Experienced, professionalservice with good communication. 1 lock keyed and was mended, two external deadbolts replaced with deadbolts, and two doors were added to by two more of those. Got an appointment on changing the swing of a door.
During, Tim was responsive, professional, cordial and cost conscious. We discussed alternatives and determined by hardware which provided upgraded security at a value that was good. He suggested recycling the deadbolt into the garage service door in the front door.
What started out to fix a broken front door latch turned into a project. I wound up adding a deadbolt and replacing the door lever and deadbolt on the front door into the garage.
I am happy to endorse his solutions and quite content with the outcomes of the job of Tim.
His job was meticulous and efficient. During he was affable and informative. He fixed a safety screen door that was rear for no extra charge, while he had been engaged.

One of our passports were in there and we called Tim on a Sunday to determine if he would be accessible to emerge. Tim was extremely helpful and flexible, as he had been the only community locksmith we discovered who could and could emerge on a Sunday (!!) . Time was prompt nice, helpful and made it all simple. Tim was super helpful and professional. He responded came out in off hours, and turned right into a secure after the secret had been stolen. He managed to give recommendations for changing the locks. I would recommend him.
Tim was able to come same-day. He arrived in a"Holt Lock and Key" van. So I went with this option. While he installed the brand new latch, we had a terrific conversation, all said and done in about 15-20 mins! Service call was $70 and with all the replacement part and fix, I paid $110. I feel it was worth it! I am glad to know a reliable locksmith at Minneapolis. I know it will come in handy!
What a guy! My front door knob stuck and was broken in the locked position. I went out and purchased deadbolt and a brand new knob to utilize as a replacement. I realized the job was trickier than I could handle after viewing reviews on the internet so I phoned Tim.
Friendly, prompt and expert service! Easy to communicate with via text or phone- about scheduling, and flexible! They even fixed my door (in addition to the lock!) ! I would advise calling these people!

Foiled by my own fortress-like safety, I had been locked out of my own professional building in the very early a.m.. I made an emergency call - like a new customer - to Holt Lock & Key. Me to the building and they were there within minutes to make short work of getting my staff. Recognizing that the incident had set us behind schedule, Tim said he'd return later to repay. What a great service. Highly recommend.
On the afternoon of a snafu was with my speech but it worked out fine and Tim Holt made it into my place. Tim changed the locks did a few different items such as: my deadbolt and regular knob underneath it were not the same so he left them all 5 pins whereas before one was and one was 5, in addition, he chipped away at the wood in doorways to ensure that the locks lined up and latched correctly, and offered his knowledge on why the key would be the exact same for the deadbolt and lock.
Holt Lock & Key delivers service also at a price that is affordable. I'd called around to a total of 6 distinct locksmiths and Holt had been the bargain.
I'd called a couple of days in advance to make arrangements to have my own exterior locks. The scheduling procedure was a simple phone call.
Our realtor recommended we and Tim are glad he did! We bought a home and Tim came and set our locks all to one key, fixed an old interior door so we can really lock it, and did it quickly with work that was great. You could not ask for a man that you truly feel like you can trust immediately. Last but not least, the entire cost (such as 6 keys!) Was really fair - I was expecting we'd have to pay more (though to note - that is the first time I've used the services of a locksmith). We'll definitely be recommending him to friends, and if we require a locksmith again, we would 100% go with him.
