I would if I could give less than one star to these guys!
At this time, the locksmith had not arrived, so we left a voicemail message. At 2:30pm, he eventually texted back (he couldn't be bothered to really make a phone call, I figure ). It had been too late to do anything that day, so we rescheduled for December 29. I made many attempts to get in touch with the locksmith to learn what happened, but my calls were not returned.
This company has been in business since 1981. With a business acumen similar to this, I don't see how! This is the absolute worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. There are many locksmiths out there to be treating your customers! You may think that you're something unique, but you are not.
Long story short, stay far away from East Cooper Lock & Safe!!
On December 29, 11:30am came and went without a locksmith. He showed up, nor did he text or phone to describe himself. I texted him later in the day telling him to not bother showing up (like he was going to appear anyway), and that we'd be finding another locksmith.

My review gave 5 celebrities and four years after I've had a few chances to hire East Cooper to East Cooper. Each time I've had a fantastic experience. The last time I needed service later to take care of it for an extremely reasonable price, also for me that very day and James came. They will always be my go-to locksmiths.

The support in this is excellent. The employees Both jumped in to assist me immediatly to obtain a solution for my trunk key. So that they reffered me to one of their former workers to assist me, Regrettably, they didn't had the knowhow.
The men were quite friendly. I would certainly recommend this place to any one who has issues that are safe or key!

Our most recent interaction with this company was unprofessional and poorly timed .
Obviously we'll be taking our business elsewhere.
I absolutely standby my praise of this work done by this company but our workplace is unhappy with some odd unprofessional practices.

I've used East Cooper Lock & Safe on many of my accounts and every time has been a great experience. I recently had a whole digital locking system installed. James was great to work with. His workmanship was quite comprehensive and he was quite detailed. His customer support was wonderful. Every question which was requested by the Board or myself, he managed to reply. The tutorial about the system was explained in complete detail.

These guys are the best! Brought our older thumb latch door handle in for repair. They were able to salvage parts in their scrap heap and fix it. It's working good and back on the door. Try out these man if you Want any keys lock or stuff

Lost my keys last week and contacted ECLS on Saturday. They suggested that when I email them documents to recognize car and affirm ownership without having to return for my house/car which they may cut a Monday for me. Today picked it up and it worked. It did look like after several telephone calls that I talked to individuals all who didn't know what was occurring. They came through.

I really do not appreciated being tailgated, for miles, by one of the vans! Your van handed me and did not enjoy doing the speed limit! Being that much in a rush is dangerous!

FAST timely and very affordable. Changed out 4 locks onto a house. Showed up on time, although Needed to make appointment 2 days outside and finished job. Charged less a lock! :-)

I needed a part by an absolute date that has been 3 months away. Told me it wouldn't be a issue. I didn't listen, so 4 times I phoned them. The manager, jason, told me it had not been ordered. He told me he did not give a SH#percent and hung me up. I tried locating the proprietor and per the SC Secretary of State, East Cooper Lock and Safe was created in 1990 was dissolved in 2013. Not sure who owns the East Cooper Lock and Safe of today but it's certainly NOT the same. If vendors like these folks to choices or to big box stores a chance don't stand. The worst service I have received from a Mt P company!!!

I have been attempting to find keys. They kept telling me they would call me after the keys came in and it should only take 1-2 weeks for its keys to enter and the keys were in the purchase. I called them later 2 weeks and about 1 week to test and they said the order for the keys were put but had not came in yet. I checked back again about 2-3 weeks later and was told the merchandise that was incorrect had been arranged. Nobody contacted my spouse or me this entire time! I would never recommend this business to anybody! I hope that they do work that is for house locks, not that it would be difficult.
