My husband and I got locked into our bedroom. Of trying to get out without a tools after an hour and half we called many locksmiths who informed us they could not help. Eventually we called the non-emergency line and believe it or not they said that they would not help. A locksmith set us free from our bedroom prison, got into our front door, and came out. And to top it off they charged us next to nothing. I have never wanted a locksmith but should I do Sunset Lock and Key would be who I call from now on.
I called in the day after my car got locked through injury. Scott and also a tech came to my place and solved my issue and for a fee. They were amazing and very professional.
Sunset is hands down your bet.
Please be aware of additional low life companies as"Locksmith Pros". Before I contacted Sunset Lock and Key, Lock smith send a criminal to my place. He wanted to charge me $255 bucks to start my own door, I declined and went back into my own place. As soon as I checked my car 30 minutes later, the guy had scraped back door the entire side and back. So I am waiting to create a report.
Not great the next time around. Good project the first time programming a fob on a Nissan Maxima. Needed an integral fob programmed for a Mazda 6 and after an hour Scott and his helper gave up and said they'd need to come back. At reaching him after several tries, I gave up and needed somebody else program the key. Not certain why he disappeared apart from maybe he simply did not think he could get the job done...
In addition, both men seemed to know their craft and were quite cordial.
To start with, I was pleased that this company is family owned and neighborhood. There is something quite unsettling when phoning a 702 number along with the"dispatcher" does not even know where you're located and is loath to tell you his/her location also.
Anyway, I phoned and explained my situation asked for a quotewas told they were in the neighborhood and could be. After Scott and Wylie arrived, they determined the most appropriate strategy and explained why (because knowledge is power!) , then got it down. Problem solved and at a fair cost.
