Quick! A lady that was 93 yr old was locked from her flat and stranded in the hallways. I happened to be close by and instantly called they and YPL came in a matter of moments!! In my own home with lock my door I was within 20 min.
I had been locked out of my home early in the afternoon and searched for the locksmith.
I had a lock installed, although I wasn't able to reuse my deadbolt from my old apartment, Jacob gave me a fair price for installation and parts. He was really friendly and educated and did the job quickly and efficiently, I put 4 stars because he was late for 1st appointment and that I had to reschedule for the next day, but I am rather pleased with my lock! I received 10% for mentioning Yelp, so I will use them again when the opportunity arises and would recommend. Thank you YPL!!
I contact another other local locksmith that is good, and I was told by them it broke or the cylinder wasn't installed correctly.
The telephone number I got was getting from someone searching for"locksmith" As a man coming for my display door lock-out was delivered by them, he told me charging $150 for it. I then said it was too much afterward he saying no more less than that and reduced to $120. He said he needed to drill and take out the cylinder, then after shooting the cylinder, he said that he would need to charge me for shifting a new cylinder, $100. The lock did not work after the cylinder shifting and he explained it was broken. I did not even require him to take the cylinder out, if it was broken, I would have changed the entire lock myself already. He broke it for certain when drilling it. The lock worked perfectly before as my family knew about that. Instead taking the responsibility the lock had broken he said the lock was busted. When I called him to come back to fix it, he said he will charge me again.
