Thanks!
Mike V out of Pop-A-Lock was specialist, opening my Jeep that is new in under a minute without a scratch, and that I got to work in time! His customer service was superb.
With today's expertise, I am really happy to find Mike V, who's a technician, understanding what he is doing, helpful and very friendly!
My car battery died. Insurance company told me help will probably come within 90 minutes. Mike came in under 20 minutes and got car began straight away. He even assisted my battery to be replaced by me through the break and checked my battery initiator ran fine. It saved me a lot of hassle since I need to run several errands during the day. He made my Saturday morning that was dreadful far better.
This locksmith was contracted by Roadside Express to when we locked ourselves from our car. Instead of saying that they had been backed up they lied twice in their ETA and accepted the job. While my fever lasted for two hours I had the flu and laid on the sidewalk! It produced a custody issue that was big making us considerably overdue for a drop off. I wish I been in my way and had broken my window.
I moved through my Geico roadside help and locked my keys in my car yesterday. They called these people.
How can I complain? I was the dumb ass who secured the keys in the vehicle!
The good:
They did not call to describe and were compared to their ETA.
This kid was amazing (Didn't get his name) He was really polite, apologetic for being late (About half an hour ) and got out my keys in 30 seconds.
The not so good:
The technician showed up at a beat up car
ABSOLUTELY Horrible!!!!
After getting a flat tire while this company to change my tire was delivered by OnStar. I got a text saying they need to to be onsite. . I called the company who subsequently told me that the road was closed and the police weren't letting anyone through (WRONG!) . I told them that was a lie that I watched flowing traffic from my place.
We ended up altering the ire ourselves. Then I got a text from them saying" I hope we Could provide you with excellent service today"
WTF all NEVER SHOWED UP!!!!
After another stint on hold I was told the driver was too busy to speak to me
Kai was such a life saver. He arrived literally in five mins after my geico request! Very thorough and careful while changing my flat tire. I will be reccomending this company to family and friends. Thanks again!!
Thanks Jay!
Jay my locksmith enabled me to get in my super duper secured trunk (trunk lever and backseats are all secured ). Smart guy job in 1 getting into 2 and car getting into trunk. Can't say enough great things about him.
At 2:08pm, I phoned back Pop-A-Lock, to mention I no longer needed service. After being placed on hold and requested my address 3 times my request was cancelled 2:16pm.
Maybe not an apology, not an explanation, nothing.
Well, allow me to inform you, America doesn't include Oakland.
I call back in 9:30am to ask as to when I would be called by the locksmith for an update. I'm put on hold a few occasions, then I'm told"he will be calling you soon".
At 10:15am, the other locksmith I called showed up. A couple of minutes later, I'm firmly back in my house, hella.
At I figured I would cover my bases and that I phoned a different service, who said their locksmith could call in my 5 minutes. Two minutes later, he phoned me and said he'd be at my place in thirty minutes.
I called at 6:30am after I (admittedly thoughtless) left my apartment to pack my car... just to realize that I did not have my keys NOR my wallet. I was told by the somewhat pleasant dispatch that the Oakland locksmith"begins sometime between 8am and 9am". Alright, well, nice. I wait from a coffee shop. I request service and call , and I'm told I would be called by the Oakland locksmith.
Do yourself a favor - just call another service, if you are locked out at the first morning Oakland. 24 hours doesn't really mean 24 hours.
Just a simple"Okay sir, your request has been cancelled. Goodbye".
Got a stranger. Worst ever!
Worst experience ever. Was assigned to get a jump start and would keep you waiting on the telephone for 5 minutes before speaking with you. Then says ETA 60 min. I said it is cold, it's dark, I am stuck, can you please expedite? He hung up. Called after an hour and answer was ETA 30 minutes. . bad bad bad
Geico dispatched pop a lock when my car died . ETA was 60 mins, Jason got there sooner. He jump started my car and I was with my kids on my way home.
Side note: I love the way they provided a tracking, so I managed to see the ETA.
Today, my battery died and I had to wait two hours to receive my car jumped. When the service man showed up he was not talkative and not very friendly. I feel like my time that is anticipated ought to have been longer than I had been told although I understand he might have been the only one in the area and the ceremony could have been friendlier.
The car is good and I am good. Thank you for the rescue guys!!!
