I thought I was going to have when my apartment's door shut and realized I'd left my keys inside. I panicked! Then I did what many people do... let us Yelp it and find somebody who can help me. I read the reviews on the company and really liked them. I chose to give it a try. I was amazed at the response I received from Jeff.
I was totally satisfied with the work of Jeff. It is highly recommended by me. You will be happy you did!
He was on time, polite, friendly, and professional. His prices were quite fair.

Jeff is superb! You get what you pay for -- although he's not the lowest priced, and he does good work. Really nice man, too, and he does his best to adapt your schedule.

After a terrible experience with another locksmith Jeff was excellent. He was set up our entry and it was the most easy experience I've had in some time. It was much needed. He let us know our door needed to be shaved due to the weather we have been having causing the door. We assumed the door needed to be substituted and had no idea why the doorway was a pain. He explained how to use the entry and forced the payment procedure easy.

Jeff is the best. Completely reliable. On time. Communicates perfectly. And the best is. It. It might be cheaper to find a random handyman, but you'll end up paying more in the long run. Do it right and quickly using Key and Van Nuys Lock.

Jeff's support has not been used by me, but he had just finished working on my neighbor's house when my dog had got loose and I tried to find him. He asked if he could help and heard me yelling my dog's name. Another guy with him and he took the time to push my area to assist me. They went into the next area to see whether they could find my pet there. Anyone who has that kind of community issue is someone I would visit and trust their services.
Long story short my neighbors discovered my dog and returned to us. Daughter, my husband and I are so grateful to everyone who helped, particularly people who did not have to, such as Jeff.

Imagine you had had your secure because even though you have the mix, the handle was broken, you didn't understand what was in it, for a long time which you could not open. Imagine you called Jeff at Van Nuys.
That is exactly what I did. He came out and opened the safe. There was nothing within.

Jeff is the best! He's re-keyed two homes for us. I desired Baldwin locks and he told me just how much it'd be to receive it. He assisted me to make certain that it was compatible with our doors and suggested Amazon to get a better cost. Excellent service, trust-worthy and trustworthy!

My husband and I locked ourselves from our flat one night . I, obviously, went directly to Yelp to get to the contact information for Jeff @ Van Nuys Lock & Key, because if we were going to get to cover an emergency locksmith, I needed that money to visit the man who first made it so easy for us. I left a fairly desperate cry for help on his mobile, in which his voicemail indicated,"That is Jeff at Van Nuys Lock & Key, or anything to this extent" - details of exactly where we had been, how I knew him by a year and a half ago when we first moved in, and that I would wait as long as you possibly can listen from him prior to making the following call to a locksmith. I never heard back. Not only in 10 minutes, not in an hour, not the day, not ever. When you are a 24-hour locksmith and do not return a call - ! - to a customer, no less - you receive a one-star review.

For another call, the man quoted me a slightly better price than Mister"Too Busy to Chat" and while he didn't rush through the call, he had been straight up business with no pleasantries or warmth to his voice, however I did book him. You YELPERS know what I'm speaking about. Not a terrible feeling as far as simply not a vibe - and yes, I realize I'm just looking for an honest, capable locksmith, not a life friendship. However...
He is very funny and very smart and in the end of the day involving each one of the re-keyed locks along with keys that are new, he delivered more than I charged less than he could have and asked or expected for. He even took the opportunity to describe and show how a lock works when a key is inserted and turned. He knows his trade. He has had a shop in a few places in Van Nuys but now he mobile.
When I called Van Nuys Lock & Key, the voice and demeanor on the end was like a friend or relative with whom I have a fantastic rapport. Occasionally when talking with a service supplier for the first time, you can get a sense that they know exactly what you're looking for and they converse in a friendly, logical and clean way. That's exactly what I got from Jeff. I'm a bit of a cynic by nature when it comes to contracting service people into my house every once in awhile, somebody comes along who breaks the mold versus exactly what they deliver.
Not unlike Liam Neeson, Jeff Bond has a specific set of abilities that surpasses those of ordinary mere mortal locksmiths. I could not find it, if there's anything less than a Yelp inspection for Jeff. Now I know why. I'd give 10 stars if it had been an option to him.
From the time you get to this posting, it's probable you will have noticed many locksmiths using evaluations. You and a few may have already spoken and booked an appointment. That's exactly what I did. The man anxious to get the telephone off and was having a client.
Five minutes after meeting with him, it felt as though I'd known him since high school. Is not exaggerated. Seriously people!! Jeff is the man!! Thank you for a great job Jeff - and I really don't think I properly thanked you for all those secrets - THANKS!! You Sir, are the best! And yes, as others have stated here, I'm a customer for life.
I called on him to re-key all of my locks. I asked for a bid to do others that I hadn't planned on changing, while he was here. Certainly, he decided to give a great price that was insanely honest to me. I really don't know whether it was because he already do or because that's how he rolls.

I called Jeff after my entrance door and mailbox had been vandalized (toothpicks had been jammed to the key holes). Jeff was reactive, fast, and personable. He was able to pull out the material of my door locks, saving me cash. Was blessed with the mailbox, but he was able to replace the lock quickly he had available. I truly appreciated the service. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Just the best.... Jeff Bond came out to remedy our flats' vintage locks, he left them like new , saving us replacing brass locks that were 90 year old with glass knobs. Amazing ! Set up a doorstop onto a bathroom door which will'n stay in place; seems beautiful and works great.
We have had limited results with other so called"locksmiths" and the search is over ~

Jeff is great. He returned our phone promptly and arrived earlier at our petition. We have so we got locked out of the laundry area. Jeff picked at the old lock, and replaced it with a lock for our grasp essential. The jeans are in the dryer today!

Jeff was excellent! We had a set of house keys stolen by a car right in front of the property. We needed to change our locks that day all and he was here within an hour of my call.
