So I called another plumber who stated the fill valve required to be replaced since in installation it was not fully flushed and charged me $165, it sounded. Fine's been running now for over a week.
I had a toilet that ran. Ritz came out and told me that it could cost $295 and was the valve because there is pressure in the house, but the valve broke. To set a pressure gauge in would be just another $1200.
Not sure if the plumber has been incompetent.

DO NOT USE. The tube is replaced by gus fast when I asked for a flow test to ensure that the system held pressure, but things got weird. He explained that he didn't have the gear on him and would need to come back tomorrow. I stated b.s. you did the job that I want it completed today so that I could call the gas company. Pissed I told him to come back tomorrow.
I repeat. .
Therefore its 9am and he says"I can't do the flow test as your earthquake valve is not functioning and it is going to be an additional 850." I told him I will pass, take his stuff and leave. As soon as I got to the house that the clown left all his broken gauge gear still hooked up...I was able to pass review but wouldn't recommend this shitty business to anyone else. Run for the hills guy...
Called them for a gasoline leak failure from Socal Gas. They were the only company that sent out somebody instantly, so that I went with them. Given that I already had renters in the house I didn't want to have them without gas. The contractor said that I had 12ft value of tube replaced. The cost was outrageous but I knew that going into it, just wanted it fixed.

Ritz Plumbing helped out me they explained the problem and had been on time. I recommend using them if you desire a pricing with work!

A 100 + year old house I have, and pretty much all of the plumbing has had to be replaced/repaired through recent years as you can imagine, over the 30 + years I've owned the house. I have been very pleased with their service, and have dealt with Ritz this time. They're instantaneous and clean, respectful of your property. Everyone knows why, and that plumbing is not cheap anywhere, but these men give value for money, and they're good with explanations of what needs to be done. I'll continue to use them and recommend them highly.

Background: There was a mix of galvanized and aluminum piping in an older house, which is a due to corrosion. Ritz managed to begin work than most others, and I compared timelines and quotes for replacing all of of the piping with copper, and their cost was competitive. They gave me fair rates for services like replacing a water heater or adding in a toilet. Jose was professional throughout and communicative.

Tl;dr: Jose obtained it and guided the project and the patching. I'd be delighted to work later on with Ritz.
Jose managed to solve two specific problems. One installed a hose bib within an extremely tight space; he did, and it looks excellent although I don't know how he managed to solder it!
In general, they expected it to take about 2 times and, with the tasks I added, it did wind up about 6 work days, taking spread out the minding took an extra two weekends. Since I not occupied the house, this wasn't an issue for me personally.
We ran into an issue where a toilet faucet aerator was clogged -- the faucet was replaced by Jose with a faucet that was nicer that also fit the room decor, which really went above and beyond, and than I'd had. Thank you Jose!

When I discovered they were established in Los Angeles I was more impressed with their service. They're branching out to perform much more work in San Diego, when you have a demand to get a plumber, so consider Tony. He made sure we were happy in every respect and that I will look at calling them ...
Had a weekend leak on a main shut off valve rather than one San Diego Plumber would come to our rescue anyhow Ritz Plumbing. They arrived on a Saturday to access the issues and returned the next day... Sunday to do the job. Tony was really professional, pleasant and qualified to do the job and that he did it at the time that he quoted. No weekend rates either...

Ritz must pay Yelp so that all if the real testimonials are concealed as"not recommended" and you simply see the review for Ritz's schills. I advise that you look at those"not recommended" testimonials (probably where this may end up) because many sound really like my experience: Decent quote till they get to your home and start working, then as soon as they begin working the double talk begins and you're advised the occupation will cost 3-4x first quote as a result of a mumbo jumbo about unforeseen complications. However, you're desperate so agree I foolishly did. To add insult to injury, the drain they cleared for me for $540 was blocked within a week so I had to hire a different plumber (fool me once...) to perform the work properly. Is that this Company. If I could, I'd give negative stars to them. Stay away.

