Excellent! Can cut on a key for a desk drawer, they get the job done for a reasonable price and fast. Essential works like a charm!

After all these years as I customer and that is exactly what I get. Unbelievable
Very rude and unprofessional men that work here.

I could not find a copy of my key and went to Home Depot and Lowe's along with a minute kiosk. . Went to Carl Zipf's and also have my key produced in under 30 seconds! Great service!

Fantastic support. When they can not do it don't have it, I doubt anyone else will. Easy parking.

Needed a new key for an old safe. If the key deforms more, not wanting to have locked out. Or even worse breaks in the lock of the safe I came . The wait time was more than I anticipated. Store and few real employees. New key works good.

I started coming here for keys after my local hardware shop (whom I love) couldn't get keys cut right 3 times in a row. Everyone at Zipf is helpful, warm and friendly! Along with the keys work. Great locks of all kinds.

I introduced my bike ignition in to have a secret made (I dropped mine) and they were amazingly professional and even finished it same-day when they thought it'd take them a few days!
Fantastic people and support that is wonderful.

Quick friendly service! Took them two minutes to create me a key. Living in and older construction it was hard to locate a place that had one!

So in the Event That You need keys or locks done go here
Whatever key you require, this is the place to go. Home Depot and lowes can only do certain kinds of keys they have a template to get. But this area can do it all, and quickly and cheap. So special keys will be some thing which have a deep slit in it, like the buildings and maintenance keys.
Plus they have lots of things for keys and locks as well. Bought some fairly cool secret decoder thingys.

I make an effort to not run every time I want something, preferring to give company to locals as soon as possible, but not if they are jackasses.
I phoned them. I asked if they'd check to make certain they had this particular one, if I gave them the part number. The person gruffly replied"We are a Schlage dealer. I guarantee we have it." . So I drove , and they did not have it. They said they could order it, but that I would have to pay cargo.

I've used this company as my head to - . Have never had a"bad cut" leading to a key not working. However when I had to discuss a lock and to be installed garage entry door - service. The employee I talked with just wasn't good on the phone. Didn't have any technical knowledge of locks and deadbolts"Grade." At the conclusion of afternoon - we were unable to even get together a cost for a single product. He kept saying that he had more information to cost. I believe he didn't want to be bothered.

I spent months looking for a shop that will make a backup of my Yamaha motorcycle crucial before finding Carl Zipf Lock Shop. Home Depot? Forget it.
When you walk through the door here you realize how much wisdom and professionalism our country has lost through large box stores like Lowes and Home Depot. The workers here know their business and know it better than anybody else around, period. Until we invent something much better and locks, this is the place you ought to go.

Hired them to come out and replace a front door lock in a 4 unit condominium. They sent someone out who gave a recommendation to us and we went with that. The inside handle came off. They fixed it and came out, the next day and it fell off. Since they said it was a defect in the item they refused to repair it and we needed to speak to the maker. They were the people who picked the item, why recommend a lock that is crummy and bill us $900. The previous lock had been around for 15 years without a problem. This company sucks and I would not ever use them. We are going to take legal actions.

Need a key or door hardware? This is your place! Very helpful folks here you'll need! They could get me the special part I left a new key and wanted for my door !

Thus much of life depends on the key. Carl Zipf's is where the key will always fit 1 place you may go.
I like this shop that is particular lock since it is easy to get to. The shop place and ample parking does locks and keys. So much easier than trucking it to a Home Depot or Meijer's and dependable. Plus, as previously mentioned locks and keys is they do so that they consistently get it right.
Zipf sells small safes and lock boxes. I bought one which looks like a book to hold my documents. The support there is always quickly and no key is overly challenging. Because a key fits I've not ever had to return. Zipf's will always make sure you can get in.
When house-sitting I accidentally lost the key. I introduced it to Zipf's and unscrewed the deadbolt after breaking in to the house. Not only did they create me another key, they left it the same color and scuffed up it for me. I returned the key to my buddy and she never knew how irresponsible I was.
