I locked my keys in my car (gasp!) And also my fiancé was inaccessible to bring my set so I requested some quotes on Yelp. Not merely did Columbus Locks and Keys respond but they provided a reduction for Yelp users!! and supplied the most competitive rate
I appreciated that they came out sooner than the time so I was able to get back in my car even sooner than I had expected. I hope I never lock my keys in my car but if I do, I know I am going to call!!
The employee who came out was quite professional and opened my own car! I was so impressed. I didn't have cash on me so I could cover him but that had been prepared to meet with me at a bank nearby. It was a situation that was resolved easily and quickly.

That day, showed and reset all of my deadbolts!

Locked my keys in my car... They quoted me a 25min wait and apx. 50min of waiting and $124 later I'm back in my vehicle. "Different cars are different costs" he explained. I have a Toyota Camry that is standard. Took him less than a minute to unlock my car, don't understand why it could be expensive. These men take advantage of people which are in a bad situation. Don't call them.

Perfect! My hero Roy made me feel so safe and unlock my home front door! I lost my house keys on my brother and he managed to come into our location I asked for a quote using Yelp app and I am responded by them less than 3 minutes. He asked my information prior and was my aid in less than 15 minutes.I asked him when he can come in the morning/noon time in the afternoon afterwards, in order to Re-Key the rear door and he provide to rescue me the service call and he managed to finish the rear door in 10 minutes. The guy had bunch of guards and he found me a brand new brand lock smart series to coincide with my digital keypad lock . Together with it that the whole process was coupled with pricing that is dependable and comfy, friendly. The very best customer service expertise

Has been and got an estimate for $130 dollars told a technician would call me shortly. Took 30 minutes to the technician and I had been quoted for $240. Waited 40 minutes and technician calls me and says that he really does not have the parts...

I don't recommend this service!!! The guy drive up in a classic car with no company marking on clothing, car or receipt. He was 4 minutes to slide a metal strip down our door into the house from the garage and charged me $99! My daughter had all her guards changed for $50. This is a firm that is totally unprofessional!

Hassan was excellent. Came minute to rekey my location and has been fast and very professional! Brought finished within 30 mins and all supplies! Highly recommend.

Very disappointed in the quality of work. My wife and I had purchased a new house so I called to make an appointment to have of the locks replaced. I talked to Roy, made the appointment, and asked if they needed the particulars of the number of doors, what type of locks, etc.,. He told me he didn't require all that because they keep everything enough to perform 6 or 5 homes. Time rolled around, they called me before to confirm that I would be there and they were in their way. When they came - it wasn't Roy but another tech - my wife showed him exactly what we wanted, and it was that he did not have color or the brand . He didn't even have enough to perform the same color to all of the locks, we'd have had to have a mixture of stone & silver. We decided to simply have him of the present locks, and put in another deadbolt in one of those doors. He did not have. Instead, he re-keyed all the grips had to come back the next day to re-key the deadbolts and put in the new one - that was not the color we wanted. He put them back on upside-down, after rekeying the grips.
We called to tell them and Roy said they would be out to fix it. They shipped the same tech - again, not Roy - who had set up the locks at the first place. We picked ourselves out and ended up calling the other locksmith, who is presently replacing all our locks with ones we went to Home Depot and devoting that. With every door, the locksmith that is new is finding things which were messed up from the first tech.
Fast forward and we started having difficulty. Each time we used it, the manage got looser and looser, to the point where we could see through the hole at the door. The lock of that handle, on the inside ceased functioning. The deadbolt in the same door also stopped functioning - the key didn't lock and only kept spinning, when we attempted to lock it from the exterior. Ultimately, a week to the day after our appointment, the handle fell off entirely. From the outside, the deadbolt was EXTREMELY hard to unlock on the other door. I couldn't get it unlocked at all, and my wife could.

I needed to use their services again, only this time I left me stranded for 2 hours. No one showed up. I called several times. The lady said she was going to attempt to contact him to find out what took so long and would call me back. I called back but no one answered. Called a few times response. They called me back. Absolutely dreadful.

I dropped my whilst walking my dog and did not have a program. The technician (Roy) called and said he'd be about 15 minutes, and was right on time. Because of the sort of lock I had he was unable to pick at it, but was able to drill the deadbolt. He stored the bottom lock and even the replacement and the lower lock to match the door. Wonderful man, and the service was superb. Quite satisfied with the service.

Friendly service. Considerably more convenient and affordable than visiting a dealership to find a key made.

So I decided to have a chance calling Columbus Locks & Keys and Roy the supervisor dealt with me. .he spent approximately 30 min going over all my options with me. I am more than pleased with the service. Despite the reviews on Yelp this company has over 72 positive reviews on Google I encourage anyone to provide these guys a chance.

This company has restored my faith! I got a flat tire and then locked myself out of my car (not my very best night)! When Ron from Columbus Locks and Keys obtained there, he not only got me in to my vehicle but he helped me to change my flat tire (in November!) He was kind and professional. I'd have been stranded without him! Thanks again:)

Great support! Guy came and aided reprogram my car because I got just one crucial. He showed me each step and verified that he did exactly what he said he would do. I would call them again!

I was charged $149.00 for the installation of a deadbolt that doesn't work. I was locked out of my residence. Serviceman attempted four times to install a lock on my front storm door and not only was unsuccessful, but badly damages both the door handle, (screws are missing), and all but ruined the hardware on the door frame where the door used to latch. I called and was told I would receive a callback in ten minutes. I was confident everything would be repaired to my own satisfaction. I never heard from this business.

Just used these men to do a couple of master keys and locks in our office building. They also did a great job and were easy to work with. They seemed very knowledgeable, although I really don't know shit about secrets, so who am I to say. The system they put in place has functioned and has been installed at a affordable price. The only knock I have is that they have been assumed to follow to execute a job that remained outstanding, but never did. In any event, should we have any lock and key demands, I plan to use them.

I called these men. I needed a new one made to cut on it to and had lost my keys to a 2006 F-150. Roy was helpful and very friendly, informing me and giving me a very inexpensive quotation somebody could be here to help in 20 minutes. For a service I didn't even know could be achieved, he was very reassuring. Going to use these men in the future.

The dispatcher said it'd be $15 for the driver to get out then and there $23-$45 to remove the lock depending upon the lock, and they might have someone outside in 30-35 minutes. Ok. Waited an hourcalled dispatch to be certain that they were our site. He said the locksmith could be there in 15 minutes. It ended up being 40 minutes. The locksmith was favorable (reason for two * instead of 1) and also got the lock (small, inexpensive padlock) off in 2 minutes. The entire bill ended up being $19 for its driver, $45 for its elimination, and $4.80 in taxation for a grand total of $68.80. All for 40 minutes and 1 hour of waiting and two minutes of work. Highway robbery. Had they offered us $65 in the beginning (as other companies did) it wouldn't be bad, but I'm not sure what would have qualified for the $23 fee if that did not.