I had I trouble with the toilet in my bathroom where the water would not stop. I called Ritz this morning to set up an appointment for later. I was originally offered an appointment between 2-5. I did not wish to leave work early so the offered me 5-7.
Long story short, Vogly and Luis showed up, evaluated the toilet and the problem was repaired soon after the arrived. Luis was patient and very professional in answering all of my questions. I strongly suggest this plumber.

I noticed a flow around my washer and drier and figured they were broken since Ive had them for more than 30 years. I purchased machines but when Geek Squad came out to send they notified me that there is also an issue with a flow in my plumbing. That's when I predicted Ritz Plumbing and spoke to Jonathon.
Its been a few weeks and we've had no problems! Very happy with the service and how quickly they can come out and fix items. They also provided me a 1 year warranty which I understand will be helpful if any problems come up in the future. Giving them 4 stars since the repair should have been repaired through the first time both pipes came. Having the water in our townhome turned off was an inconvenience. I am glad Evsebio mended everything and we havent had any problems since. Thank you!
But during redelivery it ends up so I had to call Ritz Plumbing one more time, that the faucet was leaking. This time he was able to fix everything up and Evsebio came out and left his telephone number incase anything had any problems after that.
He came out the next day to offer a free quote and get. He explained what needed to be done and gave me a quote that was fair.
The next day I'd Jaime and a different plumber came out of the company. The area was assessed by them and performed the necessary repairs based on them and that I was excited to get my machinery redelivered.

My experience with Ritz plumbing was A Gabriel was the rep that arrived and he had been EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. Gabriel is efficient and was willing to teach me the specifics about my house's plumbing system. Gabriel went out of the way that he would not indicate my floor that was much appreciated to put on booties.
I phoned around 8pm on a Sunday night. Jennifer replied and she was helpful and took the time to explain the procedure for getting someone come out to my place after normal business hours.

You can sense COMPLETELY COMFORTABLE with bringing them inside of your family's house, then I strongly suggest GABRIEL out of Ritz Plumbing if you are interested in a plumber that is experienced yet.

Had primary line lined for lots of tens of thousands but as my plumbing problem persists, their occupation has held up the remainder of time. Satisfied!

These guys are great. Late 3, called day - managed to find out someone over an hour and a half. Jesus came over - super on the ball, conveyed and very nice about everything. Needed Evan - was great about expectations. Evan made it super fast from Pasadena to miracle mile. Took care of the job ASAP. Much appreciated.

Jesus and re-plumbing a kitchen faucet Gabriel were careful and efficient in a space, and even came back the same day for an additional modification. They have been polite and left the space cleaner than they found it. Highly recommend.

Ritz responded to my service telephone request and Gilbert was able to easily get the pilot relit in my residential water heater.

His parents have limited income and are on social security and money is tight, so as you can imagine, these crooks basically spends tens of thousands of dollars out of his older parents, then when confronted about this fake cost, that no explanation was provided about this work that was completed, they proceeded to get in touch with his parents, threatening them about taking them to ranges and taking legal action against them.
If I could leave this business 0 stars, I would but I had to rate them with one celebrity so as to leave my review to warn other potential clients of the organization. If you're considering selecting this company- BEWARE. My husband are completely and crooks ripped off, who are older and who do not speak very much English. They had been having a problem that was not just escalated when ritz pipes arrived at their home and then ritz arrived and swindled his parents for work that just took a day to finish and they couldn't even explain what was even done in my own husbands home, where they persuaded his parents to fund an 9,000 Plumbing job that they first claimed was a shower enclosure that had to be replaced.
Being in the real estate field myself, I've come across many negative stories and experiences surrounding ritz pipes and want to want anyone looking to employ these offenders, to run as fast as possible and find another vendor that is honest and reliable, which is a quality that you won't find with ritz. I will report them to the better business bureau as well.

After showering this morning a leak spot was seen by me in my ceiling and they had a person here before noon! Alex was able to rapidly diagnose the issue and give me a quote. Alex gets bonus points for being polite clean and dog friendly!

Richard came out and did a fantastic job. I phoned and he had been out over 20 min- I have tree roots and that I used the yelp bargain for the point to be snaked. It's an old home with plumbing that is original, I'd call them for this service
