Joey arrived to replace my locks. He was tidy, professional and efficient.
The customer service is superb. Excellent response time and most of my questions were answered prior to the ceremony.
Good service from a great company. Will recommend.

Had a crisis on Wednesday and they came with within one hour and helped me get the key that is right so that I would not have an issue . It was pricey but the reassurance was definitely worth it.

Lock smith finished installing my door lock! What

Moved from LES and had 4 doors to alter locks such as a deadbolt. Joey, the technician, came out for a service telephone / evaluation another company as scheduled (ON TIME) and has been very professional walking through a few comprehensive choices (including smart lock) with me. He allow me to change the locks in UNDER 10MIN TOTAL!!! and came back Was only amazed how neat and effective the job was. No hidden fee was pre-quoted without any surprises. I would recommend M&D to anybody who's searching for locksmith.

Installation took about 15 minutes for that we got charged a lot more than what I anticipated from my telephone call where the person who when I inquired just how much replied said"$25 for coming out, then $75 and upwards depending on what you want." Up, up, up, up... plus a very different cost for cash vs. credit card, meaning M&D Locks and Keys likely doesn't want to pay sales tax AND eyeballs the customer to ask only a hair less than that which would draw"Get lost, I do not actually need you."
ETA: M&D read this review and courteously asked on my side of the narrative. In turn I learned their side and am currently raising my celebrity count by one (in exchange for no $ or other reimbursement ). My experience can't be produced optimistic, but I think M&D acted in good faith. We've got a wonderful well-functioning brand new lock and also some insight into the business that is locksmith. Ugh. Prompt, and capable enough, however I really don't recommend. Locksmithery is something for which people actually require reviews that are online that are trustworthy. Yelp, not simply M&D Locks and Keys, let us down.
Lured to M&D by the reviews that are great, I'm disappointed. The locksmith arrived when he said he'd but I needed to explain an aspect of the job. We needed something which I felt sure was easy but how do you argue with a"professional" who says ooh, might be complex.

Highly recommended, Fantastic service! I had a underside door knob and lockwhich my construction super didn't want to fix, telling me that it was'secure and nice'.
I wanted a second opinion, so I predicted M&D based on the reviews that were great. Joey clarified how UNSAFE it had been and did a great job repairing it and evaluated and arrived my door lock.
Fantastic value and that I feel secure.

After requesting several quotes from several places online and not receiving a reply I called M&D Locks and Keys this afternoon. Was I given a quote, I managed to have an immediate appt this day. Joey came to perform my setup, he was not only professional and prepared to answer my questions, he was quite personable. The horrible parking conditions in my area did not even whine or set off him! His work was fast, and setup work quality. He even offered to tidy up!

I just moved in the next day and my flat I called M&D. The telephone was answered by an excellent woman and advised me for an appointment that same day, sunday morning. Regrettably, the woman's name can't be remembered by me but she delivered my lock to be installed by Joey. He explained the different types of locks. He informed me about the lock to the door was set up. No wonder it's given me problems.

All in all was fantastic! He helped us to include two screws which were missing from the first lock and was quick, fair, and friendly. He noted that without the two screws, anyone would jimmied the lock! Consider customers satisfied! Joey, thanks!
We have been dragging our feet to shifting the locks out and just purchased a condominium. We bought our very own keypad lock Amazon but had trouble uninstalling the present lock, so we called M&D.
Joey came in about an hour and managed to help out us. Turns out the digital lock we purchased was less protected than the existing lock, so he changed the cylinder for the existing lock and reinstalled it for us (after we took it aside. .

I am surely not going to attempt to correct any lock issues myself since, hey, whilst youtube videos are useful for some, I am not an expert. I 'd been with lock issues and was certain of the problem's origin. Based on the positive reviews, I picked M&D. Glad I did!
Joey came on time and had the lock and doorknob. . When I have any other lock issues, I would definitely call them again in the future.

Icalled M&D to replace the lock and 've recently moved into a brand new flat. Leah contacted me personally and we scheduled a time. Afterwards Joey came and began working on the lock. Apparently did a dreadful job and with no understanding I might see there was a problem with the lock on my door. Joey offered to substitute the entire mechanism rather than the cylinder and seeing the state of the lock I agreed. Put into a cylinder and he then proceeded to replace the mechanism. He explained every detail to me he had been working and repaired a small malfunction.

Thanks for the responsive, quality service in addition to the advise regarding the appropriate locks to place on the door so that it is appropriately secure (he suggested using one deadbolt cylinder with a Mul-T-Lock because of the possibility of somebody"bumping" a standard lock cylinder). I sleep well and needed his advice.
I called M&D to replace the mortise lockset. Joey explained I had the wrong kind of lock. Not wanting to squander the appointment - and also go another day with no doorknob on the apartment, Joey went to his vendor in Williamsburg, secured the right kind of mortise lockset for the door that matched my apartment aesthetic, installed it onto the door and cleaned up the setup area. Due to my steel door, the setup took a bit of time, but Joey finished it and the lock appears great. Most importantly, it was finished by Joey on this day that my builders strip it, can fill in the leftover holes in the door and repaint it.
I replacing the older lock set and am renovating my apartment and doorknob turned out to be a coordination nightmare. I wanted to replace it however they had a week lead time for shipment of the goods. I had bought a lock it turns out I bought the kind of lockset.
I predicted M&D Locks and Keys . The first time replace it with a Schlage Sense and to eliminate an deadbolt that is older deadbolt. Joey arrived and finished the work with quality, fast and at a reasonable price.

Decent support! We moved here to replicate my Honda key for me daddy, so he can have a copy just in case. It was a little misunderstanding with all the price but the man in training so its understandable, that we talked to was. The total cost was 180 with taxes included (with no taxes, it had been 160). The speech is wrong on Yelp; its right across the street from Firestone; diagonal from Burger King and situated on 140 Empire Blvd nearer. They've very little knick knacks in there also like plungers, carts, etc.. The man was nice and useful. If I want to Can return later on.

The locksmiths were very friendly and did a nice job when it actually came into installing the lock. Their reaction time was rather quick also.

Since I was having a problem with a lock on my townhouse in Brooklyn, called M&D locks. The lock would no longer lock. After calling a few other areas being told the doors would need to be replaced (100 year old iron doors) since the lock is not repairable or replaceable (no lock exists that would fit in the original iron doorway ). Thank goodness for Joey. He was on time and quite honest and professional. He was able to disassemble and fix the lock onsite in less than one hour rescue me thousands of hassle and dollars. I am definitely going to use them when I replace the back doors of my house this summer and I highly recommend anyone needing an honest and skilled lock technician predict. Price was very reasonable. The fee was 1/2 what many wanted.

As Lina on the phone was useful and informative as I do not know much about lock or locks installation I chose to use M&D after recieving several quotations. Joey came to perform my installation and I was able to get an appointment the next day and was very professional and ready to answer my questions, and give me guidance about what lock I should go with. Just moved into a new apartment, saw the reviews on Yelp and within the hour we had Joey come out and over a half hour we had a safe lock recently installed.
