc..
They're a neighborhood association. What do we like about them?
Even though they are only open Monday to Fridaythey do emergency calls. They will go to your construction as needed.

This place is really good. They are really quick. You may get your key and it only cost 1.59! Cheap and fast!

Outstanding! Professional, quick and reasonable. $1.50 per key backup. Needed an extra pair of keys for visitors, was outside in two minutes. Owner even gave me an extra copy of some other key that was not cut right (done elsewhere). Very easy to find - 125 St. Botolph, located on a quiet residential block close to Mass Ave/Orange line and Symphony/Green line. Emergency hotline for lockouts/rekeying, also available. Highly recommend.

Since I never had to bring my keys back trust me when I let you stick with the hardware shops, I do love this place.

Truly great service. Super fast and punctual. Got only 5 minutes early at launching time, and just on a random day, their doors opened and that I had my two keys replicated in a matter of 2 minutes. Originally went to Ace hardware, where both keys were messed up by them. Ended up getting perfect copies for the price of ace hardware and going here. Can't recommend this place enough

Went around 4pm to get some keys and the support was excellent! This place has been more economical and quicker than any name hardware shop! I would come back if I had any keys or locks. They have a fantastic selection or locks and door security equipment.

Do Not Head to Home Depot! 100% recommend these guys, easy and fast, the key worked on the initial try. Way more affordable than those kiosk machines. Do not be put off the exterior that is sketch, these guys are experts.

Ditto on All the 5 Star reviews for Mass Ave Lock. Prudential Center area, south End is lucky to have such a locksmith that is great in the area.

Buddy and Mike are all great guys to manage. They come right away and get the business done. Our company has been utilizing Mass Ave Lock for years. All you could want in a locksmith.

Location is extremely convenient: Prudential Center area but slightly concealed (off one of those residential streets). The people who work there clearly are aware of what they are doing and they are super friendly! While I waited for my keys I must observe the owners interact with some of the regulars: first name basis smiles thanks, all goodness. FYI they are also locksmiths. Appears like other yelpers had a fantastic experience with that matter definitely refer to other reviews for more information.
Please BRING CASH unless you intend on having a great deal of keys completed ($15 minimum for card buy ).

I only needed 4 standard copies = $6 + tax. The keys were washed by him and loaded them on a keyring for me! Took the keys and they work! Hurrrah!

Easy in, and out! Came here to resolve a safe, and the locksmith was able to help me out ! Mass Ave was the most reasonably priced service after phoning around for quotes. I shall come for any requirements!

Did the Occupation. A couple cons:
Had a high-security key which I arrived here on Friday morning and had copying, circa 8:30am. Since I had to get in and out fairly fast already open, which was a relief. The man who cut on off my key moved none but the entire experience took about 5-10 minutes, so no complaints.
1. Tried to figure out the hours they were by calling them offered and there was no answering service which said their hours. Difficult, because they also don't have a website. The hours of Yelp will be right, as far as I can tell.
2. Ask the cost before getting anything made. Boy was I surprised, although it's entirely possible that keys price $14 to cut typically. My crucial had already cut, so I ponied up the cash, although rude awakening.

I recommend them highly, and would use them again.
That was unjust, because they were awaiting advice although I wrote a review of these men because it took a very long time to get a quotation from them. Since then, they have given me excellent support. Mike and I met and was right on time both times. He did excellent work, was friendly and knowledgable, and billed me exactly the price on the quote.

Seem great men and women. I didn't have money and minimal to charge. I needed to go around to locate an ATM and wasted too much time. Come on, what kind of company, Even though it was my fault to not have money.
I told him that he can bill my card I did not mind, however, he denied. My rating is because the inconvenience.

Amazing. In fact, I previously went to a store in Chinatown to receive a copy of my key, but it totally broke. After that I went to Mass Ave Lock, the guy measured my crucial for a moment, then return a backup at 10 second. And it works really well.

Wonderful! The guy was friendly and educated. I've gotten two different sets of keys made here- all worked 1st time and the shop has the old Boston brownstone keys in supply (unlike other industrial areas I tried.) Took 2 mins.

It was nevertheless $120 to allow me back in, but it appears that's the regular price in Boston.
I locked myself out of my apartment in a winter storm. The man I talked to on the phone when I made my initial call said it would take him an hour for me and was honest. He said he would try his best to come ASAP but didn't need to make promises on account of the awful weather. He let me and arrived. He asked to see proof of speech which I thought was a really good thing.
