I continued to be amazed by their knowledge and experience and have been utilizing ASL for years. Originally, they managed the locks for my property and recently my condominium. I predicted because our 1936 door hardware chose to lock us out of the house, Now. In one hour, Darren was at our house and repairing the lock to perfect working order. Previous attempts were ineffective telling us that it might cost hundreds of dollars in order for it to work . Darren was professional just how much it'd cost, and also how long it might take. While he was here, we'd him re-key all our outside doors (which had been on our to-do list). Bottom line: this is where to go if you require anything. This morning thank you again ASL for the quick reply!

This family owned establishment is supportive and friendly I wish every business had that spirit. I needed a home key created w/a new registration and Robin took care of everything and made it pleasurable.

After an employee termination last week, we needed 10 locks changed with a couple strange components included. Robin scheduled JD to come outside, he phoned me to let me know he was on his way and he solved our problem (well, at least those linked to guards ) in under 4 hours. He had stories that are humorous and a few excellent tips, which are always appreciated.
I was known to them by one of their big residential clients in Arlington, also after frantically calling locksmiths all over DC who advertised emergency service (but could not make it for a couple of days, two didn't reveal at all), I smartened up and known as AS&L. Robin scheduled it all for me I understood what time they'd arrive, along with the 2 guys last summer were fantastic.

Organizing the appointment to the locksmith with Robin was simple. The day of the appointment, the locksmith showed up on time and he completed according to the estimate and the job efficiently. I appreciated that the locksmith explained the alternatives concerning the price and safety factors for my scenario.

This place is excellent. They're always very friendly and turn key copies very quickly out. Their place has street parking if you are coming from one angle, and a parking lot if you are coming from the rear end of the business.

I am awarding a score for this business' customer parking lot. It's entirely too small in dimension with parking areas.

I can't say. I've used Area Safe and Lock twice now - once for an after hours crisis the second and all of my doors to re-key. Their customer service is top notch and their technicians are some of the very knowledgeable and useful tradesmen/women I've ever hired. Once they had been so reassuring, when I called frantic and a person was at my door in ten minutes. Utilize ASL-you won't be sorry, Should you require a locksmith!

Front lock worked intermittently. I couldn't count in my door unlocking. I had to use the door. That was a true security issue. If Freddy Krueger crushed through my door, I would not have escaped through my door. And these knives for fingers would have done a real job Freddie is one guy!
When completed he handed me his card. I told him I had another card upstairs. Well, it happens that more than ten years back, he visited my home to install locks.
How awesome is that!
To the rescue came Jim! All I needed was for the two bolts that are deceased to be cleaned and lubed. Jim is one guy that is charming. Very affable. And he knows his stuff.

They did my house and the service was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. I return to get same thing and some copies made. They are highly recommended by me.
They can help also, if you become locked out. I have locked out on a holiday weekend and they said that they could help but warned about the vacation cost - I opted to get back in.

Additionally, I called them about trimming a car key, a service that they do not offer. Not just was the phone picked up by a real man after 2 rings, but he immediately gave me a local shop that provides that service's title.
As my go-to shop for my locksmithing needs, knowing that if they can't take action, they will still be pleasant and allow me to get my needs met I will continue to use Area Safe & Lock.
On occasions, I've taken commercial locks in to acquire re-keyed. Not only have they been very valuable & extremely quick using the turnaround, but they've been priced in a way I'm not used to seeing out of locksmiths.

Darren from Lock and Area Safe not just found a secret but left me a new one! In addition, he changed another lock and made new keys. He was efficient and very nice. Thanks again!

They came to my home to repair two deadbolts. They were able to schedule an appointment and the locksmith arrived punctually. He was friendly and efficient. The locks work great, and he explained how I could fix it myself time to save money. This is my third time hiring Area Safe & Lock, and that I can use them again.

Initially I was impressed by the lady answering the call as usually they don't understand much technical info and set the appointment. She even helped me understand the lock's kind its main part is without altering the entire lock, interchangeable and I've. The exact same day support, they provided me. The gentleman that came to perform the job was educated and quite experienced also friendly and quite respectful.
The cost was may be $20 higher than another quote I got (another wouldn't offer me same day service), but I'm quite happy with the choice and so thankful for their service. They have a system set up! Great Job team!

This place does work. They're the people to visit Should you will need a locksmith. They fixed it correctly and took the opportunity to explain the problem. You can ask them any question and they will usually have a response for you.

I had the misfortune of locking myself out of my home. Thankfully a neighbor let me look up and get Area Safe & Lock Service. They were professional and very considerate and came quickly. The only reason is that they are pricey. It was $125 for the few minutes it took the guy to unlock my door.

Bottom Line family business with exceptional client support and product knowledge.
I am an Area Safe and Lock customer for life, after making the mistake of walking to some Baldino's lately.
We have been doing business with these guys for a long time now, and I can honestly say they are the best game in town when it comes to locks. They know their products/services, are prompt when you need at home service to come to you, and they are considerate.

Jim, the locksmith was quite nice, explaining and answering any question I had.
I went with them because they were the locksmith company that installed the locks, and among the few.
I had to have two at the backyard, two for the front door, and 4 locks rekeyed. They charge 15/key backup for the lock keys. In addition they charge a 75 dollar labour, which I wasn't told about when I got a quote.
All told, It disturbs nearly 450 for of the work. Prices may vary, as the guards I have would be type that is quite secure, the higher end.

I can not say enough good things about Area Safe & Lock! We needed to receive our doorways also from the first phone call, Robin was very helpful - provided to send someone. Their prices were not just aggressive, but lower compared to four locksmiths I spoke to. They didn't charge us for supplying multiple keys. The locksmith arrived on time, just when they said they would; and he had been very quickly - it had been completed within 30 minutes.
What happened next deserves a ten-star review, although We're more than pleased with their level of customer support! Our grandma got locked outside the house and the keys were inside, along with our old son, the same day! The locksmith was called by us, a bit panicked, and they hurried back and had the door unlocked over 15 minutes - free of charge.
It was great working with such a friendly, and customer. Here is the only locksmith I can use later on! Patronize a small business that is regional that is great!
