Quick service, very convenient. Highly recommend. Everyone was nice and courteous, cheap. Very knowledgeable. Would use him again if I want another cut or a lock out
They were there in 15 minutes and the technician was effecient and friendly! (house lockout) $80 service call and $15 to rekey). The only criticism is in order to get a 10% discount you must email them instead of calling. I dont want spam, so I find that annoying. Mentioning the discount would improve their customer service and ought to be sufficient. I'd suggest them, with that said.
These guys drive like complete ass****s on the street. If they can not care on the street for you. . .why could I expect them to take care of your home and you? Simply say'n.. .
I purchased a protected from them 20 decades ago. Still works great. Ever since that time Ireplicated many times and had of the keys for my 70 unit apartment building re keyed and've purchased two safes. A fabulous company of locks and safes with firsthand knowledge. There emergency units that are portable are top notch.
I purchased a spare key. Its an older truck, so it does not use one of these fancy transponder chip keys or anything like that.its not a laser cut key, either. Its not only a DEALER ONLY key. I bought this blank key from an online store and they sent me the blank key for my vehicle. "we do not do that here", I asked what the issue was, and he said he wouldn't cut my key because I did not buy it . I know that with any shop you take your product to,they are not gonna guarantee so why he stated he wouldn't do it, I'm not sure. Anyways, perhaps he thinks he's"over" such a small task as making a replica of an existing key. There was another man behind the counter, and there were not any other customers within the place, they both seemed to do nothing. I ended up driving the street up to 35th Ave Lock and Key Shop -LRB-602-RRB- 242-5429, the gentleman there was more than happy to cut my key. He laughed, grabbed my keys, and I had explained to him the METRO LOCK AND SAFE wouldn't do it and in a moment or two, my key was cut. It cost me $4, so the gentleman also explained that he hears terrible things about their shop and that he receives a whole lot of customers who are turned off from SAFE AND METRO LOCK. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO these clowns at METRO LOCK AND SAFE and will spread the word.
We called to get a locksmith to come to our home to fix our mortise lock. Eddie known and let us know he would be there in 15 minutes. He also fixed the issue, explained what he was doing and was gone within half an hour. Whereas desired a service call fee that was not applied to your 21, they give free estimates. I would HIGHLY recommend metro lock and services.
Spoke to Mike and he quoted me $150. I know this is the price he offered me since I called two other places and they each told me $150 so I figured this was the norm. Guy did the job fine and came out. When I went to pay, '' he told me a cost of $165. I called Mike and he told me that is what he offered me.
Please, should you decide to use this business, GET IT IN WRITING. You may be sorry if you do not.
I know it's not a lot more, but it is the principal. He was not inclined to work with me that is paid by me and that is it. The job had been done, so I did not have too many choices at this time. Guess I might have gone to court, but why? Figured I would write this up so that somebody wont get stuck with exactly what occurred to me personally.
They are not too proficient at their"Art". Three simply cut at out of four keys. The person who helped me was curt and smug and never apologized for destroying a costly blank.
