Dorchester Locksmith

Called modify the lock, and to get locks re-keyed. I thought the office was down the road from me, as they have a Dorchester address on site. Was assured the cost was $29.00 for service call, and $25-$55 for guards. I made it clear I needed a regular appt., no hidden fees, emergency, night appointment, weekend apt expenses, etc.. The gentleman seemed confused about the Dorchester office recorded on site, and arrived from Brighton. He started throwing all sorts of pricing that was crazy . I thought it had been $29.00 for service? That's just to appear he explained. I had been in the house, with my 2 kids. I did not need to argue, therefore I asked only to have my aluminum lock on my mailbox altered ($5.00 lock). What was I suppose to do - I felt as I had to cover him, I really had no choice - he arrived in a car, not a company van, and I did not know this guy. Please, please, do not utilize this particular service, $156.00 to get a $5.00 lock. I've got the receipt if nobody believes me. I feel ashamed I was so duped!
