Total scam. Was locked out and quoted $45 for $15 and the service to dispatch the tech. He got all over the doorway and ground and here sanded a ridiculous amount of WD40 into. Banged on a key to the door for approximately 2 minutes with no success. Said he needed to break the lock which he pinched the door knob and used a vice grip. The door opened. Told me As it was not nowhere near the cost that is quoted or exactly what I was quoted, I was beyond furious. I complained and they dropped it to cuz that's exactly what I was quoted by another locksmith but went with these men cuz they had a quote that was realistic. Mind you, my lock is a simple kwickset run of the mill lock. It isn't fancy. Their estimates are a scam to lure you . Request all costs on services upfront before you dispatch the guy over. They'll cost you $15 when the guy comes out for the location. I would avoid altogether. Chances are they'll say they will need to break the lock.

SCAMMERS: Called the proprietor who is the 1022 number and he was angry and said Simon has had additional complaints get my cash and he not tried to help me.
DO NOT CALL THESE "LOCKSMITHS"

I called Surflocksmith and they jumped to ship the guy Simon out . He said before he started it was would and got here $288 which was large so I signed off on it but I had a baby. Simon attempted for perhaps 5 minutes and could not pick the lock. He said the total could be $399 therefore I signed off and he had to drill and replace the lock. After he is done placing the lock I see he's incorporating the 399+288 on a new receipt and I said how much is that and he said $687. I said I might have broken a window for this ridiculous price and he just laughed and then said to me"My business could call you to find out how much you paid only tell them paid $288 because I gave you a better deal. That will help me out."

Was quoted $40 over the phone to re key a door lock. The tech comes and tries to tell me I've to re key of my doors. I stated my doors work all with One key except with this 1 door and laughed. All I need is for you to re lock to get the job done. Then he gave a non sense about it could be 110 per doorway. I told him I advised yiur office I need I have the secret and one lock are keyed. They quoted 40. He kept trying to tell me . I called the office and they advised him to charge me 15 for cancelation. I advised him I will provide you 50 if you just get this done and leave my house. He tried for 90 when he gave the bill to me. Unreal. Disappointment within their service. I won't use their service.

Scammers. I locked myself. $45 to and quoted $15 to traveling out unlock my door. When the"technician" came he explained it'd be $149. He could not even select the lock and had no sophisticated tools. Charged $149 to drill lock and ruin it. They take advantage of people if they are locked out and exposed. Stay far away from the business as possible!
