Great. After a horrible experience with another business nearby that broke my lockNyberg answered my telephone and took a same day appointment to repair it. They came within two hours fixed it over 15 minutes at under half the cost of the company that broke it.
Super friendly, and genuinely pleased to assist. I highly recommend calling Nyberg!
Paid $166 to come out and do the job they're hired for!!! The locksmith man was fine, but couldn't get the door shut. Yet you charge for nothing!!! Won't suggest them to some of the residents!!!
OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!!I would utilize Watson for all services and know they will do a fantastic job!
This outfit is really professional! I moved into their place downtown, arranged the guards I had, and got it they called me before showing around affirm - Matt did a superb and exact occupation, he cleaned the debris up afterwards, then supplied me with 6 fresh keys.
Great guys working there- they have it available for me for under $10 and 5 min for a walk in and I locked my suitcase with all the keys inside. Highly recommend!
I have been going to Nyberg for many years. I have a company which was started in 1899 (This is not a typo. We are 118 years old this season.) And we've got some fairly old unusual locks. They never fail to do a good job with anything they are brought by me. I had a very old (and odd) safe key to copy now. I took it to a locksmith that is a bit more convenient for me personally and they explained they couldn't do it. In fact the man said he really found the challenge pleasure! I can not recommend this place enough.
Quick and knowledgeable support. I believed that they completely knew their craft. Appreciate professionalism and their swiftness.
I saw one of the Vans last Friday on 405 N. towards Kirkland cutting off other cars then inexplicably merged to exit over the island to Kirkland after cutting me off and nearly caused an injury and when he got on 116th at Kirkland, overlook the Speed limit, he was going so fast in a residential places breaking every speed limit law and putting people at risk. They don't understand that your business van with your title, phone number and information on it's part of business. How do you push to your appointment. I won't ever do business.
In the end about $65 per key billed to cut. It was the only choice I had in the moment, although I thought it was overpriced. I didn't feel my company was appreciated and there wasn't any feeling of urgency or customer services.
I drove 20 miles to get there and had been advised I would have to leave the secrets for a few hours. I left my mobile, said I would window store and asked them to call when the keys were completed. The good news is that they called me about an hour later to inform that the keys have been performed.
Getting a fair price that is reasonable with support is a struggle and like Plumbers, they are not hard to find, although locksmiths are a dime a dozen.
I got a VW that was used and sadly the car only had one key. I called the dealer and from what I recall, the price was for programming, cutting and the key. What the hell happened to buying a key and obtaining it cut for under $20?
Don't seek out Nyberg.
I found keys that were blank on eBay for $25ea. I took the blank to a local hardware shop. They advised that there policy was only to cut on . They then recommended that I give a telephone to Nyberg Security.
(And you couldn't do this yesterday? Okay, fine)
I called asked if they are ready
I come there pick up my keys. I came home and they don't fit. Not the exact same cut. (Okay, not fine)
-Next day-
(Okay fine)
"They're prepared" (Without calling me back? Okay, fine)
"They're not prepared but I could have them prepared in 20 minutes"
I ordered keys
I called the number listed and it ends up to be Watson Security. (Okay, fine)
I drive to downtown
"Yes"
"We'll Provide you a call when they are ready"
I asked if they are ready and called
"Sorry for some reason that the order Wasn't put"
-Move to Nyberg-
I asked them when they could make it for me the following day and showed them the keys I would like.
-Next day-
Referred at the Belltown location to Jeffery for some warranty work. He did an superb job and even went to the length of answering and describing my questions. Very impressed above and beyond my own expectations. I would recommend this store. Excellent location in downtown.
Sickening inappropriate. Rick at Nyberg jumped to get out hit our car now with his work van, accost my girlfriend and attempt to ram the vehicle .
Upon entering the store to find some details on the circumstance, Rick just as rude to me, refused to be civil about the circumstance. He will now be getting an insurance coverage because of his behavior. This occurred in his work van on. What a terrible face for the corporation. Our account has been closed by our business with Nyberg.
Jessie Black, the location's manager, assured me that the situation would be managed and I would receive their insurance policy information. Still waiting on it. I might be willing to modify the rating should they deal with the situation and eliminate the Rick that is utterly sickening. Good thing some people may keep our wits about us, many people would have knocked him out.
Thanks for listening.
I don't get what people expect of a locksmith shop. I've never had them come out and unlock a door for me. But the in store expereince was clean efficient and quick with a location in downtown Seattle. I am a routine whenever I want a set of keys.
I presumed that the purchase price of replicating a key could be about the $2.85 per crucial I had paid sent and before a helper to get a dozen keys replicated. Nope, $5.60 per crucial! Price has doubled! $73 to get a 5-minute job!
That is it! I called a still independent locksmith, Bergmann's and they are $3.50 per crucial. I have ordered my primary blanks (odd and old) from MySecurityPro.com (50 keys for $22) and will either buy my own duplicator or go to my hardware shop (Stewart Lumber is great!) With my primary blanks and get the key replicated for $1.49 each. Closer and cheaper!
Argens closed in July 2013 and marketed their phone numbers and company records to Watson Security Group that has bought Nyberg Locksmith and maintained that title and place undamaged.
I am surprised to read these negative reviews. This is my favorite key store in all Seattle. They've a fantastic selection of keys, the keys created in the store work and the staff is helpful and prompt. I had them come out and re-key my apartment and they were timely and pleasant. My sole gripe is that they are closed on the weekend.
They're the best! Professional, reliable, great, Jesse replied all my calls and mails inmediately. I had to replace a very costly lock in my condominium and Jesse tried hard to find me a much better bargain, and he did! The technician was very professional, he also did the replacement and arrived on time.

Highly recommended, they are the best in Seattle!
Downtown was made by A handy place. They also have safes and electronic locks that look pretty cool. They service the intercom at the front door.
These guys have a fantastic wealth of knowledge and are always there to answer my own questions. Locksmith in town in my book.
These guys are the official locksmiths for our building. . .unfortunately their"on-call" service does not appear to exist! Our lock has been broken and we couldn't get into our flat... calling their crisis amount resulted in 2 unreturned messages and people calling another locksmith (who revealed within 20 minutes).
Find some place else to receive your keys. The guys making the keys don't bother with your purchase unless you're standing over them do their own job.
I went to this outfit to acquire extra keys my vehicle. They're the pricey ($25.) , programable sort of keys that the later model GM cars possess. As soon as I found that the keys could not be programmed and went outside for my car I went back and asked for a refund. The supervisor explained I had to take the vehicle to a dealer to correct the problem. That's baloney. They billed me $75 for 3 secrets that are useless. Do not conduct business with those guys!
