Desert Locksmiths had no unexpected fees, did exactly what they contracted to do, were pleasant about it all, maintained their appointment, and had a Veterans Discount.
Hours say that they open at 830am. As soon as I arrived 9:40 that they weren't open and did not answer any telephone numbers posted out front. 2 of that were disconnected. If your gonna run a shop front company posted hours. I like supporting local company normally but I drove 20 miles to get here to learn no one. Change hours? Be available!
We attempt to support local businesses as much as we could, but will not be returning. We had to have all of the info for the lock we wanted; they had been no help in attempting to figure out what we needed at all. Then they ordered the wrong item (denied they did) and charged a restocking fee. We arrived only to learn they had not rekeyed it, therefore we had to wait and incur another cost After we got the right things. If you would like to thrive as a organization, you need to offer over the big box stores. Help your clients! We are not handy, we want guidance. These people don't know how to do that n
Was at my home within half an hour and had the lock transformed in roughly 5 minutes. Carl made sure my needs were fulfilled before leaving and was very friendly.
I moved there to get 4 keys made.
Charged $6 for two keys. There's an additional charge to use a credit 19, when I pulled out my credit card to pay. He proceeded to tell me I was when I told the guy I would not hesitate and I wasn't pleased with the service. I believe a look in the mirror would be suitable for him when he wishes to see rude. I must have pushed the couple of miles like I do, to go to Andy's. I wouldn't go to Desert when I was locked out of my home and car and they have been giving out free keys.
They could just make two of the 4 and have been rude about it telling me what the would not do for me.
Fantastic service throughHe gave me a price range while being honest and even let me know I do not have to create an appointment for duplicating a house key. When I arrived it had been gage who helped me. He was kind and professional and copied my key
I talked to gage and called
I called to inquire about a car key and the woman asked me whether the key had buttons on it. I told her , she said that it would be $67 to replicate it. So I advised her, ok I will be over. I showed up and she showed the key to a different guy and the guy asked her if she had quoted me. She said, yeah but I informed her I needed to observe the key. So 3 mins after, she comes and tells me that the key would be $140.00. She said that she thought my key had buttons on it and stated that because it doesn't it would be more. I told her I had my very own remote control that I bought, and she explained that there was a chance that was 40-60 since it was bought on eBay that the remote will not work. So she needed me to pay $140 for a car key for a Toyota 2005 Highlander. I advised her that I have been quoted $80 in places and that I'd consider it. I called my remote controller was programmed by them and Alpine and they billed me $67 for the key and it works great. Sadly, I wouldn't suggest this place. I felt like they needed to make the most of me. You'd feel that keys that have the doorway to open on the key would be more. I got. Do not know where they obtained the 140 from. I'm glad I did not pay this amount.
Because I needed a quick in my home, I predicted Desert Locksmith today. So this was somewhat of a bet they had been the first in my search. I'd called a few different local locksmiths. One woman I spoke to was rude and the man I spoke to from yet another company wasn't able same moment to come.
She advised me that she'd arrive within the hour after talking to Amber. Not only did Amber arrive within the time that she said, however, she took care of three different (slightly complicated-(1)three point locking) locks. Amber was not only professional but I felt very comfortable with her in my home. There was another serviceman. I was very impressed. The price for of the work was fair. I will use them and would recommend Desert Locksmith.
These Folks are WONDERFUL! Service the"Old School" way is disappearing these days. Not at this location. They are top notch!
My 1999 Honda Odyssey Drivers Door would not open. If it could not open, benny explained there would be no charge. I checked out a couple other local locksmiths and they did not even want to attempt the job! Even a Body Shop spent some time trying to start with no fortune. I bought the door latch from Honda and returned into Desert Locksmiths to have the task.
