There were a couple of different problems with our doorway, but he differentiated to track. The extra labor for the next part was much less than I anticipated and I was happy to have the work completed at a reasonable price.
I am glad to know they are in the neighborhood.
1 afternoon the interior push plate on door stopped working, and we could no longer exit our castle through the hall! The following morning I called locksmiths to get estimates on the job, and among the few to provide a flat fee to me was Humberto in Aguilar. It was a really fair rate later confirming the part that is necessary and he arrived a mere hour.
I called Aguilar and that I received friendly, experienced service with pricing. I hope you will too.

My go to every moment. The prices are fair. They're quickly in response. My dog nicely I locked myself out and ran out before I can grab my keys. Fortunately I had my phone. I phoned and they came in 10mins I was in my house within another 10mins. That was great I was freezing like a idiot in shorts and a hoodie. I alter called them to have some of my locks rekeyed. And will continue to do business with this small family operated company. Good job guys thanks again

Needed to modify door lock. They came out fast and replaced the lock gave 4 keys to me. Would def recommend

WARNING, FALSE ADVERTISING by those folks, the bald man and his son with glasses, made me purchase a key that didnt work and I paid 250 plus they didnt give me my money back also, had them come to fix my key to my automobile and it had been lately also broken into after they shifted my key. This place is quite fishy!

Automatic recommendation!
Cool.
They are a family owned company that is walking distance. As it pertains to some issues our move to guy's.

These men have helped me out on two occasions. One was and yet another was a secret for my storm door. They are knowledgeable in their industry and that I expect them to get things. I will not be going anywhere else.

Attempted to price gouge for a column . Attempted to charge me $155 and billed me $55 in August 2015. Then had the nerve to state that they weren't able to ganurantee it would work but payment would be expected. I went on Cicero to J & A and it was considerably cheaper. I would never go here. Work and pricey not ganuranteed.

That I had a robbery in my property just another day. . The exact same day, it really left me no choice but to call a Locksmith to have them come and see what they can do, Alex came out. He came and fortified my door and placed knobs and locks! He was efficient, fast and very respectful! After such a disastrous event, it feels good to feel some type of reassurance. I would highly recommend Sons & Aguilar!

Bert bought the store years ago and with the store he obtained an old cigar box full of keys. Within 5-10 minutes of coming, he and his child had the cabinet open and subsequently spent the rest of the time modifying one of the classic keys so that it would match our cabinet. Very reasonably priced and so were in a few hours of contacting them initially at our home.
Their stock of keys is operating non - I'm sure they would be delighted to take them, if you have any that you don't need or desire.
We had the unfortunate experience of losing the secret. I predicted seven or six locksmiths in near west suburbs and the Chicago, and among them recommended Aguilar & Sons Locksmiths.

They had been the ONLY independent lock smith. Toyota has it put up so you have to visit the dealership and pay $500 for one key that is new. They gave me new keys for less than $200.... I live in Lincoln Park and it was worth the drive! A fantastic family-run business you can trust!

It's wonderful the way my bad experience was brought down. Allow the reviews on. The safety camera records should be looked on by the father. Look at the date it's self explanatory.

Prompt, quick, and very competitive pricing for unlocking my vehicle. Will be added to connections for many key needs.

Highly Recommend. This establishment provides honest, efficient, and friendly service. I had an emergency last night and called about 4 additional Locksmiths (Mobile companies. Don't bother with these places service is exactly what you may get. Talking from an adventure back in August), the proprietor of this business was understanding of my situation and has been great assistance. Thank you much.

Thank you Bert.
The shop might appear somewhat far for some who live close to downtown, but is off of convenient bus routes if you need to leave a car (my expertise, however, was that they operate quite quickly and economically ). It is worth your trip.
The driver's door entry lock stopped working in my van. After being advised by the dealer that the manufacturer had ceased making the fashion of lock I called around for help. An attorney in my neighborhood told me that Bert Aguilar and his sons would be the people to get for the occupation, stating that they were great at tinkering and taking things apart. I took the proposal and was pleased with the price and speed of the job.

On Monday at 3:30pm, I attempted another locksmith they could not fit me in until Wednesday and I had good luck with in the past. Since the reviews for nearby locksmiths were not confidence inspiring, I nearly didn't bother calling others.
Within an hour, Aguilar got somebody despite the fact that I was in Oak Park. It ended up being a tougher job than anticipated, but they obtained they fixed my mortise lock at was a reasonable cost.

After a pair of keys went missing Desired a bunch of lock cylinders rekeyed. Apparently locksmiths have hours since the first one I went to shut.
They have got my company from now on.
Luckily, Sons and Aguilar were open till three. They took my big bag of cylinders, rekeyed everything crucial, since it was falling apart even rebuilt one of them. The guys helped me through all of the options I had figuring out the best method to get everything, and there were very patient.

I've been getting my keys made at Sons and Aguilar for several years. They made the keys correct without any difficulties. I had been told the key had been made somewhere else and the key wasn't made by them and I was mistaken. I believe I would understand where I have the key. The accusation was a blow to me personally and to top it off the man tells me he doesn't make mistakes. I believe most of us understand most of us do make errors and that no one is ideal, so for him to say that is incorrect and poor customer support. Being Vice President of client support for a business in Chicago, its certainly not how I would expect my employees to take care of customers. I will certainly travel a bit father to get my keys made going forward. Awful Customer Services.

After a recent burglary, and remembering the experience I had with a Oak Park locksmith, I chose to try a brand new. Aguilar is a family enterprise. I told me what sort of locks I was searching for, talked on the phone to one of the sons and obtained his advice about options. As promised another brother came to my home a few hours later. He also installed two deadbolts and the hardware was exactly as advertised, fitting my hardware and keyed. I paid with a credit card and the cost was fair. The installation was first rate - the keys work and the operation is actually easy.

My mom has hired Berto open her car and to emerge. So when my home was burglarized and needed a locksmith to change the locks she'd recommended Sons and Aguilar. I had been told there would be a service fee to come out and look at it. I thought this was really steep considering I live 5 blocks away. My door was without a lock so I said OK because my home was so exposed. When Berto and his son came they shifted 2 locks at $55 per (steep)
From closing all of the way, and charged $20 to clip off a little bit of metal the kept the lock. So at the day's end I dished out $240 to have a dead bolt and a door knob replaced. Locks work good but I wish I had someone to stay home while I rush to buy locks, and watch the door. Instead of $240 it'd have have cost only $60.

That night, my butt was saved by burt and I will forever be grateful. I genuinely hope to never have to call on him again, but I mean that in a way that is good.
It was a cold night, American Idol was going to come on and here I was locked out of my pooches on the side of this door.
Who gonna call?
Ok, so it does not have the exact same flow as the first Ghostbusters tune by Ray Parker Jr. however that song was stuck in my mind the night Burt from A&S got me out of a pretty tight pickle. I will not get into the sticky details of my tale of woe but after a panic attack I called these guys and they were there to help me out in under one hour.
