My neighbor downstairs has been locked from her apartment and requested me to assist in finding a locksmith. They arrived on a Friday They were even more efficient and very friendly when they got there. Her door was open before I could walk downstairs into my neighbors apartment and she was inside obtaining her credit card!
Their cost was reasonable and that I really don't wish to market it but it was comparable (actually cheaper) to the other locksmiths we called/who responded. For it for a Friday and at 5:30 pm they got back to me super quickly when quotation request was routed out by me and like I mentioned, they showed up and were performed before I walked downstairs. I really do and I would certainly use them again recommend them
The lock and security company I've ever dealt with. Their technical cams outside to rekey two doors in our house and an outside bathroom. Following a very short while the two doors which were re-keyed broke and an outside bathroom key stopped working. I called Archer's business back to have their technician come to fix the issue. The technical said he could not do anything because he is unfamiliar with French doors, (then why would you take on a project in the first place?!?!?) . I had to speak to the business where the doors were manufactured, and order new components that needed to be altered inside the panel because apparently the Archer's technician didn't do the job correctly in the first place and thats left the mechanism to shake. My frustration was around the roof. The owner of the business, jerry was incompetent provide some credit or to resolve the issue. Archer's lock and security technicians are not professionals and lack knowledge!!!
My roommate and I moved into a new flat and needed to receive our mailbox lock. They were quick to reply to my messages and also the appointment was quick and easy! John was fine helped us! Certainly would recommend to friends and will call again when we've got any locksmith needs. Thanks again!
My HOA so as provided me this number to acquire a key replacement. The guy that answered the phone appeared to be confused on what I wanted him to do so as to change the lock (YOU are the locksmith, sir), then guided it would be at least 4 days prior to any work could be accomplished. I advised I will call another firm to complete the work because I could probably get it taken care of at a fashion. He said yup, then hung up the phone.
Stellar service. Pleasure doing business with you...
I found Archer's Lock and Safety on Yelp and called when my key broke off in my 1936 front door lock. Jerry, the manager said he'd send someone straight away and soon John that the repairman showed up. He removed the key that was broken and forced the lock mechanism work. Through no real fault of John's, later that afternoon the lock slipped again and that I called Jerry who had been very understanding; as dusk fell, John was obtained by him back into my home over the hour. I was sure the lock would need to be scrapped and a new lock set up that would not be in keeping with the door nor the period architecture's plan. For the next hour John took apart the mortise lockshowed me how it worked, found broken springs but managed to repair it. Incredible! When it gives up the ghost then John created an elegant solution for the long run. Although the trip was difficult and lengthy, and not their fault, Jerry and John did not bill me ! John was very professional, the best locksmith experience I have had. In the past other locksmiths have only patched the problem. And John was an all around great guy, funny and friendly.
I moved in having to break off the lock of my luggage (I locked the keys inside it). Jerry was fine enough to cut off, took him less than 5 minutes and charged me 0. Very thankful! This shop is excellent!
I dropped my key to storage to them. They arrived cut on my lock and a new lock was bought by me . There is my were reasonable in price and service great.
It doesn't get better than these guys. . .their support is superlative! Consistent, reliable, capable service irrespective of your requirements, they can handle anything from battery replacements or basic key, to security set-ups.
A company that's really worthy of our patronage. Check them out my YELPERS!
It does not hurt that they're so personable! I walked in there just as they were prepared to shut, and I had been helped rather than being told to come back. A lot of places in Los Angeles will only point to the"closed" sign from the window and shrug, lol, which I respect because in the event that you miss their hours it isn't really fair to make them remain later simply to help you, correct? Butagain, these guys are eager to exceed the expectations of one and they always do that in my own book.
When we moved to our Encino home we had our locks are replaced by Archer. The hardware was provided by us and they set up it fast and neatly. A couple of months later we had an issue with our lock, unrelated to their work. They sent someone up within an hour. They fixed it and did not charge- they simply did it as a courtesy! Impressive, nobody does business like this! Archer has our company for life! :)
Good location, the employees are always awesome in there. Takes me back!
They can do everything for you, nothing is too much trouble for them, such as resetting a safe combo in a safe lid for a friend who'd lost the mix.... Even if the combo was forgotten by her and could not get it to work!
Nothing is too much trouble, and they do house calls ...
It's so rare to find anybody in business now that cares about what their client's think which amazed me and impressed. He requested me to write a review on Yelp and I consented to do so. Now that this issue has been resolved, I'd use them again because of the concern for his client and how he coped with the situation of Tim. Incidentally, their work was great and the Technician was friendly and helpful.
I went into the shop to purchase a lock for my door. I had been told the Service Call will be $65.00 and the lock could be $60.00 plus tax. I agreed to the price and said I'd pay for it then, but he said no, perhaps they could fix the lock after the job was done, so it would be safer to pay the Technician. O.K. that made sense and I requested for a Service Technician to come by to install it. It required the Technician less than 5 minutes to modify the lock. When he gave me my invoice, he charged $20.00 for labour. Rather than take this I called to ask why had been a labour fee for 5 minutes work. I felt that should have been included at the $65.00 Service Call. I was told someone would call me back. I was called by one of those Manager's, tim and I expressed my criticism. He listened to what I had to say and asked that I do the very same, which I did. He explained he couldn't send anybody out for less that $85.00. The Service Phone was $65.00. He said no, it was really $85.00 but rather than telling you up front, they say $65.00 and then charge $20.00 for labour. I said if this was true, why not say that up front, rather than conceal it so I could decide if I wanted to pay that price, as I'd prefer knowing the fees. Tim acknowledged that their agent did misrepresent what the actual charge would be and offered to repay the $20.00 labour charge. He had been CARED AND REASONABLE ABOUT. He was EXTREMELY COURTEOUS and WANTED TO KEEP HIS CUSTOMER.
I called and scheduled an appointment and I had been given a cost which we agreed upon.Four days later, on the afternoon of my appointment, the individual that had quoted me managed to totally overlook our conversation about the cost that we agreed on and quoted me a higher cost. My time was wasted by him and I had to search for another locksmith.
Used to be under the Title Encino Lock and I've used Encino Lock over the past 20 years. http://www.yelp.com/biz/encino-lock-and-key-service-encino
NOTE FYI, Owner Ron passed away. Friend of family that worked there, Matt, now possesses the store under Archer's Lock. Great support. Don't be fooled by companies claiming to be Encino Lock. Compare telephone, address, testimonials, see my review link:
Always great service and ethics.
Came in here to get a home key remade since I've misplaced mine, and these 2 dudes working the register were the best! They were helpful, friendly, and very nice to talk to. I'm very happy with my key and I'm happy I decided to visit them for my key cutting needs:-RRB- The only problem is parking... it is a bit awkward. Lucky for me, I moved at 9 am I could back out and so Ventura was empty. But I can see how it could be hard and awkward to escape from. Other than that service for a price and it took them 2 minutes! Thanks guys :D

Not'just another location' to get keys made, this is THE location for that AND MORE! #greatcustomerservice
Stressful jammed padlock situation was resolved in a couple of minutes! Thank you, John!

Friendly, quick courteous guys. I live a long way off but will likely apply these fellows again anyway.