Consistently honest and support is great without a delay!!! I have used this company for several years. They are highly recommended by me
Desert Locksmiths does an amazing job for us. They helped get us to our construction when someone damaged the guards preventing us from opening for business. They helped us with instructions to replace the batteries for our safe when they started going bad. They swung from the next day to find out whether everything went smooth. I would highly suggest them. They are reliable and go out of their way to make sure their clients get top quality service.
Rude...To start with calling a locksmith and that I can't feel a business would have a rude individual answer the telephone. I had been unsure so that I said I had three doors rekeyed of what information was needed. I had been told by the woman and just kept talking. I stated there have been three deadbolts and two grips. She said today I can assist you. what???? Rather than saying I can't assist you why did not she just ask me about that. We are currently taking our company else where today. Thank you for nothing.
Support on all levels. The staff is efficient and friendly. I've had them change the lock after a roommate left and would not return my keys and they were dispatched in less than one hour to my house. I have my keys created here today. Accessories; such as these rocks you can hide a secret in or simply a a clip for your belt, were over-priced in contrast to other places, although prices for keys are reasonable. 'Great assortment of decorated secrets in several designs, colors or patterns that are specific for soccer teams and a few careers are offered.
I recently set up a new place for my organization and also I coped with, Dallas was the best. I called to get a quote ( one of 4) Dallas came out, made suggestions asked smart questions about what I wanted and the way I was planning to use the several doors and locks. He was pleasant and quick to get it completed, when he came to do the work. I appreciate the quality of the work. I shall use him every time I want a locksmith
I can not recommend Desert Locksmiths enough! Fantastic service and they won't jack up the price.
I began having issues with my lock my gun. The problem. . .It would not unlock. I predicted Cannon Safes. They said they'd guarantee the lock, but not the install. I called several places in the city. Benny at Desert came , undoubtedly, as the very knowledgable. She was the one. . .way under. $125. At first, I thought this can not be right. Alpine quoted me over $300. I went with Benny because she appeared to know what she was talking about and that she was more affordable.
Today was my appointment. . .less than an hour was outside and in. New lock on the secure...$140 was the entire price. I'm so glad that I went with Benny!
I've been going to Desert Locksmiths for several years now. Prior to now, it had been for small items...a new key, a small lock, etc.. They have always done good work. After the guy at Home Depot made me I went to Desert. . .no problem.
I predict Desert Locksmiths after reading reviews. I wanted my previous lock changed out on my National Security gun safe to the touch pad lock that was new. I spoke with Benny and had an appointment that day. They said Joe was running a bit late and called. 10 min. Later Joe went to work swapping the lock out and shows up. Joe explained every detail of everything he do 40 min. He was completed. Joe knows his stuff concerning gun locks. Quite pleased. Get your test book ready since it is not cheap. . .but well worthwhile.
I called these men to change several locks. Very very good support. Right on time. Cost was fair. I'd call them again.
One key for the unit rather than six. Put Desert Locksmiths on vehicle dial.
Roy from Desert Lock Smiths shows up, and he produced four tenant keys: individually locking keys that accessed door and patio door if asked to rekey the package. Additionally, a MASTER key bedrooms and entry doors to your manager.
The locks in suites at the Edge at Reno are complex. There are keyed door locks, and patio door. This demanded six keys to handle for dozens of units.
Benny at Desert Locksmith Has Been AMAZING.My child broke the lock on my car glove box and it has only been hanging open for weeks. The dealer said it wasn't fixable and would cost tens of thousands of dollars for a glove box. My dad said"try Desert Locksmith first. They are very helpful and know their stuff". I moved and in fifteen minutes Benny had it fixed with a smile.
I would recommend this company and will be back.
They came to fix a lock. The technician said that those locks could slide as they age, then he changed the tumbler on a garage door lock for me to operate off the key and fixed it. $90. Never recommended replacing it. For the time that I went to use my front door, on Friday of the exact same week, and the lock failed . They came out and replaced the lock. $120.01. They charged me a trip cost of $60. I feel like if the lock was bad the technician fixed the problem and should have advised replacing it. RIP OFF !
