Cole-Fox Hardware

PS I recommend the Cole Hardware hour that's Wednesday August 21 2019.
The whole store was functional & quite pleasant.
All ideal!! Turned into a smooth system that is retail that is running tonight was greeted at the door Michael whipped up a few batches of paint as he did with potting soil that another clerk helped.

This store is filled to the brim with every instrument tinkering thing you would ever need! And even though it can be overwhelming at first glance, the staff is pleased to assist you find just what you're searching for. Within minutes of stepping someone and asked if we needed anything or had some questions. What could've been a stressful experience turned into a surprisingly delightful trip. And I did not think I'd be saying that about a hardware store!

This is by far the very best hardware store in the San Francisco Downtown Area hands down. The staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I love going downstairs because it's like being on a treasure hunt searching for one of a kind and cool stuff!

Together with the capacity to purchase everything off the internet, who'd have believed there was a need to visit the hardware store again! This place has a decent choice, and staff is helpful and friendly.
Prices can be high occasionally, but you can't beat the convenience. Recently was a thought that is tricky and slow. I managed to stop by here and select up for about $ 1 as they closed

On 2/16, I came in sooner, until 11am, and was able to receive my question answered. But once I got up into the register, I found the tools (I was not 100% convinced about) are not eligible for return, even unused. Well, I'm not any kind of a pro, so I want to take things home to determine if they fit/work. So I left having to go elsewhere.
On 2/10, I stopped at around 1pm. There were lots of consumers, most needing help and definitely not enough employees. I know rents are high and you have to keep employment costs down but maybe have a employee that is rotating . I wandered around 5-10 minutes, got frustrated by the overwhelming racks and went into the Container Store where I was able to get help immediately.
I prefer to shop in companies. I've seen a great deal of changes. I enjoy the areas to be exceptional, and tiny shops like Cole-Fox Hardware create them . I must say, but I was frustrated and came in 2 following Sundays.

So glad I did not buy this on Amazon. Support your local businesses! Mark was super helpful and guided me towards a better solution than what I would have chased with no aid. Thanks!

The fires in California have been generating hella pollutants and the air quality is terrible. Given laws of supply and demand, this store makes the decision to charge around $40 for a mask which Amazon will send free to you for $2 a piece.
Profitable? Yes. Ethical? Nah

This store has everything you could possibly need! The employees are all very happy and engaging. If I am alone or with my husband, the staff is always eager to help me out and also make me laugh. I had a problem with some light bulbs and they gave me no troubles at all with making it right:-RRB- neighborhood store that is great.

Spencer is a champion. I texted in via their website and he got back to me that they might handle my complicated needs. 3 additional shops failed to make the copy I wanted but Spencer came through. 10 stars.

Nice neighborhood (rather ) hardware store. Great inventory interior or regular hardware items as well as home accessories, backpacks, utilitarian items, etc.. It is not and SF big box retailer, although prices are on the side.

Updating to say I got a call after which an email in the friendly team . My part had arrived late, because I compensated me no issue and I apologized for the inconvenience. Pretty customer service all around!

The reviews were no lie. Sounds easy, quick, and painless and took like about a moment!
After the nightmare which was KeyMe giving me keys which didn't even work in my locks, I discovered this place which was near work, appeared professional, also had great reviews.
If you need keys made recommend this place.

I came here to receive a key and it was easy and fast! Key service is straight to the back to the right. $2.81 to get a person functioned key cutting.

Union Square Tradition of a hardware store.   Somehow I past at this place countless times on 4th and assignment until having the need for keys. Multi floor hardware store with a Great Deal of friendly staff and each hardware provide envisioned.    Trance music playing to keep the vibe good, then mixed in some Dave Brubeck Jazz, classy.   Clean, organized but full of choices.    Five stars and past.

I come here to mass amounts of keys. The staff do a fantastic job and are courteous! When I left my order and of the petty cash found it and held onto it until I could come by and retrieve it, I receive my order recently and immediately.

However, apart from their stock, the best thing about this store is the customer service. Any hardware related issue you have will be very well answered. The employees are kind and fun to speak to. Even the cashier was great throwing in little limericks like"congratulations! You've been approved!" When my credit card has been approved.
The people here are agreeable and the stock is great. Stop in Cole's hardware for greater service and even a greater cost in case you are not searching for food or clothes Prior to going to Target.
This store has it all. You will need that is related to repairs, or home improvement, or just maintenance, they've. The store is huge and also to help you find what you need, They've colored strip lights which lead you to the department you're looking for (haha)
I had to, after going here, although I never would have expected to write a Yelp review to get a hardware store.

Appreciate fabulous Cole. Finally made it to their Wed. night"happy hour," which happens occasionally (4p-8p). 20% off all purchases! Totally awesome, & a chance to stock up on household things (again, very helpful staff answering questions & helping locate items). I forgot to mention last review~ they have a sweet"birthday discount" deal: If you happen to be in town on your birthday, go to Cole for buys, & they offer you a discount of percent-which-is-half-your-age (ie~ if you're 36, you get 18% off; if you're 100, you receive 50 percent off). And... they normally have artistic witty creatively themed window displays, using hardware/household objects in artsy entrancing ways.

Amazing customer service each time. A staff member is prepared to help, whether it deciding which product to pick or be locating items in the store.
I arrived in needing an Alan wrench to repair my bike yesterday. I didn't know which size I'd want, so the team member went out to look at my bike and examine wrenches to ensure I got the one that is perfect. I truly enjoyed the time he took to help me out - I will certainly continue shopping here.

I would tell anyone that lives downtown because they're the best in town, to use them for your hardware and copying needs. They can not talk to their store or employees and also have locations in town, but haven't been to them!
This place is my go-to tape, for resources and using keys made. I know I like the small city feel while being slap in the Caribbean hubbub of San Francisco, that Cole-Fox provides. I came to get a house backup and from stepping foot I got my receipt was an adventure of less than ten minutes complete. I like how the employees are constantly going above and beyond to ensure you get the first time to the items, being detailed and so knowledgeable than people usually are.