David did a fantastic job, '' he saved the day and showed up quickly. It was weird were both batteries were dead whenever the door shut I guess there was enough juice in the battery and I was able to get in the car SHUT!!! OMG I had been literally TRAPPED until David arrived-I waited feeling helpless. When Pop-A-Lock arrived I was so relieved cuz I started freaking out...
"There is no HEAVY visitors!!! The cars are moving quickly!!!" Totally not a douchebag.
The man called stating he was close by and that he came. At 9:04pm, where I was he tried to figure out, and 9:09 pm that he was perplexed and I phoned.
So I called the PAL of East Bay to find out where he was from the guy, I didn't hear In 9:21:
"I am not going there. It's too hazardous. Call a tow truck"
I am not going to call the man a douchebag. Heck, I am not going to call him a**hole... cuz you know I'm not gonna allow a mofo steal my peace. Besides, my yoga instructors are really disappointed cuz they are all about"choose to not respond." So I'm going to return from calling. Totally not a douchebag.
The man who replied put me on hold for a few occasions and asked,"Uhh. Is there traffic"
"Umm. He is stuck in traffic. Yeah that is it."
He put me on hold again.
I understand where you are." How long has he been watching us?!?! I've been trying to find him! "You are in a dangerous location.
"Call a tow truck!"
OH wait, did I state that in my loud voice?? I didn't mean that, I have to remind myself that not everyone does yoga as much as I do. Not everyone has determination and Bengal Tiger strength. I'm grateful that I had called my sis and bro-in-law and they found me . My brother-in-law changed my tire and angrily jumped from his vehicle. In 10:05, I was on the freeway driving with a spare tire, and at 10:38pm I was finally home, just in time to sing happy birthday to my daughter and to see her blow out the candles on her cake. Even though the service I predicted (and pay every month, I might add) to assist me out was futile, It was well ultimately. So, I do need to call that man from PAL of East Bay a douche. Totally not a douchebag.
When I have a flat tire, I was from Castro Valley to San Jose on the 880 freeway. My cell phone had battery that is 15% and that I could not find my Geico card. I phoned my sister to search for me, just. The 511 phone number I dialed transferred me. Geico texted they'd be there ETA 9:05 pm, in 60 minutes and sent their support provider, PAL of East Bay. As I sat there , feeling as the fast cars on the freeway drove my automobile jump up and down all these horrific ideas came into my head. I am surprised I didn't cry, I just breathed in and out of my nose. I then freaked out thinking I didn't have a freakin' will. Dammit!!! My mind was clouded by These stories about deaths that were unexpected. What's going to happen to my daughter??? While I waited, so I wrote a will I panicked. Sheesh.
"I've been wai..."
"WHAT?!?!?" Apparently, a company was just referred to as by Geico. "I've been waiting for one hour and a half?!? The tire is on the passenger side, AWAY from the traffic."
My insurer (Traveler's) sent someone from Pop-a-Lock outside to jump-start my car. He showed up over 20 minutes, and got it running again. Professional, friendly, and service -- would highly recommend.
Called pop up a lock due to a dead battery. Within 30 min a tech by the name of JOE R. shows up. He was very kind prompt and helpful. I dnt usual write to a lot of reviews but good people deserve recognition. He was awesome. To JOE R. Thank you sir.
Gilbert was the Very Best Technician! He got to my son in a timely fashion and was very fast and professional!! You have a customer!!!, if I'm ever in need again Gilbert warrants a RAISE!!
Insurance quoted 45 minutes less. Sounds good, I can entertain my son.
I guess they figure you are stuck anyway, what can you do?
Called insurance, plus they called pop-a-lock... 10 minutes to get a status and new eta + 10min!
Pop-a-lock, your support is deplorable. Say so if you are busy! Provide your clients with an eta! Horrible horrible!
At 65 min, no show, I called pop-a-lock... new eta, + 20 minutes, no reason .
TWO HOURS man, from my initial call drives up just as husband finished. Figures.
Stuck on the side of the street with a flat tire in the summer heat with my toddler. My insurance co dispatched pop-a-lock.
Ok, 60 min was said by verification after call.
At 95 min, still no show, I called pop-a-lock, new eta +15 minutes... WTF?
Luckily my husband was able to come and change the flat.

Joe R was helpful. Quick and out. One of the individuals that are better to have done roadside service.
Thanks Jay!

Kai was fantastic! He came early and was nice and super quick. This is actually the first time I have had no complaints using a support!!!
