Brad is a God Send! Additionally, he made me two additional keys(regular, without the processor ) so I could use this pair of keys to open my door and trunk, so my electronic key would not split again!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!
Not only did he perform an superb job, but he performed the task under the price I was quoted on the phone!
That is my second time using them (my digital /"chip" key broke in the lock of my car) and each time they were on time, professional, and did good excellent work.

This is a very unethical business, bordering on illegal. I asked how much it would cost for them to come to cut via a bicycle lock and they send it'd be about $60. It ended up coming to $170. They did not inform me that it is $60 for them to show up and an extra $50 to get any kind of support because it was so complex to cut on away on a bicycle lock and then all of the extras. I rang them afterwards to explore this and that I found the customer support women to be disrespectful and rude.

$105 was quoted by charge. (expected to pay more, and a tip)
Charge added on $65. (service call) makes sense.
From there an appointment will be made, a tech will show up and you will be required to give a deposit prior to the tech. You will be asked to sign a disclosure agreement saying that all serviced rendered will be paid in full, you waived your right and a mechanics lien will be placed should you default on your payment. It says your screwed at this point and that all sales/service are closing. Also, note that you are signing a agreement! Really? If you object the tech will depart.
When I contested the extra charge with the tech after verifying he noticed his tech manual so he doesn't have future issues he said well, the 105 was to get its key,'' 65 for its support charge and 80 for me longer than expected, Our recording specifically states that we in the field make the last prices and this signed sheet says you consented to it. So, if you would like to dispute anything, good luck call the office, have a fantastic day.
Proceed with care and know you are NOT paying what you expect! Or even what you're told.
Really. . .That is an experience dilemma not a car issue. That shouldn't, in my opinion be an extra charge to the customer. Therefore, since I'm really not sure what I'm doing it will be more expensive??
I hope this helps somebody out there!
This really is a business with integrity that is poor. If you call some of their phone numbers there is a recording saying your price will be determined by the tech,"on site". The receptionists are the managers, supervisors, and act as gatekeepers. You won't speak with anybody . So, escalations are null. . .Thank you Reilly and Chloe. .
Extra cost of $80. Because Paul the tech didn't understand that the head of the key needed to be registered to fit in the home of the ignition and it took him time to figure out it.
Therefore, loss of keys on a non-chipped vehicle. Pretty simple, grab the tumbler out of the door, create a replacement and your good to go.
Great to know in America, with our shear numbers of suckers you twist every customer on the way and are able to make millions. The BBB currently has complaints. That is only good if somebody actually cares about their customer and anybody that knows numbers and the system knows that you're not likely to waste your time in courts etc. for an $80. dispute.

Very unethical. Prices changed when they obtained on web site. Ridiculous

Very business training. I predicted Discount Locksmith in addition to about 5 additional locksmiths in the region to receive the best price. So I decided to go together they were quite pleasant on the phone. I informed them about my automobile and exactly what I was needing. They told me my price could be $179 that was still high but not awful. The tech comes out and begins the project and has me sign a piece of paper and subsequently abandoned to laser cut my key and came back about an hour later. The bit of paper I signed already not only had the 179 cost but also for having the tech, a fee come out. There became quite rude and began raising her voice when I called the office to talk about the girl who works. I explained that I am the client and also have every right. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this business. Not only are they not fair when they are unhappy, however they treat their customers like crap. I believe they've had over 50 Better Business Bureau disputes from them.

Do not trust this locksmith. As other reviewers have mentioned, they have unethical business practices. I phoned several locksmiths in the region for quotes plus they had a lock to be fixed by the quote . I was somewhat suspicious, so I asked if there were any extra fees. The lady taking the call told me after being placed on hold. They took a picture of my credit card when they arrived and when the work was finished, the charges they fees were more than double the original estimate ($432 versus $180). This is a major hassle, although I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company.

Don't utilize this service. They don't tell you the fees when you ask. When they start your locks that they take all of info first(understandable so that they get payment and kniow it's the automobile ). As soon as they refuse to provide you keys till you change and sign prices once you consent to payment. Stay away. That is quite likley intentional although the technology was fine.

Echoing the reviews above, discover another locksmith. I had been quoted $105 for them to cut and program a new ignition key, however they neglected to mention the additional $65 service charge. Notice that the $105 charge for the key is approximately 10 times what the liter key will price on the internet, and you can program it yourself following directions online. The technology was too. All in all, I probably overpaid by about 95%.

Terrible! The locksmith which came was nice, but the woman on the phone wouldn't quote me a price. She only said it starts at bucks. She neglected to tell me that its another $65 bucks come to my property. She was asked by me for the costs over the telephone and she maintained that information! I was shocked to pay $110 bucks when all she told me was bucks on the telephone.

This place is an absolute joke. They advertise as Pro Keys. I was told 25 minutes for a locksmith to appear, over an hour later the guy phoned and said he was"20 minutes off". 30 minutes later I phoned him and told him to push it.

Before coming to repair a deadbolt that was busted, they asked for a cc #. They showed up and obtained a touch on a written receipt for from the door, quoted an additional $120 to repair the lock, charged the card 480. The lock technician Aaron was there less than an hour. They failed to phone back refused to provide a speech for a complaint, and refused to change the charge. Which compels me to phone the credit card company, the better business bureau, go on yelp & angie's list, and probably file a small claims lawsuit for fraud....over a few hundred dollars. What do they do when they're off the clock with their abilities that are locksmith?

The amount I had been quoted was not significantly greater than the amount I was billed. When I called regarding this problem, no one at Discount Locksmith managed to explain my original quotation and made it clear they had no intention of remedying the situation. Additionally, talking to a manager took several efforts, such as being assured I'd be given a call back (that I didn't ). The customer support was the and poor pricing deceiving if not dishonest.
