I called the lock and key to receive a price on obtaining a key and a key fob programmed for my grand Cherokee of Andy and had been told it'd be 65 dollars. As soon as I got there that the worker said that the key and key fob I had bought online would not work due to the button layout even though the button layout was the exact same along with the transponder from the new key I had been trying to get made was just like the old one and then they tried to sell me there essential for 235.00 dollars. I went to ALPINE LOCK AND KEY and they charged me the same price of 65.00 and programmed the secret for me and works just fine. Will never return to Andy when they won't cut and program the key fob which I purchased.

Great service and quick. 1st cut of my keys was somewhat off(too thick). They handle the issue with elegance and simplicity. I watched customers are served by them . They supply great service and are fast. They can use a vacuum over the carpet up front but that is minor. Thanks guys.

Friendly service and they could cut on some keys the major box stores could not. Prices were reasonable and they have a push window which makes it convenient. They'll be at the top of the list next time I want anything lock/key related.

In Andy's--they have a drive thru window..One notice --Andy said he needed a sour customer, since Andy legally can't make a new automobile key from scratch with no legal identification along with the fitting car registration. . .That legislation is to be sure he isn't keying a stolen automobile...
Andy and his crew run a fantastic shop--They strongly stick to Custer's policy of"Get Er Done!" . . . .Gabriel and Nate both have good attitudes, and like helping clients out. . .Andy is personable and useful --and in Andy's, they convey no attitude just like some Reno stores --who act as though they are doing you a"favor" by working on your own keys and locks...

People didn't want to help out me so I will not visit them and are rude. Proceed to alpine customer experience that is key and lock

Back to Nate; Andy's should be proud and pleased to have a epic person working for them. I must also mention John the man I talked to when I left my appointment. He got my appointment and was very cordial.
Nate was the man that showed up (on time) to do the work for me. I found him sweet and quite professional. We had enjoyable dialogue and he gave me some tips and suggestions about the entire Reno scene; that is invaluable to somebody like me that isn't knowledgeable about the area very well...
He did a stellar job; I had been anxious to have the locks changed because I had a panic that the vendor might be coming to the house. . .We closed escrow two weeks past. Things did not go well in the finish with our vendor so I don't want him on MY property.

Till my husband lost his house key, I've driven past this place so many times and never will need to stop and I kept locking him. So after work I drove up to the window and asked to me for two keys.
The service was quick and friendly!! The key were cheap too, I've paid more for one crucial at Wal-Mart than I did for two here. I will use this place !!

We had a terrific experience with Andy's Lock & Key! Travis came out a day later we called and changed the locks on our whole house. He was able to place a deadbolt in front door using the present hole, which he explained was difficult to do. I had given him the fine to a deadbolt hole, but was pleasantly surprised when he did not need to!

Easy to find, a little building near IHOP and BofA.
They took my initial key, programmed it and issued to me under 15 mins. Plus they cost was less than HALF of what other locksmiths quoted.
When entering a close by 23, I dropped my collection of keys such as the home and car key and was recommended this location.
I drove up- yes they have a drive up choice - and was serviced.

I dropped the keys to 2 Master padlocks that kept the gate up on my trailer. I went to Lowes and they advocated a bolt cutter. This product did not even scrape on the surface of this padlocks. I then stopped at Andy's Lock and Key, they were busy but when my turn came up they had the locks open in a matter of minutes. I was able without lifting the clippings over the tailgate to unload my trailer. This is the second time I have had good service . I strongly recommend.

There hours are fair and there's a push window for picking up your keys. Very convenient addition. They had customized keys. I received an image of some custom essential shaped like an AK-47 along with a tommy gun. This is haha. I am seriously thinking about getting one. They have those magnet essential box there for your car keys. Great thing you lose your key. Get it under your vehicle to a magnet box and key. They're good at what they do. I have never had issues with them.
Andy's Lock & Key is a great spot for your own lock and key problems. I went to get a lock onto a drawer repaired and it was not your regular lock. They special ordered it although it was not in stock. So I left the lock there with them so they could get it for comparison. The lock was taken by them and got my contact information. They said when they obtained the replacement lock , they would call me.
I really had to come from the next day. With me arriving in a day 16, so when I came in they had no problem. They're extremely accommodating and easy going about it. They didn't have a problem regarding payment for the job they did. I don't believe they real charged me for the setup. These guys are excellent. Their customer service is excellent, the staff is friendly and knowledgable.

Andy's Lock & Key gave us such a wonderful experience. The best locksmith I've ever been to. Locksmith places were either too expensive or inexperienced. Nate helped us out and he gave us friendly, amazing and extraordinary service. Would definitely recommend for any service. I will return!

They were great! In the Client service rep on the telephone, the turn around was only 15 minutes and he was so quickly. Couldn't let me a cost that is upfront.
